Great service during COVID. I've been borrowing a small pick-up truck from my cousin during my move to a new house. While using it, I noticed it was time for an oil change, so it just seemed to be the right thing to do and get it done. The day before yesterday, while I was stopped at a stoplight, a kind gentleman pulled up next to me and informed me that the taillight on the drivers side was out. So while I was getting the oil changed, I asked if they could do that as well and they could. That was a win-win for me. The staff was very friendly and when I explained that I was not the owner and was borrowing they truck, they offered to print out a report for my cousin so he knew what they did. They were also did everything within social distancing guidelines. I was allowed to stay in the truck and all of the staff made sure they had mask on when they approached the side of the truck to speak to me. I have done everything Valvoline Instant Oil Change have asked for; sent information they wanted and still no refund for their wipers that do not even clean the window.do not trust these people, been told over and over refund is on the way, but it never seems to get here. ??will now start going to rapid lude for my oil changes. the Quality of the wipers they put on my car was worst then the ones I had.so beware they do not stand by their word as of so far. I arrived just before they opened at 8am. Employee came and greeted me and clarified that I was aware that the store wasn't open and ready for business yet, so it didn't look like a bunch of inside activity and me just sitting outside wondering when I would be waited on. The staff look to have a system and all hands on deck to start the day. After they got all set up and ready I was guided in for oil change, not in a rush, but efficient organized manner. After the regular questions on level of oil change I would want, along with their light checks. I was given the ticket and I had forgotten a coupon at home, employee pulled coupon up on his phone and I got the 15% off discount. Great! I had a wonderful visit. Josh was the manager, very friendly, no high pressure. Quick service and very convenient to get it. I actually heard one of the employees say to another... "Thank you for doing that. I appreciate that ." I would recommend them. I didn't have any of the extra services done because I drive a company vehicle. Been getting my oil changed for 25 years with Valvoline but on my visit 2 Saturdays ago I could not believe the service. Manager was rude, she even leaned over my truck with her jacket zipper leaving me light scratched to remove. They left a bolt off my rock guard the last visit and this visit they failed to put my lower radiator shroud back on, it fell out and broke. I went back to the store the manager on duty avoided me, they could not reinstall the part so they closed my hood and tried to send me on the way. During this time employees were making VERY rude comments to us because I wanted to see the Manager he he was in the office. This went on for 45 mins. The end result was "We watched the video and did not see where we damaged the part". I asked can I see the video, the answer was no. All I can say is WOW and REALLY. I was initially very pleased with the service of this Valvoline, and then I asked why it was so expensive ($80 with a coupon is WAY WAY WAY too much for an oil change). The lady said that it was because they do a full service, and it still seemed a bit high. I then came to learn after pressing more that there were two synthetic options for an oil change, one was $65 and the other $80, but the staff conveniently "assumed" I knew what I wanted and neglected to ask which I wanted. Very unprofessional, not okay to try and swindle people out of money. I will not be returning, please if you plan on going here for an oil change make sure you ask what your options are otherwise they will not tell you. read more
