I still liked my earplugs. They play music off of YouTube, so you can request music during the MRI. All in all, it was a great experience, and the best deal around. Corky, was a huge blessing, working with me for days, trying to help me figure out why it was so difficult to find a closer location to my home. She also ended up getting me in touch with their Tech Savanna, who was another blessing. Savanna, ended up helping me figure out the confusion with the coding and description on my referral; which turned out to be the problem and reason as to why all the other locations could not do my ultrasound. They were both so super friendly and helpful with all of this, in a time when I was stressed out, making call after call, trying to navigate all of this medical terminology for almost a week. I am so extremely grateful, that I was fortunate to have people as caring and helpful as Corky and Savanna. I really don't know how things would have turned out without their help.

If you visit the Sheila R Veloz website, they make it seem like it's the premiere place for breast speciality care and as if they're willing to help you out in your time of need, and as if it's easy to schedule an appointment and get the peace of mind you're seeking. Well, that wasn't the case for me. When I called and explained my situation to the receptionist she was cold and unhelpful. Despite having PPO insurance, a referral from my primary provider and copies of my medical records/ultrasound, and being high risk for bc, this place refused to schedule an appointment because I'm under 40 years old. I'm genuinely shocked by this experience. So where do women such as myself go for breast speciality care and diagnostics if not this place? He was very skilled and asked questions and then listened. He did not try to force any test on you but gave you his knowledge and let you decide. Milton made me feel as though he was a Doctor and knew what he was doing. The staff is knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. The facility is very clean with updated medical equipment and electronic devices. This place is in a well lit, safe surrounding in a nice shopping center. The wait time when we went was not long and I appreciated that. When you're sick you'd rather be home in bed than in an urgent care. I highly recommend this Urgent Care.

I even moved from CA and fly in from Texas just to see him because he's always done such a great job, until now. When I came in for my filler in June 2025, the appointment felt rushed from the start. It usually takes about 30 minutes, but this time Dr. Lin was done in 10 minutes. A few days later, I noticed uneven, hollow areas under my eyes, which was something that has never happened before. I reached out to express my concerns and request a refund for the $850 I paid (which, by the way, used to be $400). Instead of any accountability, I was told by Lucy that refunds are not offered but that I could speak with Dr. Lin directly. Dr. Lin agreed to fix the issue, so I scheduled a follow-up and another flight from Texas, and another expense. But when I arrived in California, I found out Lucy had booked me at a completely different office (Sherman Oaks) instead of the Valencia office I've gone to for a decade. When I realized the mistake and tried to reschedule, as it was too far away for the time I had to do it. I texted back, emailed, even called, and I was completely ignored. Because of this careless handling, I ended up losing $1,400 in travel costs due to flight changes and extra expenses from the government shutdown. And to make matters worse, I now have to spend another $850 elsewhere just to get my filler fixed. I just want a refund of my $850. I can't even begin to describe how disappointed and disrespected I feel after ten years of loyalty. The quality of care and communication has gone drastically downhill since the switch to Unified Health. As a VIP patient, I no longer recognize this practice, and I will not be returning.
