I did a standard Cotton black tee which was a quality tee, soft to the touch, not super thick not too thin just right. Product kept in its own area with plenty of types to choose from i even noticed custom logos being made with even nicer material shirts. No strange odors either so you won't have to worry about that. My husband and I were so impressed and pleased by the way Scott, the owner, and his office manager, Tia, and the shop staff took care of us right from the start-before we made any decisions all the way through to delivery. We stopped by their facility where they took the time to find photos of boats similar to ours with their wakeboard towers and even took us into the shop to show us some options. Then, when we brought our boat by to be measured, they actually took the time to show us a few options by pulling our boat into their shop and hovering a few different models of towers over it. This type of service is rare but much appreciated these days. We love our new Samson Tower! Our boat dealer recommended Samson and we now recommend it to anyone we know that is looking for a new wakeboard tower. Just in case you are trying to decided if you should even get one, getting those boards out of your boat is worth it alone. Wakeboarding is so much more enjoyable as well!

I work from home the majority of the time but when I am traveling for work in standing on my feet so I'm perpetually looking for the most comfortable sneakers while I'm in the hospital/clinic, etc. I shared that with the sales lady during my visit and she made an excellent point. "Comfortable shoes aren't supportive shoes. And that's why you're here. You need supportive shoes." To which I was like ok but why must it be one or the other??? lol Bottom line- she fitted me in a shoe size I would NOT have picked for myself. It wasn't the most comfortable shoe. But I tried to just trust the process because I was in pain. So it was hard to be unbiased. What swayed me was it can't hurt to give it a try, the shoe I was leaning towards was cheaper than what was online, and they have a 90 day return policy. I have pretty much only worn these shoes in the last ~4 months. Heel pain is way less painful and the times that I have worn slip ons or some other crap shoe, that pain comes back. So I'm ready to get rid of all my shoes and only trust this woman. lol I highly recommend. And don't be put off like I was. I hate to admit it but at first appearance I thought it was just an "old lady shoe store." They don't have unlimited trendy options. But I'm there for support, not for cute or comfort. lol it is what it is. Accepting the aging process. Ps my shoe makes my foot look smaller. So that is a plus.

The staff is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also some of the friendliest people I've ever met in any business. Every visit leaves me with a smile--and way more knowledge than I had going in. I've recently taken a few of their classes, and I can honestly say it's the most fulfilling money I've ever spent. I did Spencer Pelham's Clack Attack class as well as his Intro to Fly Fishing, finishing with a float on the Clackamas River today. It was incredible--so many "Ah-ha!" moments where everything just clicked into place. While Clack Attack was a bit technical for my beginner skill level, it was packed with valuable info. Spencer is incredibly skilled, yet humble and patient. He teaches in a way that makes you feel comfortable and supported while still learning a ton. The way he tied the content of both classes together on the river made it all come alive. I should mention--I'm a 52-year-old woman and a recent breast cancer survivor. Getting back out there and doing something like this was emotional, powerful, and healing. Being on the water today felt like reconnecting with an old friend. We caught several beautiful trout and saw osprey, beavers, bald eagles, and more. It was a magical day. Spencer went above and beyond, not just today but every time I've spoken with him. And the whole NWFFO crew? They've created something really rare. From my second visit on, it was "Hey Jen, how are ya?"--the kind of warm, small-town vibe that's hard to find anywhere, let alone in Portland. If you're new to fly fishing or looking to level up, sign up for these classes. Don't be intimidated if you take Clack Attack first--it may seem over your head at first, but it will all click, especially after taking the Intro class. Throw in a casting lesson or two, and you'll be amazed how it comes together. Massive thanks to everyone at NWFFO--and especially Spencer--for making this journey so special.
