First time home buyer here and Megan was exactly who I needed to make it happen. After doing some…read moreresearch on my own I found the whole home buying process a bit overwhelming. My living situation at the time had become untenable and I really needed this ASAP. At the same time, however, I have a stressful job and adding more stress to my dwindling free time was an agonizing concept. I'm mid forties now and find myself, more and more, growing weary of the world. So naturally, I'd been dragging my feet for months when a friend, somewhat forcefully, referred me to Megan. Still, I managed to procrastinate a few weeks more before being strong-armed into finally reaching out. My only regret, and I don't say this lightly, is not reaching out sooner. Once Megan was at the helm all the chaos in my head became a streamlined process that saw me living in my very own home, start to finish, just over two months later. It could have been even sooner had it not been for my own indecisiveness. Megan's wealth of knowledge and experience, her many connections within the industry, as well as her patience, attentiveness, and empathy were invaluable throughout the process; the latter traits being key for me. From the get go it is apparent that Megan is enthusiastic and motivated while I am, well... not so much. In fact, for me enthusiasm adds to what is already a stressful situation by my perception. The fact that Megan so quickly brought herself down to my level and matched my pace speaks volumes about her awareness and compassion. So if you're excited about the process she undoubtedly will be too, but if you're struggling with the idea of adding a life altering and lengthy process to your already chaotic life, rest assured, she is still the right choice and will see you through. Megan's knowledge and connections proved pivotal as well. She had an answer to every question and prepared me well in advance for all contingencies. Before I found Megan, I had begun seeking pre-approvals through a couple mortgage lenders I thought were good picks. Turns out I had much to learn. Through one of her many contacts I was immediately presented with a substantially better offer by way of a grant. Then, after jumping through the hoops of obtaining a fully underwritten pre-approval, once I saw the final numbers on paper I realized my priorities were skewed and I really needed a lower interest rate over grant money. A rate this lender couldn't provide. With zero frustration or hesitation Megan was ready with another lender that fit my needs. I say 'zero frustration,' but I'd be surprised if there was none. Anyone would be frustrated at a client upending a weeks long process to start at square one. All I noticed was an eagerness to solve the problem. As an aside, that new lender was perfect. Not only did I receive a rate so good the previous lender was a little surprised, Alicia, the new lender was again just a perfect fit for me on a human level. Megan knows good people. Not surprising. When all was said and done and I met Megan at my new home to be handed the keys to my new life, she offered congratulations and words of encouragement in a way that befit my outlook of relief over excitement. Once inside I discovered a thoughtfully arranged array of welcoming gifts. I had previously mentioned how I was a bit of a neat freak and was looking forward to having my own kitchen; that after a long period of costly meal prep services, I'd finally being able to cook again. There were spices and olive oil, various cooking utensils, a cookbook along with cleaning supplies, and even snacks. All things that truly eased my transition as I began shifting my life into new quarters. Such a thoughtful gift from such a considerate person. I feel so much gratitude for my friend who referred me to Megan, for those Megan referred me to, and most of all, for Megan being the professional, compassionate, diligent, and caring human being that she is. Thank you.

The worst experience possible. Where do I even start. I…read moreguess plain and simple, Ana doesn't know much about home loans. First Ana was giving us incredibly inaccurate expectations of loans we could use. She didn't know that loans were different based on a stick built home vs a manufactured home. This is huge change of interest rate from what she has originally quoted us. Next as rates were climbing rapidly, after several percent increases, Ana asked us if we would like to lock in the interest rate. Where is the common sense and common decency? Integrity? She clearly doesn't care about her customers. We found the home. Made the offer. Got accepted. In contact. Our interest rate we locked in at was feeling good but tight. A week before closing Ana realized a huge detail SHE overlooked. We didn't actually qualify for the loan she had us ready to sign. This was after several docusigns had been signed and thousands off dollars had gone into contract. Now we either lose our down payment or are forced into a loan with a higher interest rate by a whole percent more! Ana doesn't know simple math. She tried telling us several times that this monumental mistake she made would only cause a $30 change over the life of the loan it's over $210 per month price difference. I spoke with John the manager and he was nice enough but no help. It's insane to me that a company like this even exists. How can they put their customers in the position of losing so much by mistakes made by their employees and have zero accountability? Save yourself a ton of time, money and headache and go elsewhere.

Bad communication, seemed as if every corner they were trying to force hidden charges to the buyer. BAD experience, lack of communication within their team and the seller...felt like they were only trying to make a buck at our expense (elderly on fixed income) Even the inspectors, repair cos. involved were frustrated with them. So glad we are done with them.
