If you visit the Sheila R Veloz website, they make it seem like it's the premiere place for breast speciality care and as if they're willing to help you out in your time of need, and as if it's easy to schedule an appointment and get the peace of mind you're seeking. Well, that wasn't the case for me. When I called and explained my situation to the receptionist she was cold and unhelpful. Despite having PPO insurance, a referral from my primary provider and copies of my medical records/ultrasound, and being high risk for bc, this place refused to schedule an appointment because I'm under 40 years old. I just wish when two different providers order ultrasound a couple days apart that they could take that into account and make the appointment into one so that I didn't have to go to two different locations today for the two different ultrasounds.
