Hello everyone , I want to share my experience with Sam & Tigran . I own several cars , From American classics to Japanese classics and modern Prius's. I've known Sam for many many years , he is one person I can can vouch for , as he is honest, trustworthy, and very very knowledgeable in the automotive field. This is going to be a long read, so just to prepare yourself. We first brought Sam our 2010 Toyota Prius, we have had it since new. Over the years it got miles racked up on it . And the head gasket failed. Sam and Tigran took amazing care of the Prius & it runs just like new ! My 2008 Prius had an inverter issue And something fail in the cluster. Sam and Tigran came to the rescue. My 2014 Prius Sam is doing the maintenance on it . New tires oil change All 3 Prius he installed catalytic converter shields . My 2012 fusion 2.5 Sam found the issue and fixed it , maintenance is done with him as well. My 1993 Toyota Celica convertible Sam brought it back to life . And checked the brakes . Fixed them as well. My 1969 ford Galaxie 500 This one was very special to me & a big project. I was injured & needed it to be repaired. So I took it to Sam's shop. Sam tuned the edelbrock carb Cleaned the tank New filler neck And got the timing perfect. The car runs amazing. Words cannot express how happy I am with Sam. I want to leave it at this , if you have a classic car here in Eagle rock , bring it to Sam, A Prius , or anything with wheels. Amazingly Good Customer Service! Day before yesterday, I called Sam at AMJ to ask about his availability to conduct a smog check on my car. Even though I did not tell him my name, he remembered me from my prior visit 17 months ago! He even remembered that he had worked on my son's car as well over two years ago. I was in a bind. The night before Xmas-eve and the regulator on my driver side window went out. That means my window rolled down and would not roll back up! I was with my previous mechanic in my old neighborhood for years, he was polite, honest, and always extremely reasonable. It bummed me out that I had to find a new shop cuz I moved too far but after taking my car here I'm feeling at ease. Called up to see if he would have time to do an oil change, tire rotation, maybe brakes and general tune up. He was super busy but I brought my car in yesterday afternoon and he had it ready today by 2:00pm. The pricing was very reasonable! He said I've got plenty of time before I need new brakes, which is nice of him to be honest about that. And I really like Sam and the other mechanic Junior. I love this place! I found AMJ and Sam on a whim. My splash shield under my car was falling down and I stopped in to see if he could fix it. He took 5 minutes and fixed it on the spot (for free)! Since then he's replaced my breaks, handled 2 service engine light issues, does all of my oil changes, and even offered to find a replacement visor for my car (she's 13 years old and has seen a lot lol). Every time I reach out to Sam he makes time for me promptly, is always so nice and communicative. He is trustworthy and is easily the best shop I've been to. Very friendly people! I recently lost a leg, so getting in and out of my car is a bit difficult. I have to hop around on one leg and crutches, which I'm still getting used to. So every time I come here for a car wash or gas, the mechanic is always quick to come to my car and help me out, so that I don't have to get out of my car. He's very friendly, and saves me a lot of the hassle that comes with trying to get around and do things on one leg. And he always seems very friendly, and happy to help.
