I do NOT leave nasty reviews, and I rarely leave reviews at all. But this experience left me with no choice. I brought my truck into Valvoline Instant Oil Change for a routine oil and transmission fluid service. It was running completely fine when I arrived. Less than FIVE minutes after leaving the shop, I started experiencing serious electrical issues that I had NEVER had before. Whenever I go above about 3,500 RPM, my voltage gauge spikes and overcharges. My radio shuts off, and the electrical system goes haywire. This started immediately after the service -- not days later, not weeks later -- but right after pulling out. Before this visit, my truck had zero charging issues. Now I'm dealing with what appears to be alternator overcharging or wiring damage -- something that can destroy a battery and electrical system if not handled properly. What made this even worse was the way it was handled. When I called to explain what was happening and ask for help, they hung up on me. That is completely unprofessional. I trusted them with a simple fluid change. Instead, I left with a potentially expensive electrical problem and zero accountability. Very disappointed. read more

Although I thoroughly love the idea of not having to get out of the car for an oil change, I'll be going elsewhere in the future! After charging $100 for an oil change, I found my car dripping oil, which it's never done before. It was a slow drip & by the time I noticed it and was able to get back over there, about 2 weeks had elapsed. The technician gave me some story about how when they changed the oil filter, they didn't clean up afterwards & this was just the residual oil dripping. Okaaaay. Well...I would've expected them to then clean up the residual mess & my problem would be solved. However, here I am another 2 weeks later (FOUR weeks after the oil change) and it's STILL dripping!! Clearly something is wrong. Now I either have to go back AGAIN or take it somewhere with competent technicians who can fix the issue! read more

just moved to the are. pulled in for oil change everyone was super nice. that being said a week later car was making a pinging noise check the oil there was none on my dipstic. was leaving on a trip I had to put over 2 quarts in. I had driven a lot and was almost a quart low so I went in told them oil was low they did everything but put oil in. sure enough got home checked oil and was still almost quart lo. will not be back read more

Terrible training. I asked the service technician that came to my truck for a specific oil type for my diesel. You would have thought I was asking him something about nuclear physics. I then asked if any of the other technicians would know if they had the specific grade of oil my truck requires, again dazed and confused look. Just left this business. Todd, the manager is a nice, young man and very professional in his business approach. The young man in the pit was very good although did not get a name.
