I visited this location recently, and I had a disappointing experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While a staff member initially assisted me, when the system went down, the manager, Zenaida, stepped in. Their latest scam happened to me a couple days ago and it is genius! I bought several items using their VISA during a single Internet shopping trip. My total was $39.32 with tax and delivery. Star One caused the charge to split; breaking up the purchase into two charges ($28.34 + $10.98). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Soon afterwards, the Security Bot called me and stated it suspected that my charge of $28.34 was bogus and asked me to confirm it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] (No mention was made of the concurrent $10.98 charge). Of course I denied the charge, remembering that my total was $39.32 instead. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My card was now deactivated and I got to scramble to redirect automatic charges.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I suspect that if I okayed the mystery charge, it would appear in addition to my $39.32 so that it can be skimmed. Indeed, both charges (totaling $39.32] later appeared on my bill for payment. I am in awe. read more

With fraud being at an all time high I've had to replace my card twice within 6wks. Their CS departments during business hours and post are consistently patient, polite, and chill. This is the worst place I have ever dealt with. I was pre approved and and then took delivery of my new car. I have had many loans before and have never had to show so much proof of income. At the time they had the lowest rate and I was forced to open an account w/ them in order to get the loan done. Fast forward a bit and when I needed to switch banks I figured since I already had an account I'd use them and it turned out to be a good decision. Friendly service, great phone app and no real issues with them since. The straw that got me to write my review was on Fri night I received a fraud alert text from them and, after confirming I didn't do the transaction, they put a block on my ATM/Debit/Visa card. Next morning I had to call and arrange for a new card and, since I was local, I had the option to pick a new card up *THAT* day! Now that's service! I just hustled over to an open branch (on a Sat mind you) and they were able to print me up a card lickety-split and I was on my way in less than 5min. In the past w/ other CUs I've had to wait over a week for a new card to show up in the mail. Highly recommended if you're a Santa Clara County resident looking for a local bank that has excellent customer service and great rates on loans. read more

I hear their commercials all the time - and my mom had just set up a savings account with them - so I decided to give them a try. I have some money set aside and wanted to put my money in an account that will actually 'work' for me and gain some interest. I walked in - did not do an appointment. I only had to wait about 10 minutes or so, which wasn't bad considering all agents had customers with them. My agent was Zenaida. She was so very pleasant and made the process seamless. I told her what I was looking to do and she told me about the products they offered, and what would work best for what I wanted. Once I gave the green light, she processed the request and got the account set up. BONUS - their referral program!
