This is an awesome Value Village, this place is WELL STOCKED! Like seriously, WAY MORE stocked than the Tukwila location, and I go to the Tukwila one almost weekly, but I think I will bring myself over here from now on, It looks like a thrift shop where I can actually find something worth paying for. They also have 99 cent days here for certain tag colors, I am unsure what days, but a lady told me. I think Tuesday and Wednesdays are regular days so there are no deals. But I am excited to come here again soon. The staff is also really nice too. AND they had a good amount of XMAS sweaters in the front entry way and XMAS decor and supplies too! read more

The prices for this store are crazy. Found Jean's as high as $24.99. Also found a new with tag item donated from Ross with a price higher than the Ross tag. Isn't this is a non-profit that resells donated items? But the worst was I found 2 items that rips, holes and deodorant marks. So hard to miss. How do they have this out on the floor.? read more

This place is expensive now. You can go to ross and buy brand new jeans for 10 dollars and theyre charging the same price. Used golf balls 14.99 USED ! Goodwill is better! read more

Out of all of the thrift stores and consignment shops located on the south side of Seattle (from West Seattle to Tukwila), we found this to be the best one! Their selection is vast and service was friendly. They have a massive DVD section and some of them have never been opened. Their furniture section might not be huge but it is full of gems! They have got tons of women's shoes and we spotted a few designer pairs! read more

This place is awesome! I lost my bags on my flight to seattle and valuevillage was a short busride from the airport. I was able to get plenty of clothes for my trip, all of which i loved and continue to wear when i'm home and have my entire wardrobe to choose from! Reasonable prices, good quality stuff, and very very friendly staff. If I'm ever in the area again I'm definitely going back. read more

Store always stinks like mothballs. only cracked out people appear to be shopping here,. dirty. prices always super high. I went over to ross because I found a similar polo i was looking for for about 3$ less. And NEW. I expected better from a thrift store. They are supposed to be supporting the community but end up hurting it. Why ARE YOU GUYS CHARGING SO MUCH?????? The good will is probably cheaper. They do sometimes have fish tanks which I look for. They charge 10$ for one. I can find a new one at the petshop for 13$ read more

Nice selection BUT prices have increased in a manner that makes it unlikely I will shop here in the future. I typically have dropped by every week so have seen the changes in pricing first hand. Today, $11.99 for used exercise capris. I spoke to the manager and she was nice but explained the pricing process stating that they are not trying to gouge people. Customer service at any thrift shop, especially the chain ones, is not going to be really great. when it is, it's a very nice surprise, but not something I expect automatically. The service at this Value Village ebbs and flows, and it can depend on the manager. The content of the store, how it's organized and displayed, is always very good. I shop here about once a week, always find something really good. Love this store. Caveat: currently, because of a mischief maker, whether employee or customer, flushing t shirts down the toilets, the restrooms are closed. read more

Head up the street to St. Vincent De Paul. Much, much better and faster service. Questions answered on the spot, without having to hunt someone down. But the best is the checkout. Last time I was in VV I had to wait, with the line down the aisle, as usual. When it was almost my turn both cash registers stopped working at the same time. They tried to call the manager over, but she yelled at them from the jewelry display and told them she was busy. I walked out. Went up the street to St. Vincent's and bought almost the same stuff (plus a couple of extras) and got service right away. Every time in VV you have to wait for poor service. Yes, they have good inventory, but not worth the wait. read more

Only my 2nd time at this store and I love it!! Be ready to shop and search when necessary! I left with 5 pairs of great jeans (I don't even like buying J cause its hard to get a good fit) Not a problem here though! 3 pretty tops, great summer dress and 3 pairs of shoes that I barely had to do a thing to b4 wearing! This is a clean, bright thrift store with a large footprint and lots of selection. When I strike out in my own town, I drive to Burien to browse this one. The non-clothing items are lots of fun. Not the cheapest place in town, but they do have a lot of real quality stuff. Hope the folks in Burien who think the Recession is just a nasty rumor, and have lots of money to spend, keep donating their hardly-used so the rest of us can survive! read more

i purchased a starbucks espresso machine for over 65.00 brought it home and it does not work! took it back and the so called manager there told me sorry we have no way to test and i only could exchange it for other items..she just kept saying over and over straight faced like she was a robot saying no no no no exceptions. she is thin short hair glasses with a streak of freaky color in her hair. i consider her exceptionaly rude and un friendly. just so you know. i will never never buy any electrical or be a loyal donor there any longer..very unpleasant deal with her....they get the stuff for free but refuse to return high priced items that dont work...thats just wrong! read more
