God helped me, the grind is endless with these guys. I'm used to an oil change with the filter upsell, but I knew I wasn't going to agree to anything from these people when they came to me with a $189.99 transmission service recommendation for a car with a sealed transmission. So you didn't check my transmission you just know it needs servicing. I was half tempted to say yes to this only to find out whether or not they would admit that they have no way of doing it even if they wanted to. It was about $30 more than I normally pay for an oil change, considering it came with a "free" car wash that's probably about right. From what I understand people pay $27 at Mike's which I will NEVER understand why people spend so much money on car washes here. Anyway they did their job. It's fine, but I probably won't go back.

I parked behind the car leaving next, left my keys inside, and sat in the waiting room. It was a small space, no coffee, no frills, but I was in and out in about 15 minutes, so no complaints. Besides, Starbucks is near by, as is Mc Donald's. The staff was informative, honest, and friendly, and I received a discount on my next service. While I was only there for an oil change, he did a general inspection under the hood and noticed my air filter was gross. But basically I was given options such as: "hey you can buy these parts brand new, but also if you would like, we could apply a method where we could re shape these cylinders to fit properly again and that would be just as good and save you a lot of money" (again sorry if that isn't exactly right due to my lack of auto experience) They wanted my truck to run like the American beauty that she is, and that I had a reliable Vehicle that could sustain my two hour a day work commute. I noted that a fictitious scrape is not going to unscrew a bolt! Then he said I put the bolt in crooked, when I noted that it was probably damaged by his worker and that's why it fell out! If the bolt had not fallen out because of poor work, I would not have been putting a new one in! Now they say the oil pan is bent. Also suggested a fan belt, not realizing they just replaced it on this very service. THEY SIMPLY DID NOT TIGHTEN THE BOLT ENOUGH AND IT FELL OUT AND THEY WONT ADMIT IT AND WANT TO BLAME US! Car handles beautifully. wheel is perfectly level. While in shop Mechanic gravity bled the brakes. Now the pedal is nice and firm again. My alignment was $149 and bleed was $40.50 (he supplied the fluid). The owner runs the shop, and his sister runs the office. They both impressed me as intelligent and pleasant people. They both thanked me more than once for my business. I'll return again.
