The food is so delicious, portion size huge! Pictures are half portions. Coffee was strong. Juan Garcia, owner was super on point. He kept refilling our coffees. Ambiance feels like a hole in a wall. New favorite breakfast spot in Vallejo. I ordered a Denver omelette and pancakes and they were delicious. Juan co owns the restaurant and I was able to talk with him for a bit - he is extremely kind and really wanting the restaurant to be a Vallejo staple. There was great customer service all around! It's a small family owned business with some character and very clean. I will 100% be going back.

I was craving a burger but to lazy to simply make my own so stopped by here based on all the great Yelp reviews. I'm glad I did. Hands down the best burger in Vallejo and the surrounding area. Big, juicy and tasty. A full 1/2 pound of beef. And the fries are spot on!! Crispy but not dry. Salted perfectly. Oh let me throw in how when I asked for water he gave me an ice cold sealed bottle, free of charge. So add great customer service to the great food offered! Definitely gonna be my new go to stop on days where burgers are on my mind. Heck, based on the reviews and how delicious the burger was I might have to bring my wife for breakfast sometime soon. read more

We went to support this local family restaurant. The co-owner Juan was very nice and accommodating. He has worked at restaurants for decades. The food was generous , delicious and fairly priced. It did not disappoint and we will come back. read more

We stopped here on our way to the bay from Sacramento. We looked at Yelp and all the reviews were 5 stars, so we decided to check it out. It was very small, but the owner made it a very personal experience! He brought us bottled water which I really appreciated because I hate when restaurants serve water that tastes like it's from a hose! We had the steak and eggs with loaded potatoes and an English muffin. Everything was awesome! We especially loved the loaded potatoes. I have never had that anywhere and wish everyone had that! Such a unique touch! My kids both enjoyed their meals too. 5 stars all around. The owner was really nice and did a great job. He mentioned that he has only been open 6 months. It was slow for a Saturday morning. I hope he gets flooded with business because it was really great! read more

I came in specifically to purchase their empanadas (chicken and beef) and the carioca. They were busy on a Friday afternoon, so the line to pay was backed up. This bake shop is not very big, so it can feel a little crowded at times. The cashier tends to try to promote items (upsell) for you to purchase as you are checking out. The general area is a little sketchy as there are a bunch of homeless people walking around in the nearby streets and sometimes in the parking lot. Seafood City does hire security that hang out outside, so there is less homeless walking around near the stores and restaurants now.

The selection isn't the biggest but what they have is good. When I went I got a mango bar cake. It was about $15. It was enough for six slices of cake. The cake wasn't too sweet. I will note that they don't pull the cake from the display box. They pulled it from a fridge/freezer behind the register. So you may want to keep the cake out at room temp to thaw a bit before eating.

I absolutely enjoy visiting this restaurant in Vallejo! The restaurant is spotless, the owner, Juan and staff are super friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. The food is delicious -- perfectly cooked, not greasy, and just the right portions. I had their Classic Cheese Burger. Their fries is crispy with fulfilling burgers are definitely highlights! Joy of Eating serves some of the BEST country potatoes in town. I've tried plenty of breakfast spots throughout Vallejo, and these potatoes stand out: hot, flavorful, and perfectly satisfying. The omelets are beautifully prepared, the pancakes are delicious, and the coffee is always fresh and enjoyable. On my latest visit, I customized the Garden Omelet, which comes with spinach, tomatoes, onions, and mushrooms. I added turkey sausage and cheddar cheese, and the combination was excellent. I paired it with those incredible country potatoes and the homemade toast and that toast is absolutely OFF THE CHAIN! Add a little mixed berry jelly, and you have a breakfast worth coming back for. The atmosphere is peaceful, comfortable, and wonderfully down-home. It's the kind of place where you can settle in, enjoy a full cup of coffee, savor a hearty meal, and start your day on the right note. I usually visit two or three times a month, primarily for breakfast. I've heard great things about their sandwiches and lunch selections, but breakfast keeps pulling me back.
