Horrible Company to work with! Came to my house last year to repair water damage from roof and did not finish the job, called and texted Angel several times with No Response! A year later, same leak. Called and Angel came back out to look with roof company and said he could not find anything wrong. I had my own roofing company out and they showed me exactly where it needs repaired. Off the charts - ALL staff is professional, competent, and friendly. We had part of our ceiling collapse after a significant storm. Another company, who was sent by our insurance company, came out and did the initial clean-up. They also did an assessment on the problems with the roof. That assessment just didn't make sense to me. The insurance company sent a person out to look at the roof. His assessment didn't make sense to me either. I called Valley Services and was blown away by the professional office staff. We set up an appointment for an assessment. And finally someone who could explain a theory of how the water traveled into the part of the house where the ceiling collapsed. We selected Valley and a work order was created... oh and it was written in a way that I could actually understand it as opposed to the "foreign" language of the other estimates. The project manager came out and reviewed the work order with me line by line, scheduled the work, and followed up. All the work was done right the first time and the project manager check-in continuously. Oh and all the staff and workers showed up on time and did exactly what they agreed to do. I really cannot say enough good thing about this company. It was a pleasure working with them. read more

One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with...I have been in restoration since the beginning of August, they have utilized my personal Vacuum, Cracked my granite counter tops, and they've been extremely careless. And at the time that they said it was clear to go In., I went and there was a major flood in my kitchen and had a severe reaction to the mold.. There work Is humiliating, never found a company that is careless as they were. Please do not use this company. They work with insurance companies and only care about receiving big money to complete a terrible job. My condo was hit by a palm tree last year during the monsoon season, July 30, 2018. The tree fell through the bedroom window. This was on the news. This company still has not completed the job. I'm glad that the other reviewers had good experiences with this company, but, unfortunately, my wife and I did not. In 2014, my insurance company recommended Valley Services to address a water leak that had ruined both my shower and adjacent bathtub. At the time, the rebuild of the shower and repair of the tub seemed to go by uneventfully, so my wife and I went back to using our bathroom as normal. Five short years later, we have another disaster on our hands. Both the shower and tub are leaking, with the five-year old cultured marble shower pan coming apart. Earlier this year, when we realized that we could hear water under the shower pan, we called out another restoration company--definitely not Valley Services--to take a look. The tech showed us that water had traveled under the bathroom tile, plus he found water in the wall by the bathtub. It took a week with a dehumidifier and fan to dry everything out. After the drying was completed, the tech addressed the mold that could be accessed. Now, we will need to rip out the shower, and then the tub surround, to see what's going on under and behind them. Painfully, for us, our insurance won't pay this time because they don't cover faulty workmanship. I know that poor workmanship is a bold claim, and I would gladly share Valley Services' side of the story, but I can't, as haven't seen anyone from the organization. Our insurance company claims representative did contact Valley Services, which, in turn, called me and told me that things would be made right. My wife and I were briefly impressed that the company was going to stand behind the work. Then, five days later, right before the VS representative was supposed to come out to look at our bathroom, he called and cancelled because he had done some research and found out that we were no longer under warranty. Why didn't he do that before he called us in the first place and got our hopes up? We knew that the warranty was only three years, but clearly, no one remodels a shower with the expectation of it only lasting three years, so we had hoped for some integrity. So, expensive lesson learned. All because of poor workmanship/parts, we now have to pay for a bathroom restoration ourselves, on top of the expense we already incurred to dry out the bathroom. When you have a disaster, do your homework and don't just use the restoration company that your insurer recommends. read more

During the hard freeze of January 2013, a pipe in my mom's bathroom ceiling burst, leaving a gigantic, wet mess and a very freaked-out 70-something lady! Her insurance company helped to connect her with a restoration contractor that came in to dry the walls and ceiling. Unfortunately, that contractor bowed out mid-job, leaving intact the asbestos tiled bathroom floor that still needed removal and required testing, eight huge holes in the walls & ceiling, no insulation in the attic, and the need for an entire paint job. Luckily, Valley Fire and Water Restorations picked up the pieces of the first contractor to finish the job in a very organized & efficient manner and did it all in one week, very well planned. No time wasted. Three weeks later my mom received a call from Valley's production supervisor, wanting to do a follow up "walk-through" to check that everything was done right. The supervisor, Donny, came to the house the same day. Finding some minor peeling in the paint he then contacted the painters who fixed the problem. Talk about great customer service and follow-through! The final testament to Valley's accountability and customer service came over two months later when my mom noticed a little peeling paint on the walls of a nearby linen closet. She took her chances and called Donny, who came out, saw the problem, again called the painters, who primed and and repainted those walls shortly thereafter. The two instances of peeling paint were negligible and most probably due to inadequate drying by the first contractor. My mom is one tough cookie who does not tolerate nonsense. Valley gained a loyal fan. Their stellar professionalism was clearly evident in the organized restoration work as well as in the excellent customer service and follow up they did for my mom. I will highly recommend Valley to anyone in need of restoration work! read more

Great company to call on for any emergency! In one of the most aggrivating times in our lives the women in the office were so much help regarding any questions! And our repairs were handled rather quickly! I was actually very surprised as to how fast they handled our home and the quality of work! Valley services of Arizona was called for roofing and ceiling repairs, an inspector from the company came out on 1/17/22 and summary of coverage to insurance company was sent. Valley Services of Arizona also requested that my solar panels be removed to start the job, as requested the solar panels were removed in anticipation of completion of the work. After approval from insurance company for coverage, an authorization for repair selecting Valley Services of Arizona was signed 3/15/22. A deductible of $1000.00 was paid on 3/22/22. Project Manager, Angel, had also completed a second inspection of the home to start the project but the project never started despite signing the contract and giving a $1000 deductible. I tried communicating with Angel numerous times on the start date of the project but he was unable to ever provide a start date, stating that Valley Services of Arizona doesn't directly complete roofing repairs and they instead subcontract that out to another company to complete the work. When asked when the roofing company would come by for start of the job, Angel was unable to provide information, instead he would give an estimated time frame which came and passed and the roofing company never came out. When I expressed my concern and frustration over lack of communication of actual roofing inspection and start date Angel again didn't try to ease my concerns or prioritize getting someone out to start the job, instead he showed lack of interest in the work and when customer expressed maybe we should just part ways and return my deposit, he quickly stated that was fine and he would let management know and cancel the job. Because of the extended amount of time that had already passed by with zero work being done on my home for repairs, I decided to call the company and request a return of deductible and cancel the job, I also requested to speak with management to express all concerns with no callback or deposit returned when promised, as of 4/8/22. This company and the project manager showed complete unprofessionalism, they obviously don't really care about completing jobs and just want to take your deposit money! Please avoid this company and hire someone who actually cares about the quality and integrity of their work! read more

Valley Services was one the list of preferred companies from our insurance company, so we scheduled a walk through with Ryan and felt very confident in his skills and his ability to assist us with this devastating time of our life. Soon after, there has been many delays in the project, employees over spraying when it was agreed that it would be rolled and damaged to our belongings. A broken window when removing custom blinds. The scheduled sign off on cabinets never happened, we have been on site to find contractors dumping food, and contents from the paint dumped in our side yard. To date, the cabinet install is not correct. We reached out to the project manager and Bob and he confirmed, it was not correct and the crack in the cabinets near the garage is another issue. I was told by Ryun that the extra funds for example: if we were given $400.00 for a sink and we purchased one at $200.00 we were not allowed to use those funds elsewhere. He was instructed by Travelers that we are in fact allowed to use those funds towards other purchases. It is not only unfortunate for people like us that have a first time tragedy but to then have a company take advantage of our inexperience. read more
