I was in Atlantic Beach on vacation and had a rental vehicle. I already had to trade it out once due to a check engine light. Then the tire pressure warning came on with the replacement vehicle. I was away from home - no tire pressure gauge or standard places to get air (isn't that part of the reason you rent a car - for the worry-free aspect??). I couldn't immediately find a gas vendor with air so I took a chance based on the reviews and stopped by City Tire. The reviews are true! The (manager / owner?) reassured me that air is hard to find in the area and it was good I stopped by, especially with a 450 mile drive ahead of me the next day. A young guy IMMEDIATELY offered to check it out. The tire with the low pressure (the vehicle does at least have the technology to pinpoint which tire is the issue!) was off in two minutes. He checked thoroughly for a nail/screw or leak, filled all to correct pressure and I was out of there in 15 mins! On top of that, they weren't going to charge me. The younger guy actually said he didn't do anything! I insisted on giving him some cash at least. Seriously, you never get old school service and integrity like this anywhere anymore. I am grateful to them (and feel terrible I didn't even get their names!). If you have any tire needs and you're anywhere close to Morehead City, go here!!

I told Timmy what was going on and he took the car for spin and told me that my issue was not exhaust but the windings on my front wheels. Not wanting anymore problems he gave me a quote and I came in the next morning to get the job done. While he was working on the car he callEd me to tell me that the brakes were shot as well. Thomas the owner looked at my truck on the lift and explained what we needed to do to repair it. We ordered the new mufflers and a couple days later they arrived. I dropped my truck off at the appointed time. I was called when it was ready. My estimate was below what I had been quoted elsewhere. When I asked how much he told me the lower side of the estimate I said did not expect that. It's been awhile now the exhaust and the welds are all holding fine. They did a great job and sold me flowmasters at a great price. Good Job guys you never met me before that day but you did a great job !!

Soon after I arrived my car was on the lift and being inspected. My problem was localized to a faulty muffler, everything else was tight and leak free. I had to leave town for a few days but returned on Friday for the repair work. Again, they quickly placed my car on the lift and before long I had my new lifetime warranty stainless steel muffler assembly installed and my now quiet car ready to drive off. The pros at Bayside Muffler deserve a shout out for their expertise, professionalism, and excellent customer service! A great job and at a very, very reasonable cost, especially compared to dealership gouging prices. This is a top notch outfit that I would not hesitate to recommend to my family members.
