Came in on Wednesday because battery light came on. They ran codes and said the battery seemed to be fine but it might be the alternator (which they dont do). Also said I needed an oil change and spark plugs. Got Alternator done at Firestone and everything was good. Drove straight to Jiffy Lube for oil change and spark plugs. They eventually called me outside to tell me that they did the oil change, but then they did the spark plugs and now the car was making a loud repetitive knocking noise. The first employee asked what I wanted to do, and asked if I wanted them to put the old spark plugs back. I was still in shock and then the manager came over (bald guy). He explained the noise again and I asked if they put the old plugs back will it stop. Manager guy says they dont even know if they're usable because they have been disposed of and contaminated now, but like, the first employee suggested it to begin with? Then he was like "we're gonna have to move your car to the other bay because we're busy right now." So more waiting, and they tell me that the car will need to be towed out. Like what? What the heck is going on? So now I'm waiting for the tow truck, and another employee (younger) comes over to me to apologize and try to explain different scenarios as to what the problem is. But it was grasping at straws. It could be this, it could be that. But at the end of the day, something happened in that Jiffy Lube bay. I left Firestone and easily drove over to Jiffy Lube with a quiet, working engine. And somewhere in whatever Jiffy Lube did to it, my engine became undrivable. After nearly 4 hours at Jiffy Lube, the tow truck finally arrived and we towed it straight back to Firestone. They're still doing the diagnostic and its looking like an engine swap is going to be needed now, but they also asked what the heck did Jiffy Lube do because when the car left Firestone that morning it was fine, and now 5 hours later after Jiffy Lube did something it was not fine. Oh, and Jiffy Lube charged me for their labor that occured while they were 'working' on the car. I'm still waiting on official diagnostic tests but next step will contacting the CA Bureau of Automotive Repair. read more

I drove off after what I thought was a good oil change experience only for two blocks later to hear horrible scraping metal in the middle of the road. Thinking I drove over something I pull over to look. They had FAILED to SECURE to plate underneath. I manage to bring it back after a nice person helped me zip tie it back on only for them to barely acknowledge what I just went thru and just say "oops" "sorry" and tell the young tech "you didn't secure it!?" They put the wrong viscosity oil in my car and now I am sitting at the car dealership during a not so fun rush-hour tow waiting for final diagnosis from the master tech and processing the fact that I likely have damage to my turbocharger and bearings and that I'm probably gonna have to take these clowns to court to get them to pay the bill. Funny thing is... They tried to encourage me to come in and have them do an oil change "on the house" despite the fact that I've been driving around with the wrong viscosity oil for two months! Although they were very apologetic, (the tech not the head tech who didn't even acknowledge me after the intro) what should've been at 10 to 15 minute oil change turned into a 45 minute oil change with no heads up given to me the customer. I understand things are gonna come up and things do happen. I walked across the street to grab something from the gas station and my truck was pulled out as though it were done before I even crossed the street. The service writer was rude but I chalked it up to him having a rough day and let it go. Came here for an oil change and not only was it expensive ($129) but more importantly one of the workers left oil stains all over my center console and on the inside of my car door as he was driving my car over the oil bay, he was in my car for no longer than a minute. The ironic part was that the same worker that left oil stains in my car left a "car detail business card" for me. Im very frustrated because my car is new and thanks to bad practices and uncleanliness my car has been soiled, terrible experience and never coming back to ANY Jiffylube. I dont know what these Jiffylube owners are thinking allowing the same people who are soaked in oil to handle your keys and drive your car over the oil bay. One minute is all it takes to get an oil stain that will last a life time. A change of gloves wouldn't have prevented this issue because i can tell the oil stain on my center console was due to oil soaked clothes and not gloves, although the oil stains on the inside door appeared to be due to unsanitary gloves. read more

Went in there for a oil change about a month ago I came with my own oil filter and they still charge me for a oil filter, not only that I had replace air filter and cabin filter it was kind of a lot for a up charge. Service guys did not put the cap back on my Cabin air filter I just found out today why my glove department was not closing properly for the past month. I give it a fair 3 stars. read more

Women be skeptical about this location. I don't understand how my oil change was only 10 minutes. I checked in around 435-440 before the mechanic even started working on the oil change. Shortly after signing my paperwork he moved my car so that another customer which seemed like his friend could get his oil change. He told me that he reset it my oil change light yet I did that myself prior to arrival. I signed my receipt at 5:04pm which makes no sense since he worked on my car for less that time. Went in for a oil change and they showed me the Full Synthetic option. I asked if we could use blend and they said it was not recommended by MFG but usable with notation on invoice . Also provided a coupon which they gladly applied. The estimate statement was provided showed FULL synthetic and I advised them of the mistake. They said no problem they will adjust on final bill using blend without reprinting the work order. Service was fast and efficient. They were friendly. When I paid, the invoice was emailed and come to find out they went and installed full synthetic vs the blend I was requesting. Thus paying the added difference for full synthetic. LESSON LEARNED - Be aware as this was my mistake - make sure the estimate matches what you asking for and not take verbal agreements or you may end up with something different that what you want. They forgot to replace the engine cover and did not contact me. They left Oil drops all over the top of the engine bay, they did not reset the oil code. The service checklist said that they vacuumed floors, they did not. I went out of my way to pick up my missing item from the top of the engine, I asked them about vacuuming the floors, and they said that their vacuum was broken. So they lied on the service checklist On their signature service. What upsets me the most is that they did not call me back for the missing piece on my engine. read more

Brought my F150 in for an oil change. After leaving, the engine died. I called them and told them what happened. They sent Jesse out who diagnosed the mass O2 sensor had gone out and it was obvious that it wasn't associated with the oil change. Jesse's supervisor came out, I can't recall the name, and he verified. He went and purchased the sensor and the tool needed to install it, installed it and sent us on our way. About 3 weeks later my change oil light came on I went back there for them to tell me they didn't change my oil drain plug. Once they replaced that part they stripped it and then put some adhesive to cover up the damages that they had made. Which by the way cost me over a thousand dollars to fix. My boyfriend has brought his truck here before and they only charged him a little over $80. When I brought it they immediately told me signature service with full synthetic even though I said I didn't need it. Of course they insisted that I can only use full synthetic. I had a coupon so I didn't argue it too much, but the receipt came out to $162 which is outrageous. Then at the end when I'm paying even though I signed a receipt that said $162 the kiosk said $189. I asked why it was that much if I clearly had a signed receipt for $162. He tried to tell me that they put I wanted an air filter, and basically asked if I didn't want it anymore they could take it off. So they didn't charge me for it originally, had me sign a paper that didn't have it on there, then tried to make me pay for it at the end. Then the other things in the "packages they charged me for were things like vacuuming and checking liquid levels. Their "vacuuming" was them barely even going over the two front seats and that's it...... didn't even look at the back or the front floors. Please know they will try to screw you over if you are female!!! Pay attention to what they are charging you for or being someone with you!!! Complete RIP OFF and do not recommend. read more
