I had an issue on my car today and I called 8 min before they closed. Rodney told me to come on down and he would look at it to see what he could do. I got there about 5 min later, they immediately brought my car into the bay, figured out the problem and fixed it immediately. I will always take my business to them. The shop was very efficient. As with all speedy oil change places, you have to provide all kinds of info..Name, Address, Phone, etc. Employees were friendly and it didn't take long. We are grateful for that because we have a long drive facing us. My only issue was that they didn't reset the maintenance message on the dash. I had to pull over and look up how to do that online. that made the experience annoying.

Now maybe they're not supposed to be wiping them down at all, but for the past 3 years my husband has had an account and it gets taken out every month and we gave ALWAYS gotten the vehicle wiped down like it was part of the package! The last 3-4 times they have done a very poor job, one time my husband even asked them to dry it better, this time they just dried half the hood, fixed the mirrors back walked to the back of the Tacoma and motioned for us to move on! The last 2 times I have been there, they staff made it very uncomfortable. They messed with my politcal magnets on my car and tried to berate me for my views. This last time was the end of my relationship with Pit stop. They were ranting and cursing about politics. They questioned me as to why I was wearing a mask. Was told I needed a radiator flush, new air filter I had changed 4 days prior (I can get the same one online for 1/5 of the cost they charge in house). After my last trip to Lubbock I went to my old location and they also checked my radiator fluids and showed me the results. Said the levels were fine and no action was needed any time soon. The employees at the Amarillo location seemed less than the professional level I'm used to receiving at other locations. Some conversations should not be had within earshot of customers.

After we hopped back in our car, the check engine light came on, and my Ford Focus (2004 SE, 2.3L) was shuddering/jerking very strongly in idle and in drive. Fortunately, I've had this problem already occur in the past year -- so I knew that a different one of my cylinders was misfiring, and that I specifically needed another new ignition coil (I had paid $600 for parts+labor in West Los Angeles). I called a few auto shops within a mile radius. One said they were heavily backed up with other customers. One said they were booked for the rest of the week. Top Gun said they could look at the car immediately, and could definitely replace the ignition coil within an hour and for ~$300 if that was indeed the problem, so I rolled in. They let me sit with my two cats (in carriers) in the waiting room while they ran diagnostics. Came back maybe 15 minutes later, and told me I was right about the ignition coil. 45 minutes later, the job was done for $300, half the price I paid the first time in LA for a different coil, and we were back on the road for our adventure! I'm extremely grateful that we found them. Great service quality, price and speediness, and a very trustworthy, accommodating and friendly staff. I'd recommend any friend to their facility. Two hours later after over filling the oil and having to remove some of it, they told me the cost which was 60% higher than the quoted price. They said it took more oil than they had planned. I will never return
