This practice has slid into greed, discomfort and apathy in the treatment disabled and anxious patients. Dr. Millett does not lack technical skill, he lacks empathy. That is more dangerous than a bad dentist, is one with apathy towards lifetime patients. Dr. Scannell retiring had an immediate impact, it isn't a good one. My family and I have been patients for 20+ years, a simple misunderstanding caused me to be instantly dismissed from care with no warning. I asked explicitly for Dr. Millett to call me, I received no call, I asked twice while confused and crying. I received a short email. I was unable to even ask for a suggestion of a trauma informed colleague or where to turn for care. For someone with medical anxiety you put your trust in a dentists hands and be treated as disposable? I couldn't even get a proper phone call when I've only ever been polite or scared in my language. I imagine there will be a false apology or neutralizing statement by the practice. My point is this; If you thought this was a 'family' environment or that you are cared about? You are not. It is a numbers game and those who have any disability, anxiety or PTSD are not going to be heard or treated with respect. The technicians are kind and compassionate. But- the front desk and Dr. Millett have a lot to learn about how important his role is especially to traumatized and disabled patients, even if dismissing them from care, humanity matters. read more

I have been coming to valley dental care for several years. Melanie and Susan are there to greet you. So warm and friendly! Beth is my hygienist and no one is more thorough. My teeth are well cared for and Beth is 100% terrific. Dr. Millette is wonderful at everything I've had done. For several years I brought my elderly mother. "Since my long-time dentist in Nashua left the area approx. 10 years ago (tough act to follow), I have been searching for a new dentist. Dr. Brian Millett and his team at Valley Dental Care are absolutely FABULOUS! They are all very friendly and caring. Dr. M was straightforward and honest, presenting me with all my options for replacing the front bottom teeth I've had missing for years. A bridge was an affordable solution that worked for me. We were trying to match the color of my teeth, but one old tooth was way darker than all the others. I was SO surprised when Dr. Millett offered to add that tooth to my bridge - strengthening the bridge and matching the color of the surrounding teeth - at no additional cost to me! All I can say is "Wow" and "Thank You" and "Yes, please!!!"... This place is like a dream come true for me! I very highly recommend them! read more

We had a minor dental emergency for my daughter who had a sharp brace wire that was causing her to bleed. After trying unsuccessfully to reach her regular orthodontist for an emergency visit at 7:15 pm, I took a chance and called Valley Dental hoping they could help her before they closed at 8:00 p.m. Even though she wasn't a patient of theirs, they said if we could get there quickly, they would see her. We raced down, and she was quickly ushered into the back by Dr. Millett who very kindly took care of the problem as they let me fill out the required new patient forms as he worked. The brace wire was smoothed down no longer cutting into my daughters cheek, and they sent us on our way in under 20 minutes, but not before I informed them they would be seeing us again as we would be making them our new primary dentist. Can't say enough how impressed I was and appreciative of their kind service. Highly recommend. read more

There are not enough words to justify how I feel about my recent experience with Dr. Millett. I could easily write a 5 page detailed description of how incredible it was. What I will say is, if I had to describe it in one word, it would be integrity. He went above and beyond to assist my husband over a long holiday weekend, and we weren't even his patients. My husband was suffering in an incredible amount of pain. I will be forever grateful that Dr. Millett did "what was right" even though there wasn't anything directly that would benefit him and when no one was looking.
