Came here because SimonMed imaging randomly changed my appointment without my consent twice. So decided to switch to give this place a try. The entrance is at the back of the building. The waiting room is spacious. It seems pretty busy and had to wait in line to be checked-in. After you are brought inside, the technician is very nice and double-checked the paperwork. The imaging process is good and technician is nice. One of them even caught a minor paperwork issue and went back to the front desk to have it corrected. For the front desk, service quality isn't consistent and depends on who you get. Vianey is very helpful and knowledgeable. I asked for the X-ray report to be mailed to me and she was able to help me with that. However, when I came another time for MRI and asked for the MRI report to be mailed to me, another lady told me they no longer do it and told me it hasn't been done for a few year. She just tried to brush me off and give me a bunch of BS that they don't do do it anymore. Too bad I didn't get her name (she is Caucasian, has long no light color hair and skinny). Either she's super lazy or she wasn't trained properly. Even if she doesn't know, she could have asked her colleagues. I told her Vianey helped me with such request before and she didn't bother asking others or Vianey at all. Removing a couple stars for her bad attitude. My experience with Valley radiology was a good one through and through. I initially called them after seeing my doctor. They got my doctor orders within an hour and contacted my insurance company. One day later after receiving the go-ahead from my insurance company Valley radiology called me back and made an appointment. They sent me a pre-registration form via email and text., when I came in today from my 1pm appointment; they brought me to the back room at 1pm for my MRI. I arrived today for my scheduled 3:30 PM appointment. When I spoke with the receptionist, Vianay, I was told that my appointment had been canceled because I was late. I immediately checked my phone, and it was exactly 3:35 PM--only five minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I asked Vianay what the facility's late-arrival policy was, and she confirmed that they have a 15-minute late policy. Given that information, I was extremely disappointed and confused as to why Ashley, the technician assigned to my appointment, refused to see me when I was only five minutes late and still within the stated 15-minute window. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the facility had contacted me twice that same day. Around 11:00 AM, I received a call asking whether I could move my appointment to an earlier time. I explained that I could not and confirmed that I would keep my scheduled 3:30 PM appointment. Then, around 3:00 PM, they called again to ask whether I was still coming. I told them I was on my way and was driving to the appointment. I understand that medical facilities need policies regarding late arrivals, and I respect that. However, if the stated policy allows a 15-minute grace period, I believe it should be applied consistently. Turning a patient away for arriving five minutes late--especially after speaking with that patient shortly beforehand and knowing she was on her way--felt dismissive and unprofessional. I was also disappointed that there did not appear to be a manager or supervisor available on the weekend to address the situation. I hope management reviews what happened and ensures that staff members consistently follow the facility's stated policies. So grateful for Sunnyvale Radiology for staying open late on a Saturday and Valentine's Day no less to see me. My dr suspected that I had blew my achilles and was trying to get me into a MRI ASAP to understand how bad it was and make sure surgery was on the table. I'm a really active person and injuring my achilles has been such a mental blow. Having drs and medical staff go the extra mile has made this period of time has made thing so much more bearable. Super thankful to Mike and the lovely receptionist (so sorry I didn't ask you for your name) for being so kind and warm to me during a really challenging time in my life. You have no idea how much of a difference its made. Facility canceled my May 9, 2026 MRI appointment on the same day. Reason: No available technician. Technician was sick. On May 18, I was re-scheduled for June 3 at 4:20 pm. Today, May 25, I was informed by their call center that there's no available technician AGAIN on June 3 !!! I asked to talk to the manager of the facility but call center told me that they're closed for the holiday. Why do they schedule appointments on a day with NO TECHNICIANS??? read more

Good place for your imaging tests. Office staff and clinical staff were efficient and professional When you make your appointment, the clerk tells you to arrive 20 minutes early. Be sure to do this! The clinic can be busy and sometimes there's a line. You need to check in, provide your if and insurance cards, fill in a couple of forms. By getting there early, you'll be all ready when it's time for your appointment The clinician was right on time, very polite and professional. I got an ultrasound scheduled here and they have Saturday appointments which is great for my schedule. Slight 5-10 min delay of my appointment even though I arrived early. However, the exam still ended on time approx 30 minutes after my appointment time. My ultrasound technician was very nice and gracious which made for a great experience. This place is disgusting. I have been here many times before with my current insurance, but when I arrived today, they said "We can't see your name in our network, so you have to pay full price without insurance coverage." I asked them to call their insurance coverage office, but they said that office was to busy to take phone calls. They can only send them emails. Finally, I had to call up my insurance company, hand my cell phone to the front desk person, and then let them hash it out. Any lab that can't be bothered to have a live conversation with its own insurance processing people is disgusting. read more

This place is fantastic--it has super high volume but the best prices in the Valley. It has all the glamour of a bus station--tons of people going in and out. But the portal is good, my reports have been on time, and scheduling lead times are fine. I started using them as a self-pay uninsured patient and truly appreciated the cost savings. I'm now on Medicare with a very low co-pay, but why should that matter? I had no idea how much variation there was in medical service costs between providers (sometimes 5X between high and low). We should all patronize services that provide efficient, low-cost services, even if the volume causes minor inconveniences. read more

I had a CT calcium score test done at this location. I had specifically requested a comparison with a prior report from 10 years ago, which was inconclusive due to noisy images. The previous radiologist had recommended a higher dose scan due to this issue and had assigned a non-0 score in an area that he wasn't sure was noise or not. I did not have the images but uploaded the report and requested the radiologist to pay attention to that area and give me his take on new vs old findings. They did nothing like this, did not mention any of the open questions from the last report, did not mention the exact imaging protocol used and whether the images were still noisy or not, and refused to even look at the previous report unless they had a copy of the actual scans (which I didn't have). Both my doctor and I called to follow up on this, on separate occasions, and both of us were stonewalled and told they would not comment unless they have the full scans. All I asked for was for the radiologist to read a 1-page report and write his report contextualizing the previous inconclusive findings due to noisy imaging. The front desk personnel refused to follow up with the radiologist about this, and kept repeating "this is our protocol", everything else be damned... Unbelievable bureaucracy and lack of understanding for someone working in a medical profession. read more

The Imaging and MRI service was very good. They took care of patient well on-site. However, they overcharged me ~200$. I called again and again to try to get that back. Just about 3 minutes ago, I tried to call again and got hung up with someone picking up the phone and saying that it's not a convenient time (no recorded message) PS. After a length phone call and three different online form completion, I was finally rewarded an appointment with this office for 2:15 PM, Thursday 9/4 because my physician recommended to do the mammogram test with this company 2. I showed up 15 minutes earlier at the wait room and was called in around 2:30 PM: the technician (a tall African American woman) walked me toward the exam room: in the hallway, she said we needed to cancel your appointment because we did not have all of your past records. She claimed that they just noticed that one report appears to be missing. I asked how long normally it would take to follow up with the other radiology center to get the missing report. She said probably 24 hours. Then I asked if I could schedule an appointment for the end of the month (25 days later) since it is very hard to get an appointment with this location. She told me the front desk could help. 3. I went back to the front desk for help: the front desk said it is against their company policy to schedule any appointment when any of the past history report or record is missing. They dismissed me. 4. I waited for 3 business days and called them around 12:30 PM, 9/9 to try to set up an appointment: After 30 minutes call discussion with them, I was told: they did everything they could and I should drive to Palo Alto Medical Foundation radiology department to get my own medical records and deliver such an information to them in person. They also informed me it was a standard procedure, which they forgot to mention to me in the past. They also provided me with their fax number and claimed they ONLY want to receive information via FAX. No other method would be accepted. 5. I then called the Palo Alto Medical Foundation to verify the process: they informed me they had already transferred all records to Valley Radiology (Sunnyvale location). They welcome me to request the same information in person but they don't think it is necessary. Additionally, they told me they NEVER faxed patients' images via fax machine, it was unheard of. 6. I called my physician office and explained that it is impossible to schedule an appointment with Valley Radiology as they keeps requesting me to get the missing report before I could schedule an appointment. My doctor's office called Valley Radiology immediately and 30 minutes later, Valley Radiology called me and said everything was fine and they have got all the information of my past medical record from Palo Alto Medial Foundation so that I could set up an appointment with them now. 7. I was terrified to visit Valley Radiology Sunnyvale location so I requested an appointment with their San Jose location Cross fingers and hope my appointment with their San Jose location will be a normal (uneventful) experience! If you can stay away from Valley Radiology Sunnyvale location, do so because they lied in so many ways and they are very rude. read more

Been here for ultrasound,MRI & xrays many times. -Xray are first come first serve. They get booked really fast. So if you have one make sure to come early and get it done. - never get late. Show up 30min early. Or risk losing appointment slot. - counter will tell you upfront if there is anything out of pocket you have to pay. -Get a doctor order first before coming onsite. - getting appointments was easy ( disreg the negative comments) they did call me and got several text reminders - online portal with imaging is helpful reference. - the CD rom copy they will give sometimes may not have anything on it ( by mistake) Double check if it write on it correctly. read more

After seeing urgent care for my husband's foot injury, we were referred here to get an X-ray done. Large parking lot. Large waiting area in the lobby. 4 counters with receptionists to help check folks in. Apparently you can walk in to do X-rays here without a referral. We waited no more than ten minutes before my husband and I were called back to get his foot scanned. The radiologist said I'm welcome to sit outside the room and wait. Confused, I inquired if I wasn't allowed to go in with him, and she gently pointed out that there's a lot of X-rays which wouldn't be good for my (apparently forgotten) very pregnant self. Within two minutes, he was done and we left. Super quick, super friendly, and professional. And an extra huge shout-out to radiologist Kelly who was looking out for me and my baby even when I was too absent minded to think for myself. Downside: they have yet to relay the results to our referring physician and it's been nearly a full business day. They're nearly closed for the day and we're not hopeful we'll get an update by today. This place has horrible front desk service. The lady who helped me was unfriendly. She was rude to everyone. The technician was nice. I didn't get their names. To be honest, if my doctor didn't refer me here, I would have chosen a more professional place, closer to home. On top of that, I paid the copayment that was covered by my secondary insurance. They were supposed to reimburse me. I wrote and called. They never responded. Do not go here. There are so many other places that are better and nicer. read more
