Called Valley Cities Fence since I have used them in the past and made an appointment for an estimate to install a large swinging gate, 2 man gates and a privacy fence. They set up a date and time for Marcus to come out, Marcus was running early and called to see if I was available so he could come earlier. When arriving he was able to understand what we needed and wanted. I had an estimate with in 48 hours that I approved and he scheduled for 1 week out. The crews were on time both days and did a great job. This company has great customer service and a great final product. I will use them again and refer if someone asks me who installed them. I had a couple of vinyl fence panels where the bottom rails popped out during some severe storms. I called one company that was listed through Angie to come and give me a quote on the work and material. The quote was $1000. Thinking this was a bit steep, and after watching some YouTube videos on how to do the repair, I found Valley Cities Fence and emailed them pictures of the damage sections and asked if they had that style of fencing. On a whim I also asked what the quote would be to do the repair. They sent John out to look and he quickly stated he could use the existing pieces and put both panels back together for less $100, which I gladly had him do. I am extremely disappointed with Valley Cities Fence's lack of accountability and poor follow-up service. Despite my patience, repeated attempts to communicate, and giving them ample opportunity to rectify the damage (3 months) their team caused to my mailbox post in which their truck brushed up my neighbor's mailbox and broke off the door which then caused the post to become loose nearly falling over; they outright denied responsibility. Jon did come out to assess the situation, but his makeshift "fix" consisted of a temporary patch and propping up the post with random plastic from his truck--an utterly inadequate solution that is far from permanent. While they were quick to complete the initial job, their follow-up support is nonexistent and their refusal to own up to the damage is unacceptable. A neighbor hired Valley Cities Fence to replace our shared fence. They tore down and removed the old fence quickly and at a competitive price. The new fence looks good and was installed within two days. However, during their initial visit, their team damaged our mailbox, breaking the door and leaving the post dangerously unstable. I contacted Jon, who offered to inspect and repair it, but the lack of a proper resolution has been frustrating. While the price and speed of the fence installation were satisfactory, their failure to address the damage they caused significantly overshadows the experience. read more

I pass The Valley on my way to Lowe's and thought dang if I ever get around to fixing my chain link fence.... Well that day came, and my good sense prompted me to descend into The Valley and fish out a fence (rather, parts thereof). Customers of The Valley are more likely to need a few acres of fence for horses, whereas I need a few parts to put in the trunk of my Honda sedan. No matter! The staff was supportive, helpful, and knowledgeable. The lovely and gracious Mrs. Yelper and I replaced 6 crooked poles, installed 2 gates, and now we feel like homesteaders. Started off great. Was a little above other quotes. However, they sounded confident in their ability and estimated time of completion. The estimated 7 day install turned into a few months. During this time it was almost impossible to even contact our Pm for any info on progress. My wife and I consider ourselves to be very patient people with anything related to construction considering we are both PMs in the industry. Trying to move on and forget the experience is haunted by continuing to find flaws in there work. Yes simple flaws however for 30k we expected a little more attention to detail. I have a hard time recommending this company.I'm hoping they can fix these problems. We shall see. read more

First and foremost they never showed up on the day that they stated they were going to start the fence. I had to call the office and ask about why the fence was not being installed. Second for a fence company that has been in business for well over 40 years should understand after being told there is sprinklers close to be careful around them. They broke off one sprinkler head, damaged a pipe and cut another pipe which I have no idea where it is cut. I am including pictures as proof. Our old wood fence is over 30+ years old, falling over, separating, and rotting away. After contacting all of my neighbors, I did my research for a few weeks and had a few come out for quotes. I was referred to Valley Cities Fence by another neighbor in our area. I called them and had appointment with Jon the following week. He notified me after he left his previous appointment, and arrived within the time expected. I told him the options I was looking at, and he took measurements, checked out the state of the old fence, and discussed vinyl fencing with me. He went to his truck and drew up the diagram with a very reasonable quote for each section of the sides I shared with each neighbor. From there, I had to convince and coordinate with several neighbors, and after a few weeks finally agreed to the start date. During the entire time I had contacted Jon via email, text, and phone, along with the main office staff with questions every neighbor had. Once the start date arrived, the team of four in two trucks knocked out the entire old fencing, and started installing the new vinyl fencing. They completed what they could the first day, and then a team of two completed the rest for the remaining two days. Overall, it took three days to complete, mainly due to big rocks slowing down the drilling process. But the teams managed to get all the post installed and panels installed. They built the single gate on-site and installed as well. They also worked on my next door neighbors gate, as she needed a gate replaced as well. Overall they did a great job, and everyone in my neighborhood liked the new fencing. I have referred them to other people as well. My only advice for everyone is to do your research, know what you want, ask lots of questions, and be reasonable about what to expect. Every job and area is different, and they will work with you to get what you want done. Went to get fencing supplies. When we got there one person showed us the 30% off used fencing. We didn't need fancy so we picked out what we wanted and went to pay. We paid the lady at the front counter then went to the back to load up. The guy in the back refused to give us what we picked out stating "we would never sell this so cheap, take this one for that price". Then we asked another worker what poles would work, he recommends one and we took that to. When we got home the pole was to big to use. We went back and they said we could not exchange the pole even though their worker told us it would work. Nobody seems to know what's going on around this place, they were all less than helpful. So, the beagles turn into gladiators when the mailman comes to the house. Bigger one bites/pierces the ear of smaller one, and costs us big bucks at emergency vet. As a result, we needed to separate them and/or block off areas of the yard to keep the peace. After looking at fencing for "tame livestock" and considering our beagles really are like young goats, bad young goats, we needed some portable chain link panels to MacGyver something in the yard. Maybe because it was Saturday and they close at 2, there was only one poor guy working the yard. We talked to him for a few minutes as he was putting together some chain link for a bossy lady sitting in her air conditioned truck before she rolled down the window to yell at him that she had to be "somewhere." If I were him, I would have told her to go "somewhere," but that's probably why I'm not in the service industry. It ended up being more of a self-service trip as we rummaged through the yard and found what we needed. The woman at the front desk was nice as was the one and only guy in the yard, but seems like they need more staff on a Saturday. If we didn't know what we were looking for or had a bigger job to do, we probably would have left and gone to another place. read more

They weren't the cheapest, but I had the most confidence in them to rebuild two gates and my street facing fence. Figured I'd be using these gates for many years, wanted them done right. Workers were competent, pleasant and cleaned up after themselves. When completed, I had an issue with one gate (part my fault, part theirs). Marcus came out, gave me a couple options. I recently put in 3,000 sq. ft. of pavers in my driveway and walkway and was tired of looking at my old ugly two sets of Double Gates chain link fence at the front of my property, as well as, my old chain link fencing in my back yard area. So, I had two fencing companies come out and give me an estimate and thought this would be the perfect time since my old ugly concrete driveway were going to be demolished and removed to make way for my new pavers. Marcus Gonzales from Valley Cities Fence Co. came out and gave me a bid which I thought was very reasonable and signed a work order with Valley Cities Fence. After my old ugly concrete was removed, two of Valley Cities Fence installers showed up promptly the next day and removed my two old gates and fence posts and installed all new ones. Later that day, Marcus stopped by to inspect the completed work. While there, I advised Marcus that I wanted to add some additional Vinyl fencing to the original work order and we worked out a new cost, which I thought was very fair. After my new pavers were installed, Valley Cities installers showed-up promptly to install my "two" new sets of "White Vinyl" Double Gates and White Vinyl Fencing along my long driveway leading into my back yard horse property area. Upon completion, Marcus stopped by to inspect the finished work. Just had our entire wooden, decrepit fence replaced with a new, vinyl one. Had Jon out once to get an estimate and once again to go over details once we selected his company. We had been looking to put up vinyl fencing for awhile. I took my time and got a lot of estimates. I had heard one of the ones I had got an estimate on does most of the fencing for the city of Corona. But when they came out to give us an estimate they were in about the middle of all the ones I got. I really liked the guy he really seemed to know what he was talking about and pointed out things on other fences that they would have done different. They reinforce there bigger gates so they are sturdier. But they were more expensive. Well he told me to go ahead and get more estimates and he would try and do better or match them. Well he did. We hired them and they were awesome. The workers were the hardest workers I've ever seen. They took pride in there work. They were so nice. They told me everything they were doing step by step. They cleaned the whole fence when they were done. Cleaned up everything. They did both sides and I had two gates put on one side and 1 huge gate on the other. It took only 4 days for everything. Very disappointed in this company. We need to replace our fence between my house and our neighbors. They came out and gave us a quote. Before they did work, It was requested that my neighbor cut back shrub on his fence to prepare for demo which he did. We scheduled a date for them to come out. They did, and said my neighbor needed to cut more off and refused to work until it was done. He did and they came out a third time and said it was good to go. The day they were supposed to put in our fence, They told our neighbor that it was too much work and asked for more money. How come this wasn't addressed the first three times they came out?!
