Called at 4:15 as I was scrambling to get a smog so I could register my truck by the end of the day. Lovely lady behind the counter said as long as I get there by 4:30 they could do it. I got there at 4:25 and was out in about 10 minutes with enough time to get to the DMV. They have a coupon. Be sure to use it. I forgot mine and mentioned it and they gave it to me anyway. Make sure you tell them or give the coupon BEFORE you sign the work paper. I saw one review on here that said the lady behind the counter was unpleasant. This is not the case and is most likely an isolated incident. She was very nice. I don't do many reviews but this place was EXCELLENT!! read more

I went in for a smog check on my 135i bmw and come to find out the Cobb charge pipe had now California legal tags. They even tried to find some info online about the charge pipe. Was no luck. Worst experience ever getting a smog!!! Didn't even have the courtesy to tell me that my truck would automatically fail due to the check engine being on!! Total disappointment. Then they had the audacity to tell me that the state wants them to do the check anyway! $61.00 out the window. Thought I was doing the right thing going to a local business. I will never go there again. I guess common courtesy and honesty are not on their priority list. So disappointed! read more

Best smog site I've been to ever. From the warm welcome to the free wireless internet... they are very accomodating. They have multiple smog inspection stations, so wait is minimal. I have taken 2 cars there and the wait has been very minimal, the customer service has been great and the owner will sit with you if he finds any issues as to why your car did not pass smog. Just got my car smogged today - they were fast (less then 20 minutes) and the YELP coupon is a great deal.

Hands down the best smog shop in Vallejo. The Guys there are extremely friendly and helpful. Mike came right out when I pulled in, shook my hand and got started right away. Very fast service, I was in and out in 20 minutes tops. My car failed the first time for a minor timing problem, but the guys told me exactly how to fix it and even gave me a free retest. Went home, fixed the problem in about 5 minutes, and passed 10 minutes later. Mention that you heard about them on yelp and you get 30 bucks off and a free retest if you fail. Just got back from my smog test and I rarely place comments online but these guys deserve the notoriety! Mike greeted me right away as soon as i got out of the car with a smile, took my paperwork and coupon then showed me the waiting area. He informed me that there was 3 cars ahead of me but still got the job done in less than half an hour. Great smog test place, and very knowledgable manager, Richard. I drive a smog-legal performance car but had problems getting the test done at some other places. Richard clearly has lots of experience because he was able to complete the test in a few minutes even with my unique set up. Also very friendly and caring service.
