The job was not well done $980.00 and more for the damage. I went there on January 2022 to get an oil change. They had a sign on that date that they do Care Tune-ups similar to Winterizing cars checking for all fluids. They changed the oil replaced the filters, changed the windshield wipers and told me all fluids were checked. They did not turn off the light "Service Engine Soon" which means get an oil change. However, after driving several miles the light went off. On January 28th I took my car to a full-service mechanic only for my tires, alignment, and other tire-related issues. On February 2, 2023 as I was driving to school my Engine temperature went from Cool to Hot. The car stopped. I waited awhile until it cooled down. On Friday I towed the car to my full service mechanic. He siscovered the fluids for the engine were low which should have been done during the oil change. I was informed by the assistant manager that that was a new station and their was no Antifreeze, and other liquisa doe the engine. However, the fluids should have been checked to inform me how to care for my car. I was advised to get to the nearest Gas station and get Anti-Freeze. I decided to park my car and have ot towed to a AAA full service car shop. I usually go to New York to get my oil change and this never ever happens!!!!! I brought my brand NEW Honda CRV there twice. The first time after I drive off I noticed a metal sound scraping along the road every bump. I looked under the Car and as I expected the skid plate was hanging. they not only left it hanging to get damaged but when I returned to them they lost the screws that supported it. The guys there used tyewraps instead. Keep in mind this was a Brand new car. I decided it was a mistake, a once in a lifetime. I was wrong the very next time they left it hanging again. I'm so disappointed in their lack of quality assurance. I don't know if there will be a 3rd chance to ruin my car. I hope one of them read this and correct their actions immediately, especially in these tough business times.. Horrible customer service. Probably the worst place to get your oil changed. The guys always flirt with the girls im with and make them uncomfortable. (ive seen happen to other customers) One of the bigger males smells bad like he doesnt shower. A few of them are good and work fast. The manager doesn't enforce a sense of urgency and their "10 minute oil change" goes to 30 mins. they are the worst. Seriously the worst. Threads were stripped while removing the plug on the differential. Valvoline does not want to be liable for its mistakes. The damage done will cost 1,200 to repair. I will no longer be going to any Valvoline. I recommend that everyone stay away from amateurs servicing their vehicles. read more

The staff was very courteous. I was the second car at the opening hour. I get that they want to sell extra's but telling someone they need a new car battery when they don't isn't good customer service. I bought a battery last year elsewhere so I was surprised when Valvoline told me the number should be at 800 and my car was only at 400. I said I would get it taken care of. I went to where I bought the battery and they told me I have 5-year warranty, they checked the battery and it was a 89%. They also checked my alternator and it is fine. Employees don't care... neither the manager... they take their sweet time to do anything (not in a good way)... don't care about customer. The only other review for this location is a one star at the moment - but I personally had a much better experience with my recent visit for an oil change. It was my first visit, and Manager Sean was the first to greet me, ask initial questions and get me in for service right away. I had a Groupon for a free conventional oil change but wanted to apply the value toward a full synthetic oil replacement and it was no problem to make the switch. The full value of the conventional oil change was applied to my total purchase. They also checked the filters by default and showed them to me. I was expecting to replace them so I went ahead and let them do it. I had two plate lights out, and they were able to change one of them, because the other had stripped screws and they didn't want to make it worse. So kudos for honesty and alerting me to a repair that could potentially save me from an expensive police ticket. The change for the bulb was $7.99 at the time of this writing I believe. A crew of three worked on my car and the associate was very good about going through all the different service options and recommendations for my car. I know it's mostly a sales pitch, but the descriptions of the services were accurate and I think the prices are reasonable. I wasn't pressured to buy anything that I said no to - he just moved on to the next item. I think that's perfect service. People tell me that "you can do all that stuff yourself!" Price wise, you will always save money doing anything yourself and following a YouTube guide or Googling how to do it. But honestly, I rather save my time, pay three experienced guys to do a bunch of maintenance tasks in 10 minutes rather than spend hours getting the tools and pans and towels, getting frustrated, dirty, and so on... Anyway, I was in and out in good time with my full synthetic oil change and a few other fluids topped off and the car is running great! Up selling add on services are expected every where you go so I wasn't surprised that they pitched their recommendations upon arrival at the front desk after all it is part of their job as cashiers. These guys do an acceptable job. In and out fairly quickly. Of course the management insists they try to sell you all sorts of stuff a typical car never needs, but I don't blame the workers. They have to ask. Check your owner's manual for recommended service intervals. The only minor complaint, they messed with my headlights and turned them off "auto". A day later after an oil change I found 4 screws that had not been put back on my air filter. There were supposed to be 5. One had gotten lost while I drove around with the screws in the divot of my car near my wipers. The air filter was never re-secured. The inside of my car was also covered in grease, The steering wheel and car door. I am extremely disappointed. I have never been to Valvoline and I only went because I had a Groupon. I have searched the Danbury-Brookfield areas for a good oil change place, THIS ONE gets my vote. Each time I am greeted by polite, smiling and helpful personnel. I have two vehicles and like the way these folks treat my property. Inside is a coffee machine (free) and a vending machine. I find I am in and out in 15-to-20 minutes or so. Every step of the way, I am given clear information and NO PRESSURE. I like I can print coupons for a discount on the service. Did not have a good experience here. I was told it would take 15-20 minutes and I'm still here over an hour later. To start, Jesus, was quite rude. He said "I'm going to help you out since you don't know much about cars". He also kept calling me honey. Tried to upswell me filters (that didn't need changing) and an air conditioner Service for $139. We purchased this car at the end of 2014 and the air-conditioner is functioning quite well. After I left I realize that the windshield wipers they changed were not the right ones. Ends up that they didn't have my windshield wipers for a 2014 CRV and had to refund that amount, which took another 10 minutes. No discount offered. I definitely don't recommend this place.
