They ruined our car! It really upsets me what they did so when went to another valvoline who told us it was not the right filter and pushed it in there! This is warning, don't use them! They took forever on us and made it so we have to go to another company just to fix the problem! I wouldn't recommend them if my life depended on it! Took my Truck in for a standard oil change. Aside from their annoying sales pitching, everything went smooth. A bit pricey ($134.00). Sometime later discovered an oil leak in my driveway. Took the truck to my mechanic. He looked at it for a few minutes and said "Who changed your oil last?" Turns out Valvoline didn't tighten my oil filter properly when they changed my oil. So, with my Mechanic's $149 diagnostic fee + $134 at Valvoline, that oil change cost me a total of $283. Thanks, Valvoline. You had one job. Won't be going back. Long time customer. Bring my F250 gas into the shop ever few months do to the mileage I drive. Well the tech didn't tighten up the oil plug was leaking and it seems that the plug is stripped now. No one else touches the truck for oil changes but the Corona Valvoline. Customer service is well trained to cover and throw shade on the customer.. Stay Away at all cost. They did the oil change on my work truck i always take it to valvoline in elsinore .there great over-there i decided to try corona on my way home and i was put right in i watched them change the oil on my 2019 dodge 3500 fleet truck and I'm usually out of there in 15-20 min i noticed that the kid working on the right side was trying to do something and he wasn't having any luck he called out and another guy started then the manager came over and i guess he got the filter in .. then they fill my truck with 3 quarts to high of oil and have to take it out(I'm not kidding they even told me ) i was just sitting there now 1-1/2 hours later I'm out the door ...update a month later my truck is leaking oil !!!!! You got to be kidding me !!! I swing by and see Charles at elsinore and he tells me that the filter was loose he said it was hand tight as soon as he put the new filter on no more leak ... guys really need to step up there game at corona !!!! read more

I went to the Corona store to obtain an oil change for my Mustang I was getting ready to sell. During the test drive the oil spilled out everywhere onto my engine, exhaust pipe, the ground, etc. I took it to an auto mechanic and they said it was due to overfilling the oil at Valvoline. There were NO issues that caused this and this was detailed on the invoice from the auto mechanic. I put through a claim and they refused to pay for the over $600.00 in repairs needed to get rid of the excess oil. We will NEVER use this company ever again as there was NO reason this occurred other than the oil change. read more

Invoice 234348 10/17/2023 10:59 AM The engine bay employee yanked my Windshield Wiper Cowl off the clips, and didn't attempt to fix it. While talking to Manger Luis he Attempting show me my a/c filter. I didn't notice my cowl was discombobulated til I went to get gas. I wouldn't consider going back. The employee has a (Red Challenger with stripes). Watch out for this guy. Short guy with buzz cut, and dad body. I never experienced this, and I have been going to Valvoline for a decade. This place let me wait in my car for an hour. Wait in your car while they do an oil change right? Should be great to wait in my car but not for an hour and even if I was playing my app games inside, I noticed the 2 other slots had cars coming in and lining up but getting serviced ahead of me. I looked at the time I started my games and it was 58 minutes and 36 seconds in my car. So I called that Valvoline and I spoke Wilson and he got me the manager and when I stepped out of the car, this mechanic said I can't go in the service area. All these men were hostile and so ho hum about servicing the customer. To make it even worse, this manager points at his monitor cam at which point I flipped. No empathy, no gracious attitude. Horrible customer service! Sucks to write this since I been going to this Valvoline for years. Employee Denise was parking and hit my car. We came out checked the car and just noticed minor paint contact which we wiped away. She stayed in her car, she finally came out and said NOTHING. I contacted customer service and they informed me I couldn't make a claim since it wasn't a service. Customer service is a service! The damage was nothing but the fact that she proceeded to say nothing or even check was the issue. Got contacted by management via phone finally letting me know they were connecting me to Denise in a recorded line. Where she stated she got really close and did not hit us. She continued to argue she didn't hit us. Both me and my boyfriend were in the car and felt the bump. She then just apologized and told me to have a nice day. MONTE E. At 10:11am I pulled up to a bay to get my oil and filter changed in my 2005 Chevy Silverado HD Diesel and a Diesel Fuel Filter Replacement. They gave me a quote of $383.48 which I agreed to but I questioned the price for the fuel filter and they said that's what those parts cost. So they started on my truck and after 20 minutes I was sitting there trying to see what was being done under the hood, then I heard them taking something of on the right side behind the wheel, which turned out to be the splash guard, I don't know why cause I have changed that filter before myself from the engine compartment , the guy didn't know what he was doing and had to ask another worker to help him out it back on after he changed the filter, it took him another 20 minutes to put it back on ,they finally finished putting Premium Blue Oil back in and then they had me start up the motor to get pressure and check the dipstick which I looked at and it was good. Then I paid and they closed the hood, the guy started using a oily rag to wipe of the finger prints and I yelled at him to stop , my newly painted truck has a beautiful finish on it and explained to him to use a new micro fiber towel on the wiping process . He didn't care about my vehicle At All, so when they told me to pull forward I did and stopped on the outside and got out of my truck to see what they did with the splash guard and I'm glad that I did because they left out about 5 of the push pins that hold it place so you don't hear the thing flapping after driving away, I had my truck painted 8 months ago and I know those push pins that hold we're in there, another thing I looked under the hood to see it they primed the top of the fuel filter,NOPE THEY DIDN 'T. These workers DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! The girl that started checking my tire pressures in the HOT SUN didn't know about the tire pressure is to be checked when it's cold. As you can see I'm not very happy with this last visit to the Valvoline Store on GRAND AVE IN CORONA.. Then when I got home I had oil dripping from under the oil pan all the way back to the transmission pan. WHOEVER IS DOING THE TRAINING OF THESE EMPLOYEES NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!! Quick and convenient. This Valvoline location is right by my house so it's nice to drop by for a quick oil change every few months. It's nice that I always get discount coupon mailed home. I don't think I've ever had to wait for more than 2 cars ahead in my lane. Staffs are friendly and efficient. I do wish that they don't try to cross sell transmission oil service, filters, tire location, etc.. but I know it is part of their job to do so. They are not pushy like at some other service shops so that's at least good. Other than it leaving me feeling slightly cheap for not wanting to spend more than a discounted oil change, I'd say they are 5 star worthy. read more

I went to get an oil change for my wife on 1/28 and the person helping me told me about the license plate light being out and that it would be $15.00. They ended up charging me $20.00. Also asked them to check the anti-freeze (Coolant) and was marked as Ok but then found out it was empty. This is the 1st and last time I will be going to this place for an oil change. read more

This used to be one of my go to places because they were quick and provided good service. The last 2 times I was there with 2 different vehicles. One vehicle I took myself and the other my Husband. The 2 vehicles running fine no problems a few days after I took both for service they both magically overheated in the freeway and had minimal Antifreeze. One they had just been inspected supposedly by the employees at the location and they reported no problems. My issue here is that 2 different vehicles are not going to have the same issue after being serviced at this location with no previous problems of loosing antifreeze for years. My conclusion is that creating a problem with a persons vehicles to overheat the engine and blow it out is no joke. I am even considering reporting to cooperate that this is completely unacceptable! People check your fluid levels after service you might be surprised at what you find. read more
