I have been a loyal customer of this location for several years, which is why I'm especially disappointed to be writing this review. I visited for what should have been a routine oil change. After the service, my vehicle displayed a message indicating that it needed 2 additional quarts of oil. I immediately brought this to the attention of the employee, "D," while she was resetting the engine oil life monitor. She assured me not to worry and said the warning would disappear once I drove the vehicle. Unfortunately, after driving for a while, the message was still there. I returned to the shop expecting the issue to be addressed professionally. Instead, I was met with an attitude that made me feel as though correcting the problem was an inconvenience rather than taking responsibility for the service that had just been performed. As someone who has trusted this location with my own vehicles and my family's vehicles for years, this experience was extremely disappointing. Quality customer service includes standing behind your work and treating loyal customers with respect. Sadly, because of this experience, I will no longer be bringing my vehicles--or recommending this location to my family and friends. read more

At first I thought how convenient! My first time going here and there was no line which was great cause it was a hot day. I pulled in and at first the lady was nice. I asked for an oil change and overall check on fluids, tires, etc. Once they opened the hood she said they don't have the drain plug for a Mercedes and they can't do the oil change. What frustrated me the most was she said that with no solution. I asked if I can go to another location, if she can see when they will get that part in. At first she said they don't get it directly from Mercedes then said they sold out and likely other locations don't have it. She didn't confirm or try at least to help. It genuinely felt like they were brushing me off because it was a hot day. Then I asked if they can at least check my tires. She said it's $10 to check my tires and fluids. She asked if I'm sure I don't want them checking fluids and at this point I felt so uncomfortable I said no just check the tires. They literally put air in it for half a second and it was still low and after two days of driving the tire lights were still on. So I paid $10 for nothing which is the least of my concern and not the reason for this review. When I asked her to double check she gave me a weird look like you have to drive it for the lights to go away but when I left the pressure went lower. I'm overall extremely disappointed and I myself work in the auto industry and it's frustrating to have an experience like this. Will never go back. read more

A few days after getting my oil change, air filter, and tires rotated the engine light to turn on. Had to bring it to the dealership to check what was going on and they said the air filter was not closed correctly and damaged the sensor. They also constantly lose bolts when replacing the splash guard beneath my car. Highly recommend going elsewhere. The speed at which they service your car comes at a cost. read more

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I came in for a basic oil change and ended up waiting over 2 hours. No communication, no updates, no sense of urgency whatsoever. If you're going to take that long, at least be honest upfront so customers can make an informed decision. Instead, you're left sitting around wondering what's going on while staff act like this is normal. An oil change should not take two hours. There are far better options in Glendale -- I won't be coming back and would not recommend this location to anyone who values their time. read more

So there was a time when Fast Oil Change Places had a bad reputation. I even think I read an article about it here in LA. This venue is Not one of those bad places!!! After going over the cost savings of doing my own oil change I realized that going to an Oil Change place is worth it when you factor in the time it takes to dispose of the oil, the mess, etc. After reading great reviews I decided to give this place a shot and man was I right in going to Valvoline. I went to this location and was told I had a transmission leak after I decided that I did not want the transmission service. I then took it back to the actual dealership and was properly advised. My transmission was completely fine. However the oil filler that this location used was what was actually causing the leak. read more

Have always had good experiences with Valvoline in the past. Oil started leaking right after getting an oil change at this location. After filing a claim the manager said they installed a faulty part and I was refunded for my oil change. I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Valvoline in Glendale. I sent my 18-year-old son in for his first solo oil change, and asked him to get either conventional or synthetic oil. Instead, they put in "advanced synthetic" and charged him over $100, even after applying coupons. The owner, Daniel, claims the different oil options were explained to my son -- but my son says that never happened. As someone who has *never* used this expensive blend in my car, I find it hard to believe he would have knowingly agreed to it. This feels like a classic case of taking advantage of a young, inexperienced customer. I chose this location because I believed it to be affordable and trustworthy. Still upset about the original lack of transparency and attitude from the previous representative but Jordan deserves praise. Horrible customer service. The worker who was initially working with me (maybe a manager) was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I will be checking with my mechanic on Tuesday to make sure everything is in place the way i brought it in. All i wanted was an oil change and they started tearing my car apart and doing things that i did not ask for. When I inquired about it, the guy started trying to get aggressive with me and insulting. Quick and friendly service. I don't time them but it does seem to only take about 15 min. Usually there's no wait when I go so I'm in and out of there quickly. Sales people aren't pushy and they seem pretty honest about whether other services other than oil change are necessary. Sign up for their emails and you can get coupons! I don't recommend this place for an oil change. Stay away from the worker, Ki because she will mess up your car. I went in for an oil change, left on good terms. The next day when I drove my car I heard scraping of metal. Ki did not secure my Civic's skid plate correctly and a part of the plastic got cracked on my car. I found out through a mechanic that Ki either used wrong screws or did not put them all in place. I called them back explaining what happened and yes they corrected their mistake. Daniel ordered a new Honda part to replace what was damaged. But what did not settle for me was there was zero apology or accountability. I was told "out of courtesy" we will replace what was damaged and give you all new screws for your skid plate. Even though they were the reason my car was left in that state. Please stay away and go to Jiffy lube for fast good services read more

Honestly, staff is really nice. I come here all the time at least 3 times every 6 months. The guys are super nice helpful they do a little check on your car for free they let you know what needs to be changed and what not. You can already see yelp gives a coupon for 20%. I'm happy with the price usually and Happy with the service they are pretty quick. I usually come there when there is no line. So that's a factor. I have been going to the Valvoline instant oil change for over a decade. They are easier to just get my oil change done than going to my mechanic. I happened to be working near this Valvoline as opposed to the one I normally go to, and I was getting ready to take a long drive so I went to get an oil change. I knew I was early but my car tends to burn oil a little bit. Instead of just charging me for the oil change and going about their way, the person who helped me - whom I believe might've been the supervisor on duty at the time - talked me down and told me well you have 900 miles to go before you need another oil change but we can top off your oil for you and check your other fluids and your tires and what have you. So instead of paying $89 like I normally do for the Semisynthetic Oil change, I paid $13 to get my oil topped off and checked fluids and check the tires and have a happy and safe trip. This is why I go to Valvoline. See you guys for the next oil change. read more

I had changed oil on Sunday, March 24 at Valvoline Glendale, I believe it's about 4:35pm FULL Synthetic Oil Change. At first, verything was ok. The guy who was behind the computer was great and friendly. He was checking my Jeep against the checklist from the system and he offered a liquid to be mixed in my gas and I said yes. The other guy named Christian was the one who's doing the job directly to my jeep, checked my head lights and AC filter too. Christian showed me the dirty filter so i asked him to change a new one. I asked him if he can double check my tires too coz they were all 32 psi each and he immediately replied that he already did inflated. I was soo happy that he already did the job before i ask so I handed $5 cash to him as his tip and I asked him to inform his colleague to see me so i can give the other $5. Christian said that he'll take $5 from me and give it to his colleague. I handed over $10 in total to Christian (2 x $5). I ended up paying for another $60+ on top of the Groupon Voucher that I bought for $63.59 (Total $120++). From Valvoline Glendale, I went straight to Eagle Rock Plaza to grab some groceries but when i checked monitor, the tires in my left side (both front & back) are 32 & 33psi and the other tires in my right are both 36. CHRISTIAN DID LIE TO ME!!!! Lesson learned: DO NOT GIVE TIPS & ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE LEAVING. read more
