I have a 2022 Ram ProMaster 3500 Tellaro Class B motorhome, and I quickly learned that finding an RV repair shop that is affordable, reliable, honest, and knowledgeable is not easy. I took my RV to Allied to have the coach batteries relocated from underneath the chassis, where they were exposed to the elements, to inside the van under the bed. I was concerned about having the job done correctly because the existing wiring looked like spaghetti. Not only did Allied do an excellent job relocating the batteries and cleaning everything up, they discovered an issue that was preventing my second alternator from properly charging the coach batteries. They diagnosed the problem, repaired it, and got everything working the way it should. The real test came afterward. I drove the van through California, Nevada, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming, and then all the way back to Sacramento. The system worked flawlessly the entire trip. After that experience, nobody will work on my motorhome except Allied if I can help it. They were knowledgeable, efficient, honest, and did the job right. Not friendly or helpful. I call to ask if they have something I'm looking for regarding trailer upholstery. They tell me to come in and talk to them since over the phone is difficult. I go in and the guy behind the counter has zero interest in helping with that. He said "Pull out yer phone and look for upholstery places". I ask since he's in the business if he had anyone to recommend, which was met with a "no". Ok, so I ask about axles because I need a new one. He said he can't do anything for me without exact measurements. So glad I drove all the way there to be told the same thing over the phone. On September 25, 2025, I brought my Imagine travel trailer to Allied for several repairs -- a loose kitchen sink faucet, a non-working left turn signal, and a hot water heater that wasn't working. I was given an estimate of three hours of labor plus parts, which I agreed to. At $179 per hour, I thought the rate was a bit high, but the shop completed the work. On my first camping trip a few weeks later, however, the same problems with the water heater and left turn signal returned. The faucet repair was fine and has worked without issue. I called Allied to let them know, and they asked me to bring the trailer back in. I returned it on October 15, 2025, so they could recheck their previous repairs. A couple of weeks later, I called and was told it was ready for pickup. When I arrived, I was told to pay another $378. The second invoice listed repairs for the same issues -- the left turn signal (a loose wire and a $0.99 bulb) and the water heater (one additional hour of labor and an $18 part). After a reasonable discussion, they agreed to remove one hour of labor ($179) from the bill. Still, I don't understand why they needed to diagnose the water heater again for the same issue that was supposedly repaired the first time. It feels like I was charged twice for work that should have been covered under the original service. While the staff was polite and did make an adjustment, I expected more accountability and consistency given the high hourly rate. I hope Allied reviews their repair process and warranty practices to ensure customers receive lasting repairs the first time. read more

Warning to future customers I brought my truck to Allied Trailer service department because the trailer brake wiring wasn't working. They told me I needed a complete rewire of the trailer plug and quoted me $1,300. I also explained that I was trying to head out camping that same day, and instead of helping, they turned me away. The truth? The problem could have been fixed in about 20 minutes. Thankfully, I got a second opinion. Another shop immediately found the real issue -- a single torn wire rubbing against the frame -- and repaired it on the spot for just $100. This shows that Allied Trailer service department attempted to sell me an unnecessary and overpriced repair while providing zero consideration for customer service. In my opinion, they care more about money than helping their customers. I will never return, and I strongly urge others to think twice before bringing their business here read more

These guys are amazing. My spring blew on the freeway on my trailer. They were extremely helpful and supportive from the moment they answered the phone. I managed to get over here and they had everything I needed and recommended me some other parts that worked out great. Ask for Kelly or Ronald both of these gentlemen are exceptional at what they do. Here we sit, one year after we had several things "repaired" by Allied trailer supply. Two of them, failed one week after the repairs were made and I had to return to have those repairs repaired. The other two repairs lasted one season, and as she sits, all four repairs have now failed. (Again) Never will I trust their repair shop ever again. I've used Allied Trailer Supply for parts and service for decades and have always been happy with them. Now that they have new owners, things have gone seriously downhill. I will never use Allied Trailer Service again. Time estimates to complete repairs are ridiculous and at $179 per hour, their pricing is outrageous. They charged me 1/2 hour for a 5 minute job and argued that they have a minimum of 1/2 hour per task. If you are having them do multiple small tasks it makes no sense to charge a minimum for each task. I took my rig in assuming that I would get an estimate for the repairs. When I got the estimate a week later, I told them not to do the work and I would be in to pick up my rig. When I got there they had done $763 in repairs that I did not approve. They tried to explain that I had approved two of the four items listed on the repair order and that they were only giving me a estimate for the other two. This was very shady! Suffice to say that I highly recommend that you avoid Allied Trailer Service! read more

Good to have a local trailer supply store that has a lot of parts and maintenance items available. I am usually ordered most of the parts I needed online and have to wait for a few days to a few weeks before the packages show up. But believe it or not! Allied Trailer Supply may have it in stock and cost less than mail order. The store is not very organized, looks old, but very clean and excellent customer service. The workers are very nice and helpful. They'll answer all your questions and give you the information you need for your projects or repair. I have found many items here cheaper than the other store or even online. Also, I can get it right away! Support a local business, pay less money, and receive the items now! Me and my wife bought a used family rv trailer to take camping and needed some fixes and upgrades done. There were a few pieces that had to do with the fresh water tank that I did not know how to repair. I took pictures and the guys were very helpful. Everyone here has a great attitude, is very knowledgeable and friendly. They don't try to upsell you on anything, but they will suggest things you might need depending on your situation without making you feel pressured to buy stuff. This is an old school type store where you can ask a question and get answers. What they don't have in store they can order. So far they've been able to supply everything I needed. Great store, great employees, great attitudes. In the day and age of Amazon, things may be a few bucks more here at this store but it is well worth it for the service you get here. Seems like this place has had its ups and downs with various owner/management. I can't speak of the past but my current experience with them was excellent. Small company with great knowledge and friendly staff. Get that personal service few places have anymore. Keep in mind that the service department is in a different building a bit further down the street from the parts building. Now that it's under new ownership, this business is much better. We went in to buy a new cover for the vent of our storage trailer that got ripped off during the storms, when we went to attach the part it was way too big & we had lost the receipt. Went back in hoping we could return it & exchange for the right size, he helped us immediately find the right size & let us exchange it right there, also tried to help us find the correct back light for it but unfortunately didn't carry it, had us on our way in 10 min. THEY ARE UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP. I did not know this when I went in. If you trusted them in the past, don't trust them now. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GO HERE. I brought back my trailer because they had not fixed it the first time. My heater would not turn on. They fixed it so the heater came on but when I went to use it on a trip it only blew ice cold air. It was 30 degrees out and I had a very cold couple nights. Got home and parked it. It was awhile before I got it back in and they are treating it as a whole new problem after they did not fix it right to begin with. Called me with an outrageous price. The "service manager" Brad worked with me and agreed with a still way to high amount, but said he would talk to owner and see if they could help more. Then he called me back and said he will not "honor" (a concept they do not understand) that agreed price and wont the higher price. So now they have my trailer as a hostage. The store had solid service, but AVOID the connected repair facility! Several issues that they claimed to have fixed (and charged me for) were not. They said the slides were "in good working order" but there were still floppy cables. To make matters worse, there was a small electrical panel cover in the battery compartment that they forgot to put back on. When I called, they said the cover was probably still in the shop. I called again, and they referred me to the manager who would not call me back. Now I have exposed wires and circuit boards that are exposed to water and dirt because I can't find a replacement part. I shall come to this place to fix my trailers. One time for some reason my truck didn't have any brakes on the trailer. So I went to the place and I asked the guy what was the problem. The guy gave me an answer right on the spot. He said that I need to install This particular sensor to my truck. We scheduled appointment and the worker literally install the sensor in one hour and I was ready to go. My trailer had brakes and that was very helpful. If you have your trailer that is acting up all your bearings that needs to be adjusted or anything they need to get done with your trailer or RV I would highly suggest you do you visit this place and check out what they got. The store is great but avoid the associated repair shop. Dave said he'd get back to me about a part I dropped off the next day, wouldn't return calls for a week then hadn't looked at it when I stopped by at the end of the week. When I confronted him about it he lied about what he said he'd do. Maybe he does good work, but I wouldn't know. My advice to the shop is to hire someone to work the front that can better deal with customers and return phone calls. Communication works if you try. Do not use Allied Trailer Supply Service Department. We were completely taken advantage of by the service department. We were charged $929.00 for a systems check and installing backing plates for our brakes. They didn't even change the brake pads or turn our replace the hubs. We are taking it to another repair facility to ensure the brakes are safe before using our unit. We gave them a thourough list of what we needed fixed and they chose to only address a few of the items. They installed led light bulbs in our ceiling lights, put leveling bubbles on the front corner of the unit, intalled a new emergency brake switch for the trailer the little switch up by the tounge, they installed a new heater thermostat that is open from the top, I need to go on line to see if all the parts to it are complete,they installed the new door latch that we provided for them and didn't even adjust it, the door wouldn't open and had to be fixed right away. They fixed one of our front running lights. Oh they didn't even offer to review the repairs with us on the unit we had to make a big deal about it. This is when we discovered they didn't repair the refrigerator igniter. There technician went and got a long stem lighter and told us to light it through the pilot light hole. He fooled around with lighting it and my wife got upset telling him how do you expect me to be able to do that when you are having such a hard time and can't even see if it's lit. He had to shine a flash light in the hole to assure it was lit. Oh then I asked him and another technician that showed up to help him install a new igniter, if the refrigerator was cooling properly.They both told me that it worked great. I asked them how do you know, what temperature did the refrigerator get down to? They said oh we just opened the door and felt the inside wall of the refrigerator and it was cool. They also told me it takes at least 24 hours for the refer to get cold. They had the unit for 4 or 5 days by the way. (doesn't any body go on line and check cooling time before making a statement like that ? ( this should have been done during the system check not while we are standing around wasting or time, which by the way they value their time at $95.00 per hour plus x 2 or 3 obviously by the bill. But it's ok to waste my wife's and my time while they are trying to fix things that should have already been done. So it has been a major disappointment If you need to get your unit ready for the camping season don't take it to Allied Trailer Supply & Service. You'll get burned ...... I'm only giving them one star because I have to. Other wise they would get minus ten stars and that's probably not enough. read more

Our Toyota SunRaider needed a fresh water pump and/or a furnace, which would have probably been at least $1000 to do both after parts and labor. Allied treated us very well, repaired it right (affordably), and FAST! When I called, they were booked heavy into February, but after I explained our time-sensitive situation, they squeezed us into their schedule, saying they still wouldn't be able to touch it until Wednesday. However, they called us two days early on Monday, and it was not only done sooner than expected, but it was also far less costly than we anticipated. (Double winner!!) We rushed up to Sacramento to pick up the rig, and they got us out the door at well under half the amount we expected to pay. Turns out, the furnace only needed servicing, not total replacement! In addition, the manager even came outside and answered a few questions forus after we had paid. I really appreciated his attention to detail, patience, and generosity in sharing his time with us even after concluding business. (It reminded me the of the way my dad treats his customers at our auto repair shop in the Midwest.) I felt good about Allied Service from the moment we left them the rig and even better after leaving. After having mixed results with other RV/auto repair in California, this restored my confidence in honest, affordable, quality work. Definitely a 5-star experience!!! read more
