I've used Valley Collision for all my body shop needs over the past 15 years (across two cars) and I really like the work they do to make a car look brand new. The reason I have not rated them higher though is because they would not take responsibility for two issues I had after I picked up the car: they disconnected one of my horn hoses and either disconnected or broke one of my window switches as well. I ended up paying another place to fix, but I don't feel I should have had to incur that cost since the issue was caused when the car was in their care. They also did not call me once throughout the process of getting the car fixed; I had to keep chasing for answers on when it would be done and could be picked up, which I just found to be poor communication. read more

Absolute amateurs with horrible service. Never on time, low quality lazy work. They completed a repair of a dent on my trunk, in the process they scratched the paint, painted over badges, and some of the paint is literally peeling at the seams. Did not have any paint issues before the repair, they just suck and don't know how to complete a paint job. I had to come back to the shop 4 separate times because I kept finding issues with their repair job, and their paint job. Absolute morons. Do not come here, it will make you want to pull your hair out because they literally are not good at anything. They left my car in worse condition than I brought it to them. I was unfortunately involved in an accident with my car that I've only had for 5 months. My insurance was quick in getting things moving and recommended VALLEY COLLISION CENTER as they are the certified repair shop in my area. I got connected with SAM, who explained the entire repair process to me. Valley Collision Center: Incredibly dishonest and poor work quality. After being rear ended, the insurance (Progressive) scheduled inspections and repairs for my SUV with the first available autobody/collision center which happened to be Valley Collision Center. My bumper had scratches due to the car accident, and Valley Collision Center had the entire bumper fixed/repainted. The repairs looked great when I drove away but too bad it only held up for a short period of time.... Fast forward approximately THREE WEEKS after the repair. The paint along the repaired/repainted bumper starts to chip along the edges. I called Valley Collision Center to let them know of the defect in their work that was completed merely THREE WEEKS ago and I was instructed to bring the car in to have it looked at (because "they warranty their work"...sure). The next day, I bring the car to Raymond at Valley Collision Center and he quickly looks at it, says it's not a defect that the paint is chipping, and gets ready to print out an estimate to fix the problem. (So quick to print out an estimate and swindle for more money, right?) He definitely was not interested in taking responsibility for the shop's poor quality -- rather claiming that maybe it was scratched/damaged. Note: the chips are on the top edge of my SUV's bumper, which would be an incredibly difficult area for a shopping cart to bump into/ a car to scratch/ trash cans to ding/ etc. I am so frustrated that I wasted my time going through with the repairs with Valley Collision Center, and I am so worried that the paint will continue to chip/flake off with time. I wish I did my research rather than just opting with Valley Collision Center who had the soonest availability. I will definitely submit a complaint with Progressive to re-evaluate(and hopefully discontinue) their relationship/contract with Valley Collision Center and filing a complaint with the BBB. Please do your due diligence before selecting this autobody shop. Side note: They DO NOT wear masks indoors in spite of the updated mask order due to the surge of COVID cases. The lack of care is so disappointing. read more

Oh boy. Don't come here.. I was referred to this place by my insurance and it's the worst place I could have gone. I had a hit and run where someone rear ended me so my bumper needed to be replaced. They use salvaged parts and don't really care how it looks.. no attention to detail or they are just trying to get out of doing things by doing them the cheap and fast way. They very obviously replaced my bumper with a used one because it's sunken in. On the day where I'm supposed to get my car back they call me, very concerned, because all the lights on my dashboard are on and accusing me of bringing the car in like that. I know I didn't bring my car in there with any lights on so when he mentions that he has a picture of it. I ask him what time the picture was taken. He mentions the picture is at noon. I catch him in a lie because I brought my car in at 5:30pm two days before so whatever happened happened in their care. So I get there and we drive the car and the lights go away. I then sign the papers and I get my car back, but I'm about to leave and notice that the passenger side mirror looks a little off. I get out of the car and try to adjust it because maybe it's just pushed in but it is completely broken off it's hinges. I go back to the office and say that my mirror is broken. The guy comes out to look at it but says that there's no way they could have broken it. So we go back and forth and I say I'm not taking my car home more broken than when I dropped it off and I decide to call my insurance after I leave the shop. The guy at the shop calls me a day later and says that he will fix the mirror as a "customer service". True customer service would be not breaking anything else while my car is in your care and maybe not arguing with the customer after accusing them of bringing the car in like that especially when you yourself had written down that there was nothing wrong with the mirror. In hindsight them messing up my mirror probably sent the electrical system in the car on a frenzy with the lights on the dash because the mirror on the passenger side has a blindside camera. So I go to pick up my car with now two replaced sections made up of salvaged parts instead of just one and I make sure I examine the entire car. I take the car home dirty and with fingerprints all over the replaced mirror. No pride in their work.. just cranking out those easy money insurance claim cars. I still said thank you because it felt weird not to but I seriously don't recommend this place. AND.. they walk around with no masks on during covid times. read more

When I showed up on Monday, 10 minutes before they were officially open, he said it was good I came so early because he was about to tear down the car even though I had called to tell him not to. He then tried to charge me for storing the car on Monday even though I had gotten there before they were officially open. Don't expect any politeness either unless he gets his own way. So... I took my car here due to a Progressive claim. (I was rear ended on the freeway) They did the work to repair the damage and they did it well. The bumper is flawless and they also washed the car and cleaned the interior. If that was the extent of my interaction, I'd be happy with them. I also asked them to replace my headlights. Now, my headlights are not easy to get to or I would do it myself. In order to replace my headlights, one must remove the entire bumper. I purchased 4 headlights on Amazon and took them with me. They, without telling me this was the case, did the work. They took off the bumper and they replaced the high beams. Just the high beams. Now, the high beams were fine. They did not need replacing. The low beams did. They informed me that the bulbs I gave them did not work for the low beams. Mazda, Amazon and various light bulb vendors would disagree with them. I took them at their word as they were the ones who took the bumper off and attempted to install the beams. (After originally telling me new light bulbs would be over $500) Now, bear in mind, they did not call me to update me on this. If they had, I would have procured the proper bulbs and brought them over so that they could do all of the work at once. I then took my car to my usual mechanic. I needed something else repaired. I informed him of the situation and told him I would go buy the proper bulbs and bring them to him if he ascertained I needed different bulbs. They popped the bumper off, got to the bulbs and *gasp* I had purchased the correct bulbs! So... I paid $150 for the high beams that were fine to be replaced and for no one to call me to inform me that I didn't have the correct bulbs for the low beams... when I did. Had I received a call... I may not be as annoyed. I would gladly pay $150 for the labor as I am unwiling to do it myself. They never called me, they did the work, replaced bulbs that were working fine, and they lied. Now, they also gave it back to me with an additional problem. For some reason, the car forever thinks that the key is in the ignition. This was not a problem prior to Valley Collision working on my car. What does this mean? I can't lock my car. So I had to pay my usual mechanic additional labor in order to fix the ignition issue that they caused. Never again. read more

Came in to fix a dented bumper, Literally i came in NOVEMBER, said itd take 3 weeks. I came in NOVEMBER and everything was done by MAY 2022. They kept pushing the date back saying it wasnt ready. Said they couldnt find the parts for it. Then said itd take another month. Now its January, still hasnt been fixed, they told me they ordered the parts but that they havent been shipped. Told me itd take another month. Then Feubruary comes around, i told them that i needed my car, and they said they were missing a piece on the door. But i decided to take the car anyways because i couldn't afford not having my own car, i was borrowing my dads. They told me theyd call me when the part came in and they'd fix it right away. I came to pick up my car, the inside of the car was dirty, my chairs are a leather material / light beige, they had black scuff marks all over them. The hood latch WAS MISSING and they BROKE the window sash molding. They told me theyd detail the car for me, and theyd look for replacements for the latch and the window sash molding... FASTFORWARD TWO MONTHS, its literally MARCH NOW. They tell me they cant find the molding replacement... then April comes around... same excuse... i decided to take the matter into my own hands, i call my auto dealership and it literally took me less than a day to find the part myself. I bought the part from the dealership and brought it to the collision center. They reimbursed me for it but told me theyd work on in a week... and the day came and they told me theyd have it done and theyd detail everything in less than 4 hours, i needed my car before 5 and i gave it to them at 12:30 pm. I came around 5 and they hadnt even detailed the car.... They told me to come back tomorrow... at this point i was fed up and told then i couldnt wait any longer... so they said theyd do it asap... i waited another half hour, and all they did was vacuum and wipe down the car. It took literally 6 MONTHS just for a DENTED BUMPER. So much hastle for no reason. Literally switched my insurance because of this whole process...they recommended this horrible auto shop, i hope no one brings their vehicle here, and if you do.. good luck. read more

So I finally picked my car up and I'm extremely disappointed I was promised a detail on my car and that was a lie and when I looked at my keys I noticed they attached a Valley collision bottle opener!! Seems to me they encourage drinking and driving. Hmmmmmmmmm I don't recommend this place at all!!! In addition The general manager is extremely rude and unprofessional.. He yelled at me and told me that I was rude to his employees.. if he thinks calling every other day asking about my car and why it has been over a month since they've had possession of my car just for a alignment issue then I recommend him going back to college and take a business and management course,because the way he was talking to me was extremely rude!! Had a great experience with these guys. Showed up early for my Progressive estimate, and they got me taken care of immediately. When I dropped my car for repair, they immediately called Enterprise for me. When Enterprise hadn't shown up in 10 minutes, they called and hassled them since "they had a customer waiting." A few min later when Enterprise still hadn't shown up, they had one of their own guys drive me over to the rental car place. They got my car done in 2.5 days when Progressive had said 5-7. The repair looks great. Far better than I ever expected. Washed and waxed the whole car too, even on the inside of the windshield, which was impressive to me. Picking it up took all of 60 seconds, the time it took for someone to pull it around. Would definitely recommend these guys overall. My biggest complaint would be the horrible morning shows they have playing on the TV in the lobby. ;) read more

Was referred here by my insurance company and i legit want to switch insurances! Something I am definitely going to look into. They are very unprofessional here . My vehicle was suppose to be ready on Wednesday and when I called on Friday they advised that it would be ready before Wednesday. They constantly kept advising me they would call me when it was ready. Guess what they never called me. I went ahead called Tuesday to be told my car should be ready on original date Wednesday. Then Wednesday comes around and I have to call to verify that it was ready to only be yelled at and to be told it wasn't ready. He legit yelled at me stating that he was also upset and wanted to get paid already. Then he tells me car should be ready tomorrow which would be Thursday since it's not ready. At this point Not only hVe I been lied to but also screamed at. My car ended up being ready on Friday. When I picked it up, the guy had a stank face. If you thought that was the worst part, well it wasn't! I had clothes and shoes and a box in the trunk and they legit grabbed all that stuff and put in all over the passenger back seat. They really didn't have to do that! No respect for other's property . So disrespectful !Oh I forgot to mention that he found a bracelet in my car which he had the nerve to ask if it was mine. Like it's in my car who else's would it be? I am definitely going to also call my insurance company and let them know exactly what type of company is representing them ! Stay far away from this place ! Unless you also want to deal with this kind of drama! Got into a car accident recently and progressive recommend this shop. From the beginning everyone was super helpful and friendly about getting my car in for repair. Dropping off the car was fast and easy and they even called enterprise to come pick me up since I needed a rental. Got T-boned at the intersection of Victory and Hazeltine...joy. Biggest obstacle: I work long hours at a talent agency in Century City, so I wasn't able to be present during any prior inspections, and I could only pick up my car on a Saturday. They were very accommodating to my schedule, and it only took them about 2 weeks to make all the repairs. I couldn't be more impressed with their work. It's like a brand new car (2008 VW Jetta SE). To top it all off, MY CAR HAS NEVER BEEN CLEANER!!! They detailed EVERYTHING so it really is like a whole new car! This review is being written more than a year after the repair because of ongoing issues. They repaired my vehicle through insurance and used the wrong plastic rivets on the door weather strips. After one of the strips fell off because it wasn't properly attached I convinced them to replace it. Then I discover (on the same door) another weather strip isn't properly attached. It has the correct parts to hold it on but all of the rivets in the center are wrong and don't hold it on. Very loud when driving down the freeway. I'm currently in an America's tire getting my tires rotated and they've informed me that the tire these guys replaced on my car is the same brand but a different tire(a cheaper hankook model) that has worn out much much faster than the rest of the tires, and will probably need to be replaced soon. When I first left this place I thought they were stand up folks that did a good job but as time goes on Im terrified to find out what else will be wrong with my car. If you choose to use these folks, do what I didn't, make sure they're using genuine parts and the correct models. They wont. read more
