Be aware of using this company for your insurance repairs. A fix of an upstairs bathroom took 8 months to be completed. The causes of the extended timeframe was due to multiple factors. In-fighting: estimator and project manager (Darly and Sonia) not working together, blaming each other and telling the customer it's the other persons fault. The customer having to talk to each, then having to escalate to the owners. The owners not managing their employees (Jim Tax and Christina Tax). Estimating things higher then reasonable: for all estimate and change orders the insurance company not approving the first submission and ultimately the estimate being re-done for a lower price. Double charges in the estimate. Charged for take down of a shower glass, and later charging for the same take down of shower glass in a change order to replace. Trying to maximize their profits and thinking the insurance not noticing which in turn is an extended timeframe for the customer. All change order having to be paid upfront before they do any work regardless on the amount. This is not a Servpro policy, it is this Gilbert franchise policy. I had to pay more than half of the overall project cost before they did one pice of new work besides the demo. The sub contractors took for ever. The tile person worked an average of 5-6 hours a day. Be careful read this! There was a leak in my bathroom which cause the flood problem. This leak was in the wall behind the sink and the toilet. The insurance company sent a plumber to fix the leak, then They sent Servpro to put vents to dry the wall. After that They told me that They need to cut 3 feet from the floor and up. They took and broke the cabinets off the kitchen. Also, they took out the sink. They start cutting the wall that was in front of the original damage. I don't know why? They should only cut the affected area. However, they found Mold in front of the damage area and told the insurance that that the problem wasn't cause for the leak. Of course, the leak was in the other side. The insurance company denied my claim because Servpro did a bad diagnostic of the problem. The next day they came and left my house with holes in the wall. The cabinets broken and without the sink. My house is a mess and They told me that I need to fix it myself even though They destroyed everything. This is not fair. When I had a water damage issue in our home, the name Servpro came to mind. I called them and asked for help. A short time later Julie Zamora showed up and quickly assessed the situation. WORST COMPANY EVER! They purported to "remediate" my house after the 2025 Pacific Palisades fire. They destroyed or lost many personal items, broke the motor of a bathroom skylight (Cost $2600 to repair), ruined uphostered furniture and created substantial damage of all kinds for which they refused to reimburse. They charged State Farm Insurance $172k (which charge was disputed by State Farm) for the same services other local L.A. based Servpro franchises do for 1/3 of the cost. They advised State Farm that they installed insulation in the attic ( for which they charged State Farm $11,000 ) which they did not do becaues they are not licensed in California. They did not clean any of the personal items they purported to clean and placed all items in large trash bags scattered randomly throughout the house. It took weeks to clean and place the items back where they came from. They refused to remedy or pay for any of the damage that they caused. THIS COMPANY IS A DISASTER! UPDATE: They never apologized for the damage they did to our bathroom and also our health (I'm disabled and my mother is 80 and recently had a stroke and this has maxed us out). They DID demand $II50.00 for - damaging our bathroom? I'd say that makes their bottom line pretty clear. As to their response: The "exposed asbestos wall" had been encased in plastic and also was tested after the drywall was cut by a home inspector and given the all clear. Your company insisted on painting it anyway. I do not remember calling 8 times in 2 hours. However, if you don't want your customers to bother you, use machines that don't panic them by flooding or stinking up their house. They used a leaky dehumidifier that caused more destruction/flooding. When I called at 6 a.m. to let them know, this 24 hour service co. didn't come out until 4 p.m. Meanwhile, their machine was leaking gallons of water into our home. They admitted it was leaking then tried to deny it. I took videos of it actively leaking. They brought in another dehumidifier and it had a burning smell that stank up the house. Someone said it was probably a bad motor or cord. Do they have anything that works? They also assigned a "manager", Jose, who wasn't available because he was taking classes. Why would they assign someone who's not available? The day it started leaking they sent a guy who said he's new and has no idea what he's doing. I do not believe one good review on here. June 17, 2022 a microburst tore through our neighborhood and after less than one minute much damage ensued. Among other things, our roof sustained damage and our bedroom window was broken out. June 30, 2022 ServPro North Chandler did an amazing and thorough clean up of glass, debris and broken roof tiles from our yard. Servpro saved our butts! The Saturday after thanksgiving 2020 our upstairs toilet got clogged with the handle turned down. Water was coming they the ceiling fans downstairs. My hub called and they were there within the hour. Pulling up carpet, tearing out drywall and leaving air scrubber's. I know most only would only use this company in an emergency like I did. The service was average they left a mess in our basement and spent a few hours doing it. They left fans and a dehumidifier for several days but really only did work the first day. The issue I have with them is several months after the service I get a voicemail threatening to send me to collections. The company never sent one bill or one call saying there was an issue with the insurance. If they had simply called I could have taken care of it but instead they threaten me with collections after never giving me any chance to pay. I asked for an invoice which they sent with the wrong insurance company. I paid the invoice but 2700 for the amount of time and the quality of the work was way overpriced read more

New Year's Day came in with a bang! A leak in the roof caused the ceiling in our master bedroom to collapse. Santi was there the next day (Monday) He removed the debris, took all measurements, set up a de-humidifier, explained every procedure and answered all my questions. Professional, respectful and re-assuring. The following day, accompanied by his co-worker Josa, the two of them worked like hand and glove, removing all the damaged material. Used ServPro as recommended by our insurance for some water damage caused by our kitchen sink to the cabinets underneath. Literally every employee that came out to our home, beside one, was amazing. First Julieta was communicative, on time, respectful, and caring. She helped us understand the initial process. Her helpers were always kind as well. Then we had the owner, Jim, come to take some measurements I believe. He was also super nice and communicative. Let us know exactly how this would play out in regard to reconstructing our cabinets. We also had Carolina in the office always answering my silly questions and never failed to make me laugh or smile by being so nice! Finally, we were assigned a project manager, Sonia, to overlook the final step of getting the cabinets back in and our kitchen back to normal. This is where it went downhill. She was rude, rescheduled for anytime she wanted with no notice, did not possess any customer service skills in regard to actually working with us/communicating with us vs talking at us/being defensive when our unhappiness was expressed. Very unhappy with her portion of our claim. BUT the installers themselves did an amazing job in putting our kitchen back together. It's like new! So I'll end this review with this... we are not holding Sonia's character as a representation of ServPro as a whole. We worked with very kind people up to that point. Every company has some bad apples. I'll still recommend this company to whoever may ask for help. They were amazing and I have my house back together. They arrived the same day and stayed until 9:00 pm and returned when they said they would retreive the fans and finished removing debris. They were knowledgeable and professional. I agree with the previous review. They were very good at the emergency response for my water damage but the reconstruction was not so great. They are not very efficient in the process and at one point I actually waited for hours for someone to come out and install my carpet. The end result is pleasing but they should really work on efficiency. Also they should probably make sure that the people they send your house can speak English. One of the guys made me very nervous cause I didn't think he could understand me. Another one of the guys they sent out wasn't very friendly at all and it one point gave me such horrific attitude I almost didn't even want him to step foot in my house again! If you need somebody to come out and do emergency service they're great at that I can say but everything else was just kind of a mess read more

Absolutely awful! We had the owner and the manager come to our home for an estimate for the rebuild. It is 2 weeks later and I have yet to get an estimate. My insurance company stated they have not heard from ServPro regarding the rebuild. The only time there was any communication was when I called/emailed them. The manager, Gary Duff, advised only that he has not heard from our adjuster (we already received payments from insurance company) We have had several different companies come to provide estimates and they have all said the same..."The emergency company you used gutted your home. There is unnecessary additional damage that was not caused by water." -We used ServPro for the emergency services. Stay clear of this company. read more
