We are very very pleased with the quality of work by Valley Patios. We had a 17 x 26' slab and patio cover installed. The installation took place after they demolished and hauled away our old concrete (I took down the old patio before they began work on the demolition). Most importantly, Andy was very responsive to all of our concerns, from the first bid until the project was signed off by the inspector and completed. One thing you'll learn about getting contractors to your home and if you live in the Yucca Valley is that it is not always guaranteed that they will show up, even to give a bid. I have a whole list of things to be done, from outdoor kitchen, concrete pads, paver patio, and patio covers. Decided to do a patio cover and walkway cover first. Called Valley Patio. Tami came out and measured, said it would take a couple of weeks for the estimate. Three weeks later, I called Tami looking for my estimate. She would look for it. A week later, I called still looking for my estimate, she did not know where it was, but said they were so busy, that she suggested I might want to go with one of the other contractors. When I said I did not call any other contractors, she said she will call her estimator. A week later the estimate came in, all wrong. They sent another person out to look at the project, and followed it up with saying they could not do the job. Called another contractor, now in contract to have the project done. $29,000. Short version, save your time, call someone else. read more

Beware - I ordered a specific Alumawood Patio cover and Valley never ordered the materials. When I checked on the project, they gave me BS answers and tried to talk me into another product. When I insisted on what was originally quoted- they declined the job. This is after they got my deposit and cashed my check. They came in low and tried to substitute something I did not want because it was less costly to them. They also tried to up charge me after the original quote. I believe they are complete SCAMMERS. The motorized screen enclosure for our patio wasn't in our budget for our new home but as it turned out it was the best investment we made. The enclosure is very well made and the colors Travis suggested matched the colors of the home. I liked the Ranier Shade as it is made here in the US. Travis did the installation perfectly. His install included a new outlet to power the shade. He installed with no visible wires. We have had this product for a year now and are completely satisfied. I have been wanting to put in a aluminum patio cover and concrete decking for some time now. I googled patio covers and Valley Patios came up first. I noticed that they were a ca licensed contractor with several licenses to there company, two in which were concrete and metal. I even went as far as to look them up on cslb website. I have been burned before and I recommend all homeowners to check out a contractor before hiring. The website www.cslb.org is a good place to start and should there be red flags there be aware. See if the names on Licensee add up, bonds are current, license is current etcccc. Please dont forget to ask the potential company your thinking about hiring about warranty info, guarantees, specifics about the job itself. After all this I called Valley Patios and setup an appt for an estimate. I was impressed upon meeting with Andy , first that he showed on time ,second that he was dressed in a shirt which proudly displayed his company logo ( i believe if u have a business. be proud to represent no matter how big or small it is) third that he came prepared with all necessary samples and or measuring materials. Finally the most epic part of the estimate, he did not give me a ballpark or guess or idea or flat number to do the work on the spot. He told me that he would have the estimate properly prepared and emailed in writing within 48 hrs. Andy did exactly what he promised, he return the estimate with the entire scope of work and a price to do it too! I have since moved forward and hired Valley Patios with the work and will keep you all posted in the weeks to come. read more

Decent experience with installers. Management is so so. I had them install a patio for me at my home in big horn. Cost me about 35k but was cheaper then other bids I have. Timely process from fab to install. Over all experience is good. read more

Andy and his crew are finishing up their second project at my house (only things left are pressure wash and seal stamped concrete). First was a concrete walkway along the side and this second one is a full tear down/rebuild of my patio (concrete, cinder block table, patio cover torn out with new concrete poured and an Alumawood cover installed). Both projects have gone very well and Andy is always on top of what's going on and making sure any issues that arise are sorted out. I'm not sure what Bob W.'s issue is... I verified the licensing for Valley Patios, it's all kosher and everything has gone well (perhaps he's thinking of another company or he's a competitor?). I plan to give any future projects at my house to these guys. Thumbs up. Edit: I forgot to say that Andy's bid for the concrete was $500 less than the next closest bid I'd received, and it's beautifully done. I didn't bother getting a second bid for the tear down/rebuild of the patio, so I can't comment on the pricing of that portion. read more

Bad installation, didn't attach flashing to cover, didn't put caps on open ends, multiple leaks where attached to house and throughout gutter. Installers focus more on their cell phones then what they are doing. Overheard many conversations with family members during the entire install. Been out now 3 times to fix the same issues and had to make multiple phone calls to get them to come back out. read more

We just had Valley Patios install a new Aluminum Patio Deck in our back yard and they were wonderful. From the receptionist, Salesperson (Tami), Installers, painters and electricians it was the most professional work we have had accomplished on the 6 houses we have owned over the past 45 years. Andy and his installation team couldn't be more attentive to our needs and special requests. They got the City permits, submitted the plans to our HOA and kept us informed every step of the way. When Andy told us his guys would show up at a certain time they were there working at that time.
