my son and my wife took my son' car in this morning because after replacing the windshield my son complained about noise when he drove. The two mechanics there were both very helpful and took the time to test drive 3 times daily and took some parts off to look at and listened for noise and said there is possibility of missing some insulation after replacing windshield, but it is perfectly safe to drive. One of the mechanic's names is Kyle and my wife did not get the name of the other mechanic. I will definitely take my car there for any repair work. So Dale and the crew have been taking care of my wife's Mercury for easily 4 years now. Today we got the news no one wants to hear, albeit the honest and correct diagnosis, time for a new car. We knew it was coming and my wife really loved her car. A lot of family trips, bringing one of our sons home when he was born , and a lot of other great times. Funny we can become attached to a machine. What made this day even worse was the sadness we are feeling knowing with a new car we will be using the dealership to work on them and not the folks at Crady's. What? Very impressed! Called last Friday and got an appointment for Monday at 7:30 am. Within a few hours, the car (a 2005 Honda Civic that I will endlessly regret purchasing for my daughter as it has been nothing but trouble) had been thoroughly diagnosed and I got a call from Dale with the solution and a very reasonable estimate of the cost. By around 4 pm I got another call saying the car was done. We rushed over, but arrived at 5:02 pm, sure that we'd have to come back the next day, but happily there was still someone there to process our payment and give us the key. We were so grateful for that! I really appreciated the level of detail that Dale provided when going over the steps he'd taken to troubleshoot the car; I'm by no means a car expert, but he explained it in a way I could understand. This really made me feel like Crady's is a trustworthy place that isn't going to find all kinds of "issues" that need to be fixed just to get more money. We moved to the area a couple of months ago, and I've now found my auto repair shop! I have got to say, I really trust these folks! I have been going to them now for 2.5 years and they are so trustworthy! Perfect example was today, took my car in because I noticed a very tiny leak in my garage. There are 2 possible solutions, one that would potentially work $95 and another that would be almost $1k, a major job. And the owner said a $5 bucket at Walmart would be cheaper. I appreciate that because with such a small leak, yea $5 would be cheaper. But I did opt to pay $95 for the potential fix. Same experience last week with my other car, some tire place said I needed to spend $1,200 to fix some things. HECK NO. Brought the car in and they confirmed that I was being lied to, inspected everything, and charged me $39 for an oil change that I desperately needed anyway. So just know you can trust these folks! They will do right by you and they will take into consideration your goals for your car. read more

Some backstory: We have taken my husbands truck to Firestone several times over the past year and each time they've been unable to diagnose what the issue was. My hubby made an appointment with Crady's for the next day. Crady's took their time to figure out what the heck was going on with his car and fixed it and I believe they fixed it for a very fair cost. I feel like at Firestone they were so anxious to move us in and out they never actually tried to figure out what the issue was whereas Crady's took their time. This is the mechanic you are looking for! Honest, quick, Honest, great work, Honest, knowledgable, honest... The dealership quoted me $1200 for a knock sensor that Crady's figured out wasn't bad, it was the harness that they fixed for a fraction of the cost. The dealer also said I had a leak in my oil cooler seal that Crady's said was not so at all... if anything some oil dripped from an oil change.... saved me about $800. Even better while I was there I mentioned the trouble my pretty savvy husband's truck was having that he nor two other shops could figure out how to fix. Dale said to bring it in and he fixed it in half a day under his quote which was about $4000 cheaper than another shop. Crady's is the real deal! Thank you Dale and your team! read more

My truck just stopped moving on the freeway, as in no-go. I did a quick check on yelp and Crady's came up near my house and had great reviews. I had the tow truck drop off my truck on Thursday night. Friday morning, they looked it over and said the transmission was blown. They gave me a quote to rebuild it. I called a few other places to compare prices and it was competitive. I called them back and said go ahead and they told me it would be ready next Thursday. They called on Wednesday and said come and get it. I picked it up and it ran like new. Even better, it came with a 2 year warranty, instead of 1 year like everybody else I called. My only nitpick is that the truck came back filthy. Even the side views mirrors were smudged. P.S. I had to laugh last night when my son looks in the trash bag of the truck and finds a half eaten bag of chips, a candy bar wrapper and a hot dog wrapper. Somebody ate lunch in my truck. read more

When my 5 yr lease ended on my Honda Accord, I had to decide whether to return the car and buy a new one or just buy out the leased vehicle. Based on Kelly's Bluebook, I knew the asking price for my Accord was fair but I wanted to have the car inspected by an independent mechanic before purchasing just to make sure there were no lurking issues (despite the fact that my car had been well maintained), etc. My aunt & uncle recommended Crady's so I thought I'd give them a try. Crady's was incredibly accommodating and Dale, the manager, told me to bring the car at my convenience and they'd inspect it. The day I dropped it off, Crady's did a thorough inspection of the car, advised me of what repairs would need to be made in the near future (new brakes which Honda had also mentioned) and advised me on the best course of action moving forward - all at no charge. I was thoroughly impressed with their friendly and thorough professionalism and told them I planned to buy the car and would bring it back to them for service as soon as I had title of it. Upon acquiring title, I brought the car back for new brakes (front & back), an oil change, a diagnostic for the A/C (it wasn't working at all...straight up torture in CA in august), & a new driver side mirror (clipped it on the garage one under-caffeinated morning). I dropped it off on a Friday morning and told them I was ok with them keeping it over the weekend since Honda couldn't get them the new mirror til Monday morning. Monday morning I got a call to say the car was all ready save the mirror - Honda had sent them a scratched mirror and they didn't want to put it on unless I was ok with that. I told them I could wait another day and so they ordered the replacement mirror and had the car ready by lunchtime the next day. All in all, the repairs were done well and quickly for a very reasonable price. Plus, the people at Crady's put me at ease with their friendly, straightforward approach. I would definitely go back (I plan to when I need to put new tires on my car) and I would also recommend them to friends and family. read more

This place is by far the best mechanic shop I have ever been to. If there's one thing to take away from this review its that they are honest. I would trust anything they told me without question. I brought my '02 Camaro in to have some work done. Dale looked at my car and drove it before doing the work. He told me they would do the work I had asked for if I wanted them to, but it wasn't really necessary. Even though it would have been a large amount of labor they could have billed me for, they were honest. On top of that while driving my car, Dale noticed a different issue with my car that did need fixed. They had to call all over the place to find a discontinued part for my steering column to fix it. Amazingly they found the part (new) from somewhere on the east coast, got it installed, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the work, service, and price. From now on any time I need a mechanic or someone asks me for a mechanic I recommend, this will be the place without hesitation. Dale is very friendly and will happily explain things to you, instead of just saying X Y and Z needs done, he will explain why they need done and any issues he foresees in getting it done. Yay! - It's a good feeling to have when you realize you FINALLY found a really great place to work on your car! My poor 2001 Jetta is an old lady and the AC has been out for at least 3 months and I've been putting off fixing it. But with the heat we've been having lately, I caved and knew I needed to take it somewhere. Found Crady's on yelp, dropped it off at 9am & had it back before 1pm!
