I can see how most will think this is a great value. Most washes are relatively more than what you pay here. After months of driving by this place; I stopped in. Outside of my car was fine, but really the whole time I'm trying to figure out the procedure for this place. It all seems like a bit robotic with not a lot of customer service. 2 people scrub down your car, drive thru rinse, and towel dried by hand for 8 bucks. An actual clean car that far beats a machine wash. Super fast and hard working crew. When I get my interior cleaned, this one takes more time, but it's cuz they're actually cleaning and vacuuming my car. Can't be mad at that. And it's only like $23 total. I just left the Vallejo car wash on Admiral Callahan lane. It is a Monday evening after 5pm. I can not explain how Immaculate,my car looks. I do not have a new or fancy car. There is a team of awesome workers. Two young ladies did my car. I did not watch them. I was reading a book. I am so Happy with my car. This is the best my car has looked in years. Glad I tipped them ,they deserve it!!!!!!! I already told some of my friends. I do not even live here, but I am from here. I will totally continue to come here to Vallejo Car Wash!!!!!!!! read more

I've used this car wash several times over the past few years and I've been disappointed about 50% of the time. Service at this location is inconsistent during busy periods and today was one of them. The wash was substandard with only a cursory "hand wash" that really didn't wash anything. Also, upon exiting the wash tunnel there was nowhere to go with cars lining up behind me and indifferent employees avoiding eye contact with nobody taking charge to direct the traffic. Moving to a vacant spot toward the front of the drying/detailing area, however, got the attention of an employee who directed me toward the back of the line. When I asked him where to go, he just repeated, "go to the back" and walked away. After attempting to move to the back of the line, I decided it wasn't safe, and I left. I missed out on the towel dry and tire treatment ($2 gone), but I've learned my lesson with this business and I don't plan to return there. read more

I don't recommend using this wash. I paid for the works and was told my dash would be treated and I would get a fragrance. The kids they have working there has no work Ethic and rush through and do half ass work. The dash, wheel trim and Fragrance was missed. Once I request for the fragrance at least, the leather smelt like raw rotten chicken, not anything close to resembling leather. It's my first time here and, looking at the amount of cars that were there, I thought I was going to be here for a while. It took an hour tops. I bought the works and am pleased with the results. I have two, young and very messy kids and a dog that enjoys rides to the dog park and the car came out great, in consideration. According to my cousin, who referred me to the place, I could've asked for them to clean up more and touch up a few spots, but I'm easy to please. By no means was this a detail purchase. This is a terrible car wash, it lacks quality pure N simple. I payed 28 dollars for a car wash, my rims wasn't cleaned, had to tell them to put a fragrance in my vehicle, they didnt wash my shell on my truck, the interior wasnt wiped down correctly, put some armour all or something on my seats, there greasy. Its poorly managed, they need to understand when a person pays 30 dollars for a wash do what's needed to make the customer happy. They need to fire everybody and start a new. Paid $30 for The Works w/Rain-X The only thing they did right was vacuum and clean my interior windows. There was a large drop of sap on my windshield that I had to tell them to take off which they should have caught on their own. Not only did they NOT include the Rain-x on my windows (tested this by spraying my windshield with washer fluid to see how the water beads off), they didn't get all of the splattered bugs off the hood and grill of my car. This place is also highly disorganized. Owners coming out with their cars from the drive thru wash and workers do not give clear guidance where we should park our cars. Car wash places here in the Bay Area in general are already ridiculously overpriced and I have yet to find a place that does more than just a mediocre job for the kind of money they charge. Conclusion: I don't recommend this place and I'm never coming back. read more

So I come to get my company car washed, and I sit for a few minutes with no one in line. Someone finally comes over and he looks disinterested to start. I say want the interior and exterior cleaned and his response is "We are very busy, it will be 45 minutes at least" and gives me a blank stare. Whenever I'm in Vallejo and i need a car wash i never hesitate to go here. Friendly workers and fast and efficient service. Prices are very fair especially compared to where i live in Daly City. When i worked in rohnert park I use to frequent their Novato location as well and got the same service. The best part is i do not have to get down and dirty and clean my own car! Lines on the weekend can be long but worth the wait to have a nice and clean vehicle. For those long waits they have a nice little lounge area with a flat screen TV. They also have a very robust selection of car scents that you can choose from with certain washes. Oh yeah don't forget to tip the hard workers. read more

I came here once and was far from impressed car was half clean bugs still on the bumper, complained to management and I wanted around to speak to someone all of a sudden no one speaks English!?!? Several months later I went back again no difference half a-- cleaning carpet was half vacuumed, interior was still dirty. Visiting family, they gave me a coupon for a complete car wash for only $21.99, so I thought I would get my SUV washed! All the staff was very nice and I was especially impressed with the two young men who cleaned the inside of my SUV thoroughly. One of them even took my son's booster seat and cleaned all the crumbs off! No one has ever done that before & I really appreciated it! I went here for the first time and was very impressed. I had just returned from a road trip spanning the entire length of California and of course by the time I returned my car was covered in bugs, dirt, salt water and even tar splatter. The inside was covered in crumbs, sand and greasy fingerprints left behind from my two year old. They did a fantastic job, I got the Works package which is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. I have a Honda Odyssey so I am obliged to pay a little extra bringing the price to $26.99. It was well worth it they actually started me off with a hand wash and then sent me through the car wash and out the other side. On the other side we got out and they did a very detailed job of vacuuming, cleaning the floor mats(actually take them out), the interior conditioner actually made some difference and they didn't leave fuzz all over my dash like a lot of the other places. Overall I was very happy, its a new place so there is no fancy gift shop, but if you want to grab a bite to eat there is a Jack in the Box an the parking lot as well as a Caffino for coffee drinks. I would love it if they had some sort of deal where you could by 5 washes for a discounted price. read more

I took my truck in to be washed on the outside only since the inside was already clean. When I pulled out of the car wash a guy was drying it off with wet rags that were streaking my black truck all up and then after 1 minute of that he waved like he was done, I got out to look and the whole back section of my truck was all full of white sudsy soap like it never even got rinsed off. I told him it's all soapy still you have to rinse off the soap and then dry it(he only dried the front of my truck if that what you want to call it with wet rags) he looked at me like he didn't understand English and waved me to go with a big soapy truck. When I went, it wasn't so busy, so I got excellent service! For $24 bux I got the works. It took about 20 minutes, but I had 5 people working on my car and when they were finished, my car looked like new. Usually when I get my car washed, I will still find remnants of dust and a few finger prints, etc. But seriously, getting into my car afterwards was like getting into a new car. And I have to say that I hadn't gotten my car washed in several months. I had gone camping at one point, so there was a bunch of dirt and plant matter all over inside, not to mention dried up spilled coffee around the cup holders in the dash, etc. I felt sorry for the people cleaning it...... but they rocked it! I'll begin with this: I originally started this review with 3 stars, but changed it to 4. I found out about this place after looking at the back of my Safeway receipt and there was a coupon. I decided to go with The Works for $21.00. I figured, "If their version of The Works is comparable to other car washes I've been to, this is one heck of a deal!". I pull up to the car wash menu and realize the coupon is only for $2.00 off. With that said, the prices are still pretty reasonable. That's a plus! The guy who helped me and took my payment didn't seem like the friendliest guy, but he also wasn't rude. They have an array of scents to choose from. I picked jasmine - I've never known another car wash place to have that scent! Plus #2. You ride with your car through the car wash, which is always fun. When it was my turn, there were 2-3 guys who started with a hand wash. They sprayed my car down, washed it with multiple sponges, and really spent some time on my car. I've been in need of a good wash. Once they were done, the ride wash started. It was like any other - no surprises. There was a woman waiting at the end who used towels to take the excess water off. I then pulled up under the tent and the real cleaning began. They vacuumed the $#@& out of my car! Again, much needed and plus #3. Overall, they did a solid job. What bothered me the most were 3 things - 1) it was only $2 off, but still the price is reasonable. 2) one woman in particular who was working on my car took her sweet time and kept rubbing off the same left rear tire well spot over and over. 3) I got home and noticed that my rims were not really cleaned off. They took a towel or what-have-you to the general area of the rim, but didn't touch the insides - the spokes, if you will? (Please keep in mind, I'm not a huge car professor). If I had looked at my car and rims more carefully while I was there, I would've said something. Unfortunately, I noticed when I got home. Other than the rims, my car is pretty as ever! Again, a solid job overall by this place. The inside and outside are clean, they vacuumed my trunk, and the jasmine scent smells great. I was honestly shocked that they opened my trunk as that has always been the "no-go" zone at other car washes I've been to. There are no trust issues here. Paid $90.00 for a wash and wax to my small car. They promised to call me when it was done, but I ended up calling them after 2.5 hours since I didn't hear from them within the 1.5 to 2 hours they said it might take. Exterior: looks like they did a great job on the wash and wax. (5 stars) Wheels and tires look great too, but the wheels are not as clean as I would have them. (4 stars) They got all the door jambs like I would when I wash. On the rear hatch they missed some areas all along the opening and the sand caught in the weather stripping. (4 stars) They didn't clean the painted areas within the engine compartment. I don't mind doing this myself. When I open the hood I like to see sparkling paint when checking the oil and other fluids. I also wipe the hood along the inside perimeter and other easily accessible painted surfaces in there. (no deducts for these comments) Interior: the front half looks good. They got all the dust and wiped everything down with Armor All or the like. On the rear half they missed some areas mostly due to the fact that the seats were not folded flat. I suppose if I folded the seats down they wouldn't have vacuumed the floor or the mats, but that's means other areas are going to get missed. (4 stars) The employes I talked to were all very pleasant. One guy, however, seemed to misunderstand my questions about the various car wash options and how long they needed my car, even though his American English seemed almost perfect to me. The bottom line: they saved me hours of my life today, so it was worth it. Plus I like to support local businesses. I just hope they read this and work towards improving their processes where indicated. read more

Pretty half-assed job. Left lots of tiny flecks of dirt and bird poop on roof of car. Barely washed the hood - it was still dusty when they were done. Pre-wash crew seemed like the B Team and were rude. I ended up asking to borrow a towel and finished the job myself. I personally prefer them over 7 Flags. 7 flags is more pricy, I pay $28 for exterior and interior cleaning. At 7 flags you pay an additional cost for workers to dry your car which is separate from another cost for them to clean your mats, vacuum, etc. I have to say come when they first open, they are usually busy. It takes some time for them to get to each car, but i don't mind waiting bc my car is cleaned very well. If you want a quick, expensive wash then go to 7 Flags. But this car wash put much effort into cleaning cars for a good price! read more

Only $15 for an awesome exterior and interior vacuum. I'm from SF and there aren't many thorough car washes around! So whenever I'm in the area I always make a trip to this awesome cleaner. I'm quite nit picky when it comes to cleaning things ESP my car! I felt bad picking out little things to have them re do or scrap off, but they were totally great about it. They got me in and out pretty quickly. Your car will look better then when it came in. They don't get a majority of mud/poop/brake dust off. The second half is a drive thru wash. Unfortunately, it is not toucheless. BEWARE LOW CARS!!!: The wash has barriers that stick out of the ground, near the entrance.The workers yelled at me "go go go, keep moving forward!!!" when I told them about it. This made me very pissed. Took my car to get washed. BAD RESULTS. I paid good money to get my car cleaned and the guys end up SCRATCHING the paint on the hood of my car!! Despite the current rating and reviews regarding this business, a few months back I decided to give this place a try. A little back story, the area that my car is parked at during work my vehicle is consistently hit by a barrage of bee pollen and other contaminants. So after a few days my car looks like it's been hit by a spray of bee &$?! Other hand wash places have either told me they would not gaurantee or asked me to tip a large amount to put more work to remove the contaminants. This business did not.
