What a great way to start a Saturday morning! This is such a great farmers market with such variety of vendors and in the midst of so many small businesses. Coming from LA, I was impressed by the diversity of vendors and how lively it was! It was really fun to try the different samples and shop through produce, flowers, dim sum, sauces, and more. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Cannot wait to be back!

It's been ages since I've been here but I'm glad to see it's still going on and still going strong. It looks smaller than it used to be--I could have sworn there used to be vendors for merch and toys, but the food and produce vendors are still here. On one block you have mainly the vegetable stalls, and on the other block, you have the fruit stalls. As a Filipino, this is the perfect spot to find some fresh produce commonly used in Filipino cuisine. My mom and aunt love coming here for their long beans, bittermelon, and moringa. Street parking only, and sometimes it can be hard to find, but usually you'll be able to find a spot somewhere. Just bring some grocery bags in case you park far and have a big haul!

It's Halloween season and the Vallejo farmers market is ready with seasonal produce. As before I didn't spot carving pumpkins. I assume you have to go to a pumpkin patch. The fruits of the season, plums, persimmons and more were displayed in bountiful splendor. The fruits of the sea were well represented- oysters, fish, shrimp. Wish I had noticed this last time. I could have planned a little better and gotten something going. One of the venders was selling Asian dim sum treats. But I had loaded up on vegetables from my fav farmer. I was too loaded to carry anymore long before I got all the items on my wishlist. Clearly, I need to get a little shopping cart. Or perhaps the market does? As usual the parking was busy. Ended up parking in an empty lot that belonged to a business. Luckily they were closed. But shhhh....

    Nice selection of mushrooms

Wow, I haven't been to this market in years and was happy to see it's still here. I love that it takes place in old town Vallejo. Lots of colorful fruits, veggies & flowers. Friendly vendors too. Next time I'm in the area on a Saturday, I'll be sure to stop by.

Vallejo gets a bad wrap but this downtown event is fantastic. Variety of different foods, vendors, vegetables and just an eclectic mix of goods. You can smell the different bbq and kettle corn from one block to the next. Pretty cool specialty stops with crafts, fresh honey, fresh meat and just a bit of everything. Tasted some delicious cara cara oranges so getting a bag of those.

Times are different with covid but it doesn't mean you can't go out to the farmers' market and support the local businesses. Rules have changed for the health of the public and it's a bit tricky navigating the street with 6 ft distancing but everyone has masks and the vendors pack the produce for you. Don't touch the produce, wait your turn in line and all should be well. I wanted to highlight a soap business - Wisdom by wisdom natural soaps. I came by two weeks ago and bought the lavender soap and black nirvana and found myself hooked. This woman has a magical touch in her creations and has made me an instant fan. Her products are natural and hasn't made me itch or breakout so I decided to buy her lotion, body butter, deodorant and more soaps...because this is the time for more hand washing anyway.

Vallejo Farmers' Market has been here for years on Saturday mornings. Definitely a Vallejo staple growing up, located off Georgia street downtown, it's always nice seeing the diversity, vendors, music, and running into those you went to school with growing up. My dad consistently goes to the farmers market for eggs- balut and fruits, especially strawberries, nectarines, and pluots. My mom tries to find fresh vegetables including mushrooms and whatever good finds we can get to support local businesses. In the center they have food vendors and the kettle corn stand is usually there. If you're free on a Saturday and want to take a stroll downtown, come by Vallejo's waterfront and see what you can find!

A great way to support local farmers and small businesses. There's a lot of fruit and vegetables, and a good variety of food vendors. We went a little earlier so it wasn't super crowded. But as we were leaving, I saw a bunch of people arriving with personal size shopping carts and coolers with wheels. They were serious shoppers! Ha! I would definitely encourage people to come out regularly and support this Farmers' Market.

I enjoyed myself! Let's jump into the atmosphere: family friendly! You will see people of all ages walking around sampling, buying, or just browsing. There is security on hand if anything goes wrong but everything seemed fine to me! Booths: mainly produce but it's a good variety from squash to cherry plums. The City of Vallejo had a booth and even a chicken cupcake station. Wait did I say chicken cupcakes? Yes literally fried chicken on a red velvet cupcake. There were some bbq and jewelry booths as well and let's not forget the all natural items like juice, naan, and honey. Now why the 4 stars? It's really small. It's more for people coming to get produce rather than the arts or trading varieties that to make really make farmers markets tick. It also seems like 80% of the sellers were from way out of town. I would love to see if more Vallejo residents would come and show their talent.

I go every week all the vendors are great. The fruit and vegetables are so good way better than the store. And last but not least it's safe.

Somewhat of a small(ish) neighborhood grocery store that also sells tacos/burritos/prepared fruits/fresh guacamole. There it will be your chance to empty your wallet quickly with totally overpriced products! We where out of milk so I went to get a quart as we live around the corner on Alabama St. I gave the cashier a $5 bill but was stunned when I got only 49 cents back! $ 4.51 for a quart of milk???? WTF!? So for a gallon you "need to get a bank loan"? I asked and the cashier confirmed. I said NO! Not like that! I'm not paying artificially greedy inflated prices like that! We can do without. The buck stops here! The store manager had to be called as I wanted a refund. I told him that all grocery stores in the are, even overpriced Safeway charges far less for a quart; $ 1.98 and al their products are price labelled. He snapped back: "Then go buy it there!" Thanks! I will! I'm done with you! I know "El de 2 Oros "for over 15 years and it used to have price labels on products and fairly reasonable prices. Not anymore! Since the Covid hysteria --which they still practice by running around in masks-- They no longer label anything and their prices have gone through the roof. Carpe Diem, greed is good? Milk & bilk? I once got slapped with almost $ 30.- charge for a few apples and oranges! So a couple of years ago I suggested to the store manager to do at least a price range labeling as it would give buyers a fair chance and decision and not get sucker punched once the cashier rung all up and then having to wait for an refund/exchange process. Nah, to much work... I'm done with them! As a consumer, a client and I have the right to know the price of items before and not "after the fact" purchase!

On the door it says open until 7pm but on Yelp it says closes at 5:30pm. I came here excited for an acai bowl! I asked to add extra ice so the acai was thick, because typically places make them soup-y. The cashier said she'll just add less juice so it's more thick, awesome ok. I get the bowl and as soon as I pick it up the content inside swishes around like soup. The 3 strawberries were not even cut? They were just whole, frozen strawberries. But for the fresas con crema we got, strawberries looked more fresh and were sliced :( Ok back to the acai bowl, the granola was just a skinny sliver. Maybe like 5% of the bowl on the top. The overall taste of the bowl was just not there. I'm so sad it wasn't that great but I get it, the bowls aren't their specialty and they just opened with new hires. I ended up going back inside and asking them to just blend it all and put it into a cup. They already knew I was asking for that because it was sooo soup-y and not thick at all. Just a warning for my acai bowl lovers. I'm sure everything else here is good but I'm going to come back after they get more experience. Sucks to leave a bad review but hopefully this is helpful to those looking at this spot for an acai bowl.
