I would not recommend this dental office based on my experience. Their x-ray machine was not working, so they used a manual device and took more than nine images before I finally declined further attempts. When I asked about a fluoride treatment, the staff member couldn't explain what it was. " I think its a sealant" The cleaning itself was very brief, about seven minutes total and they were unable to floss my teeth, advising me to "just floss at home." When I later requested my records to transfer to my previous dentist, there was confusion between locations. I was told they were sent but when I called two days later I was told that I was not a patient at that location and she listed male patients with my last name... Im female and she probably shouldn't tell me that info. I called the correct location and was advised I may get a call back on her personal number because the phones were acting up and she wanted to throw them against the wall. Overall, the visit felt disorganized and unprofessional, and I chose to return to my previous provider. read more

Absolutely horrible place!! Don't ever go here!! Receptionist was beyond rude to me! When you wake up with the flu, people do that you know and it can't be helped! Like me, had no warning and woke up so sick! Needed to call and reschedule, she was quite rude about it, saying I needed 24 hours notice! I was a patient at Rivendell. I stopped going because of 1) high turnover - saw different providers and staff all the time 2) poor billing department - always having to make sure they bill right. 3) advising me that I have great insurance, and that my insurance covers dental work when it wasn't and got billed $$$$ then sent to collections after two notices. Lastly I feel as though I was brought back for multiple small dental treatments instead of scheduling in fewer visits. For minor minor dental issues brought unto my attention by dentist that I have had for years that suddenly need treatment. My family and I are NEVER going back. read more

Everyone there was super nice the Denist took care of everything thing he said if I feel and discomfort to let me know so I did I had to be numb 4 times but, he was very patient with me. I got strep throat the weekend before my Monday appt. I called first thing that morning and Michael told me I would be charged $50 fee if I didn't come in. I said I would rather just come in then pay the fee. I was then told I could NOT come into the office if I had a fever. I was under the impression there wouldn't be a fee for missing this appt since I was told NOT to come in. A few weeks later I get a text saying this is the final attempt to collect money before being sent to collections. i call right away, speak to Michael again, who tell me he will talk to his supervisor and get back to. I was just alarmed that it said it would roll over to collections in 5-7 days. Micheal promised me that wasn't the case and it takes Atleast 90days to go to collections... I called back this morning(4 days after speaking to Michael) and ask if the supervisor had time to look it over and he said yes she couldnt waive the fee and it's been sent to collections. Not happy with these folks. I called them 7 months ago to see if they accepted my child's insurance. They said they did, so I said I'd call back when he needed another checkup. I called them 1 month ago and reconfirmed that they accepted his insurance, and then I scheduled an appointment for tomorrow. They called me today to say they DON'T accept my insurance (oops!), and I can pay out of pocket. This is unacceptable. My best efforts of communicating and planning well in advance have been dashed by this outfit, and now I get to scramble to find another dentist who can see my child tomorrow. The worst dentist, I have ever been to I got an implant and they broke the screw off inside the hole and then blame me for it and kick them me out of their practice. They blamed they said that I did it at home which is ludicrous, because why would I have the new crown with the new screw in it from the lab at my house, I went in the office to get it put in and Dr. Lee applied too much torque and snapped off in half and size is the hole where the implant screws into and they blamed me and they still tried to get paid actually a man or a dentist rather owns a chain of these Valley dental and he lied to my insurance and said that it was put in with no problem and my insurance took his side, obviously were still in dispute, but that insurance I mean a picture or an x-ray would of just shown the truth now the original surgical dentist Hass to keep ordering different tools to try to get the screw out and one tool didn't work so now he hast to order another who's paying for all this I'm not going to I think Valley dental should they chased me outside and started cussing at me, and saying it was my fault read more

Not real impressed. First time at this dentist after 4 decades with my previous dentist. Only changed because it was too far and the drive was bad In Winter. Excellent dentist and staff and I guess I'm spoiled. At Valley Dental I was there 15 minutes ahead of appointment and filled out all paperwork. I was finally seen by the hygienist 45 minutes later and the dentist another 20 minutes later. Got sprayed with hygienist's Warner pick twice. Not very good with the mouth piece getting an exray and dental equipment outdated compared to previous dentist. Used to receiving a small package that includes a toothbrush, dental floss and small tube of toothpaste. Not at this dentist. Was in a hurry so did not feel well taken care of. read more

I went for a cleaning. They looked at X-rays from 6 months prior when I had seen them and told me this time I had a cavity based on the X-rays that I didn't have last time (first one ever!). Scheduled an appointment, got it drilled and filled. 1st filling fell into my throat immediately. They filled it again and it also fell out in the office. They filled it a 3rd time and it fell out that night. I called, went back in the same day I called and upon arrival (45 minutes away), they told me in person that I'd have to come back in 3 days to get it filled. No apology, just told me to come back. I said no I would not be back and asked for a refund. I was assured that when the owner (Dr. Ayman Adeeb) got back from vacation, I'd get my refund. Guess what I haven't seen yet? What I did get was two bills in the mail. I got a bill for the MISSED APPOINTMENT that I didn't make for them to fill it a 4th time and a bill for more money from filling my tooth the first three times because their supplies exceeded what my insurance was paying and what I had already paid for it. It gets better. I found a real dentist on short notice that could fix their mistake. They took an X-ray and found that not only was my filling missing, my nerve was now infected and I needed a root canal. I went to an Endodontist for the root canal and HE found that the tooth behind it was also cracked from either me biting on the filling that fell out or all of the messing around that they had to do to fill the original tooth 3 times. I wound up getting TWO ROOT CANALS and TWO CROWNS as a result of Valley Dental Care and they still insist I owe them for an appointment I didn't make and the more money from the original 3 time failed attempt at filling my tooth. This is a horrible practice and I recommend that no one ever step foot in their door. read more

Would not go there if I were you. There back office is is unprofessional, inaccurate, non-communicative, and rude. They are unfamiliar with insurance practices and billing. I was billed for work that insurance covered, they refused to discuss with me, and sent me to collections. I contacted insurance company and they "reconciled" with office manager. I contacted BBB and they got collection company to rescind all. Guess what? Two months later I got billed again for the same thing. The service provided by valley dental is as expected, no complaints there. I do however have a problem with their back office. They were inaccurate on the amount my insurance would cover for a procedure, which resulted in me over paying by $100. The procedure was performed and paid for in December 2017. As of 2019 I am still waiting for a refund. I have called 5 times and been given a run around each time. I have chosen take my business to another dentist. read more

Just not a good experience. Insurance paid only 10 % and not the 50% that I was told , paid for office visit but not x rays and the x rays were so bad that the next dentist I went to could not see them clearly enough to see the condition of a tooth and had to retake them. Then was charged a Covid fee which is ridiculous and nobody else I know charges that. That's just for starters . Then you have some traveling dentist that you may never see you again and who is not familiar with your problems, it's like seeing a different doctor every time that knows nothing about you or your conditions. Everybody was sharing the same pens and clipboards to fill out the information sheet and the front door handle was sticky so it had not been cleaned or disinfected. read more

Be very leery if considering this office for dental service. The communication between the staff and the patient and the staff amongst each other is horrible. I provided proof of two types of federal insurance. Only one was filed. I received a bill, contacted the office and was told not to worry about the bill, it will be resolved. Months later I reached back out to find out the resolution only to be told I was sent to collection. Fast forward 3 years later, I receive a collection notice for a bill that should have been filed with the secondary insurance. What type of service is this? I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I'm not sure how what they do is even legal. Only because the staff is too lazy to file the claim and follow up with the insurance companies that are provided by the patient. Just an awful place. read more

Dr Lee is a fine dentist. He worked on my crown and did a very thorough job considering this was at the backmost end of my mouth. I saw one of their dental hygienist and she was very rude. didn't even want me to use the bathroom as she wanted to start with the cleaning right away. She did the periodontal cleaning very quickly too that the regular cleaning took more time. that's how fast she worked! it was more like speed cleaning than a quality deep cleaning. Their billing office is crooked though. Our dental plan had a set rate for services and they padded our charges. They owed us but didn't offer to refund this but instead kept in in our account as a balance to be deducted from for future services. We complained to our dental insurance company and they are investigating this, including their practice of double dipping (that is, charging the patient and billing the insurance company for the same service). As good as our dentist, Dr Lee, is we are not going back to this crooked practice. read more

I called in two weeks ago to schedule an appointment for my husband. I scheduled a general cleaning for him. They told me they dont open back up until the 27th. No problem I scheduled for the 27th. He got there they said they cant do the cleaning due to covid-19 instead they took xrays that we didnt want, and sent him on his way. Was very rude to him throughout his whole time there. Receptionist Amanda told him she doesn't share her hand sanitizer. I went in to ask why it wasnt communicated to us that he couldn't get them cleaned. As she was telling me they just found out Friday she (Amanda) was rolling her eyes and bobbling her head to me. Very unprofessional, and rude!! Bottom line: Don't become a patient here because there is a lack of communication between decision makers and staff. This leads to you, the client, being stuck between doctors, staff and owners -- and ultimately zero results in your favor and simply headache. I became a patient in the middle of June this year. I just needed cleaning and some fillings. Dr. Harrison did my cleaning and she was fantastic, professional and knowledgeable, but the good of the clinic ends there. The doctor who did my fillings recommended a night guard for me, and so I got one. He said it would take a week to make. Two weeks go by without any contact from the office, so I call to try to find out what happened. After a few back and forth calls, the office manager tells me my night guard needs a remolding and I'll have to go in for another impression. She says she'll check with the Doctor. A few days go by, I call to follow up. (Almost everyone I spoke with is not good at calling back -- FYI). The doctor said the mold broke and it was the lab's fault so I'll have to come in for a remolding. At this point, I ask if I can just get a refund. He said I'll have to talk to the office manager. So I do. She said she had to talk to the finance lady. Then she discovers my night guard was there all along! I told her I would still like a refund after thinking about how often I would actually wear it. The office manager didn't follow up after a few days -- so I did. And again. And again. And again. She is still waiting on decisions to be made by others...I understand this may be at no fault of her own, but it leads to me to be a very unhappy client. I'm definitely going to look for a new clinic because this is very bad customer service. Clients and good service obviously are not a top priority here. read more

I had a horrible experience. They wanted to take x-rays every 6 months, rather than every year. When I told them that I would just like a cleaning and not have x-rays (I would rather not be exposed to unnecessary radiation), they refused to give me a cleaning even! They said that would be a liability for them. Then when we changed our dentist I called and asked for our records to be transferred to the new dentist and they said there would be a $30 fee/per patient, which would have been $120 for our family. I've been a patient of Valley Dental Care for sometime now, but after today's visit really has me really concerned and rethinking things. I was supposed to have an extraction followed up by graft, but wasn't fully numbed nor were all the areas intended to be numbed received topical resulting in excruciating pain and I got up and walked out. As a former employee, I can honestly say that you should never, ever become a patient at any of the locations. The owners of the practice only care about the money. We (the staff) have had to perform dentistry without materials, the staff were made to clock out if the schedule had holes in it due to patients either cancelling or not showing up and we were forced (by the owner) to perform autoclave maintenance, using a harsh chemical,while patients were in the office. Doing so resulted in patients getting sick. The owners do not care....they just want your money! read more

I am a professional dental patient! I have had more work over the years than I care to think about... honestly I get so anxious even the smell of a dental office makes me cringe. We have a new insurance plan so I had to pick a new dentist. I had a tooth that needs a root canal and it was hurting me so I contacted Valley Dental as they participate in our plan. My first contact with them was the delightful girl who answered the phone and assured me that the dentists there were great and very gentle. She put me at ease with her positive attitude and soothing voice. So I get there, anxious because I know there is a possibility of having to have the tooth pulled... ugh.... been there and done that TOO many times.. I also had a piece of bonding behind a front tooth that needed replaced. I was lucky enough to just by chance be assigned to an amazing dentist named Dr. Kasipathy. Wow. Not only did he explain options, he fixed my bonding up front without the need for numbing. He said lets try it without and if you feel any discomfort just stop me. He also participated in the x rays that they took of the tooth. I was relaxed and felt that I was really in good hands.... literally, he has smaller hands and a gentle touch. I have a small mouth and it sometimes has been really awful with someone with large hands and a rough touch. I have left other offices before with such jaw pain from the rough handling. I will choose Dr. K for all my dental needs from now on. Thanks for making my experience with something that usually causes me great anxiety a wonderful one. Best dental office ever.... read more

Valley Dental is nothing but full of scammers, I go in for a tooth problem, I a heart patient, new the area, don't pay into health care. I have Medicaid. I go in there treated poorly by staff, except the guy that took to the chair, he was nice, well spoken, well groomed, but I could tell he was nervous treating me, when I share my heart transplant story I am a high risk patient, I don't enjoy being treated differently. I was nervous not medicated, been a heart patient all my life, so I know my role, I take meds before appointment. The Dentist very nice and compassionate to my needs. Medicaid allows only so much, for dental care. one free cleaning, which is really sad. But it is what it is, this is our healthcare. Dealing with rude women back behind desk. Medicaid pays for a tooth pull, the original idea was to have a root canal. But that would that would be out of pocket. I didn't really want to have my tooth pulled but I had no choice. I go in, I got a ride because I share a car, Sams cab was late, Valley Dental started calling me telling I am late for the appointment. I was upset already, I took my medicine. I was nervous upset, and the worker behind the desk, shoves this paper in front of me to sign. I sign it with out checking it out thoroughly. I was upset and nervous, can't think straight like that. I get my tooth pulled, In the process of over a year, I get billed by Synchrony bank for over 1000.00 for a root canal. The original thought was to have the root canal. but I don't have money. I deal with SSI, and that not much. I start getting billed for root canal. I call Valley Dental, they are rude and disrespectful. It took countless letters to Synchrony bank to rid this bill. I called Valley Dental quite a few times inquiring if Synchrony bank ever complied. No answers from Valley Dental, I just kept going back to Synchrony Bank, it took me over a year to rid this bill, because Valley Dental is a scam, billing me for a root canal. This is our health care system at work, today tomorrow, don't go here to Valley Dental, they will scam you too!!! read more

This dentist (Jubal Location) is a very poor example of a caregiver and his staff is undertrained and careless. DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE IF YOU WANT PROPER TREATMENT! I decided to switch dentists as my previous is not in network with my insurance. I found VDC in my search online. As soon as I arrived to the office I was thrilled to see they did not have enough masks for the staff and they were using 'all that was left.' Additionally, during my exam I was happily told about the weekend trip down the river drinking the 'hygienist' was going to take. I use the term hygienist loosely as I did not receive a cleaning as was charged to my insurance. I was treated with a 45 second polishing that did not cover all teeth and a fluoride treatment. Upon the dentist arriving I was immediately told that I had 3 cavities that needed filling, which was a surprise since I had not had any deterioration with my previous exams, more surprisingly was the fact that this dentist wanted to fill them immediately. As the hair on the back of my neck began to stand I explained that I did not want any type of drilling that day and would follow up. Then comes my husband's appointment, in which he too was treated to a poor performed "cleaning" and advised 3 fillings needed to be done. Since I had not had time to explain not to get any additional treatment he did so but to his dismay, a small amount of numbing was actually done and he felt every last movement of the drill. My husband also mentioned that I was advised previously that I needed a night guard which the dentist asked hurriedly if I needed to order one, even though at this time he was already done my exam and never mentioned any type of noticeable damage from grinding. I was billed for full cleanings and treatment and went on my way. Since I knew I did not receive full treatment but am not in dental care myself, I decided to follow up with my previous dentist prior to any formal complaints. I am happy/sad? to know that my concerns were valid as I do not have any type of cavity just simple staining that by no means should have been drilled and the dental staff was not happy that I could not have a proper cleaning reimbursed by insurance because I had already been billed for one that I did not receive. I now believe my husband also did not need fillings though he got them as he did not have any cavities for the previous 6 years. read more
