I'm extremely frustrated with the service I've received from Valvoline. This is now the second time your technicians failed to properly secure my splash guard after servicing my vehicle. Luckily the first time this happened there was no damage and I was able to take it back for them to screw back on. Unfortunately, not this time. Because it was not screwed in correctly, the splash guard came loose while I was driving, which caused significant damage to the underside of my car. As a result, my front bumper is now damaged and the splash guard itself is completely broken. This is not a minor oversight, it is a repeated issue that shows a serious lack of attention to detail and care. I trusted your team to perform a basic service correctly, and instead, I'm left dealing with unnecessary repair costs and inconvenience. read more

Been coming here for like five years. The quickest service of any oil change service station I've been to. In 15 minutes, they changed my oil, oil filter, and for another 10 more minutes rotated my tires. Decent value for the money you pay for too, but time is so valuable and this particular station is the most efficient time wise that I have ever been to. read more

I've always gotten my oil changed at the good year shop but because of time I came to Valvoline. People are nice but why would I pay $50 more. Apparently they don't do price comparisons. They never even offered a discount. Not a place I recommend other than buyer beware. read more

Got an oil change from them today. It took 3 of the techs to figure out how to open my hood (they said it was stuck but I had it open 2 days ago and it wasn't even stiff) then they take my air filter out to show me it's dirty (I know it's part of the schtick) On my way home I find the engine not sounding right so I look... Not only did they put the filter back in backwards but they didn't latch the bottom of the air box and just forced it closed, breaking a part of the housing. I will not be returning. This is poor training and an unwillingness to seek help. I would have been happy to assist if they only asked. read more

I had a really pleasant experience getting an oil change here. It seems like they have good management b/c all the techs seemed happy to be working there. They were efficient and respectful: told me what needed getting done and what their prices were without being pushy so I could make up my own mind. Anyway, their service was enough to make me want to look for a Valvoline next time instead of the competition that starts with a J which is where I usually go. Avoid this place ! Rushed oil change and the next day I had issues with leaking oil. The speed to complete the job will cost you later. The men there always have an attitude. The ladies were much better. The one on Chapman, in orange. Never going back and telling all who I know to avoid the head aches. They try to up sell like crazy. Love getting my car serviced at Valvoline! I pull up and into the bay, never have to get out of my car, the service is always fast, and their customer service is excellent. I found that to be true at every Valvoline I've visited. I never have to sit around and spend hours in a waiting room or make an appointment days before, I just pull up to the entrance. they direct me to the available bay and off we go! I appreciate the way the techs explain things and give me options, but are never pushy or go for a hardsell. I signed up for text notifications a while back and saved 20% on today's visit. We are glad to find a place during this chaotic time where you can stay in the car, take care of car-related issues. This location is kind of hidden, but once you use the Google map, you will not miss it. I called before driving, and luckily they have a new battery in the stock. When I get there, I thought I have to wait in the waiting room, but they asked me to stay in the car, and the battery changed within 10 mins. Both prices and services were excellent, and now I am looking forward to an oil change next week. I will highly recommend this place, just walk in, and you will be out in ten to fifteen mins. 1st timer Came on SATURDAY @ 12pm. All 3 slots were full in front of me, but I only waited 15 minutes until it was my turn. Took a total of 30 minutes from start to finish for them to do an oil change. I would say it was quick & painless. They showed me my engine air filter vent (didn't need replacing) and were pleasant during the whole process. I used a 20% off discount that I got from Yelp. My only complaint was that they didn't give me a receipt and I didn't realize until I already drove off. I usually keep it in my glove box so I can remember when my last oil change was since I don't like keeping the "reminder sticker" on my windshield. Bummer. They were polite, but I was very surprised to learn that they don't actually remove your oil drain plug to change the oil. They vacuum in up from the dipstick port. This won't get all of the oil out, particularly any sediment at the bottom of your oil pan. If they advertised this or made note of this procedure somewhere, that certainly would have been understandable. But in my opinion, you can't advertise yourself as a true oil change if this is the way you are providing the service. read more

I've been coming here over 5 years and seen two full teams of staff come and go with new management. I have a skid plate on my truck and I always ask politely up front if they can make sure they check and clean any oil of it runs off onto the skid plate. 3 times now I have had to come back to get it wiped down. This is not good service but the reason for this post is Justin the sales guy. I went in again today and he was there before and he's always trying to sell services when I tell him up front I only need an oil change I am limited on time. I have a mechanic who does my services. Today he had a very bad attitude and I presented him a coupon from valvoline for 20% off any service and he tried to say it doesn't work. I showed him the website and the code and the expiration date from valvoline and he started arguing saying next time he won't honor it. What a sad salesman who gets frustrated at customers who have been coming here for 5 years. Took my van here for an oil change about a week ago. I never considered a place like this before but because they're so close to where I live and the turn around time is supposed to be fast, I thought I'd give them a chance. I was pleasantly surprised! The set up is pretty cool; you drive your vehicle into one of their service bays and you get to stay in your car the whole time. The workers come up to you and explain everything. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. The price for my oil change was more than what the dealership charges me but I don't mind because of the proximity to my home and the fast service. I think it was worth paying a little bit more. I'll definitely come back and I definitely would recommend this location. I would like to solve this matter. My Vehicle Engine Light has been ON since November 2021. I got my oil change than before I left for vacation. I returned in January 2022, been driving car HAVE RESET multiple times & checked the problem & nothing was showing up. FINALLY, a Toyota Mechanic have suggested that my ENGINE COVER is MiSSING. NOW Valvoline, I am not asking for anything but I NEED YOU TO REPLACE THE ENGINE CoVER. I will not purchase this as it cost $150-$200. Unfortunately the skid plate was improperly reinstalled on our 2022 MDX. Causing it to suddenly tear loose on the interstate. You can only imagine what this was like. We do feel fortunate that this didn't cause far worse damage. Certainly understand that mistakes are made. My real issue is with the lack of follow through and seemingly lack of any true concern for the issue. As most of you, we pay a premium to have our car serviced at Valvoline. Normally use the dealership to change my oil but I was urgently needing to change my oil due to an unexpected out of town trip. Get there and waited no longer than 5 min and was wonderfully greeted. While they were changing out the oil, one of the techs realized that I had a fat nest building up. Thank goodness they acknowledged it and cleared all the debris. I have been coming to valvoline for 5+ years we moved from OC to corona 2 years ago I have been coming to this location because is closer to our house but for some reason started 6 months ago we been coming here and we always waited about 1hrs to 1.5hrs before they gets to our car, they always I mean ALWAYS TO ATTEND to the cars behind us for some reason and wven we are the second car in line they told us to move it to another bay so the car behind us can go in front of us . I don't understand it but the whole point to come in to valvoline is to be quick if we will wait 1-2 hours then we can just go to a normal shop guy that takes half or full fat which you can save half of the pricing of the oil change. If you are in a hurry and you are coming here on the weekend then maybe you should not come to this location read more
