Weeks go by and no call as to the status of the glasses so we go by to inquire. The woman at the desk said they were very busy and handed the case with the glasses and told to "take them home and try them on." This is not the usual procedure because if something is wrong we would have to return to the store. Upon opening the case we discover one of the temples on the frame was broken off. The woman then says "you can order new frames at a discount." When my wife protests and says that is unacceptable the woman further says that "you signed a document when she placed the order that states they are not responsible for any damage." We feel, the fact they sat on these glasses for weeks without any communication and then tell us to "try them on at home" when picked up, was a blatant attempt to cover up their mistake as they could've claimed they were broken after we took them home. They had to know they were broken when they handed them to her and never mentioned they were obviously damaged furthering the attempted coverup. Our family has been patronizing this location for years for both exams and glasses and find this behavior reprehensible. We request that they either repair the frames that they obviously broke or replace them with a similar one at not cost. 12/02/20 update: Received a call from their corporate office last week. The representative apologized and instructed my wife to return to the office and receive a replacement pair of frames at no cost. That's how customer service is supposed to work. Thank you for following up and rectifying the situation.

They said that because she signed in they went ahead and charged her. They refused to give out the full prescription and then blamed the mistake in the charge on AARP. I called to straighten this out and they hung up on me. When I called back they handed the phone to someone else. If you DON'T understand what AARP has you listed for, you shouldn't just randomly charge someone more because they don't understand the mistake and you aren't able to explain it correctly. In addition, they didn't even provide the full prescription. Let's recap - you confirmed $55 on the phone, charged $75 and then don't even provide the full prescription? Gotta love a place that takes advantage of the elderly. I wear glasses and I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Update: AARP is sending a refund for the amount overcharged because this establishment didn't honor the pricing they must have agreed to in order to be added to the list of providers.

He was so thorough and even though he had people waiting, he took the time to speak to me and explain everything to me. That really meant a lot to me. I felt like he really cared. Not easy to find doctors like that anymore. From there I went to look at frames and get pricing on lenses. I spoke to Omar. He also spent the time to explain my options and asked what type of lenses and if I needed anti glare etc. He was so nice and so helpful. They had a great selection of frames starting at $9 for frames and going into designer frames. My only slight complaint had nothing to do with the doctor or employees. The doctor (optometrist) and vision center are a ways away and I passed up the optometrist because all I could see was a sign at the distance that said VISION so that is where I headed. I had no need to need to look for anything else. It would have been nice if they were next to each other or at least a little closer together rather than running back and forth. But Omar was kind enought to physically walk me over to the door of the doctor to make sure I found it. It only had a small sign by the door that said optometrist. Not sure if its the cheapest place around but if having a doctor that cares and having good service is important to you, than its well worth the little extra you may have to pay.
