I had a Groupon so I only paid the taxes but if I didn't have a Groupon it would have been cheaper than the dealer. They checked all my fluids but they did not clean my windows or vacuum my car which is something the other "quick" oils change place does. The price was to be expected and fair. The staff is friendly. The disappointing thing is I waited in line for around 10 to 15 minutes and then the oil change itself took around 40 minutes. That's unacceptable win the whole companies tagline is "instant oil change " I'll try out some different franchise locations next time before I come back here. read more

I have gone to this Vavoline twice now and they're the nicest people in the world. I've had GREAT experiences there. They are efficient and always so kind. I've gotten a regular oil change and on the transmission. They make it such an easy process. As a woman, they make the process so comfortable. I value how I feel driving out of there - just very appreciative of their kindness and extra mile service. My second one took a little longer than they expected, but they checked in with me every few minutes. I couldn't recommend this location enough! read more

Terrible experience. Get in line, they scan our car- maybe check then to make sure you have what we need!! - wait 20 min on line - move up to bay to be next, then get told to move back into line as they did not have fluid for car in bay in front of us. That allowed 3 cars to cut in front of us. Complained this was not fair but we still end up in the back of the line. We stayed only as we are visiting here and did not want to find another one. Finally after another long wait of 30 min we get up in bay only to be told they don't have our filter. Total waste of at least an hour of our time and so frustrating. Only one young worker seemed to care at all. Ridiculous! read more

This is awesome! No matter how busy they are, everyone always has a good attitude, great energy, and are always ready to answer questions. I appreciated the attention to detail like headlights, turn signals and brake light check. These are items usually are missed or forgotten when I get home. The sign says "got 15 minutes get a Oil change". It took me two hours and 40 minutes to get a simple oil change. I pulled up 12 minutes after they opened at 8:12 and left at 10:52. I would never have gone there if I would have known it was going to take up that much of my precious free time. To be clear, the young man who are doing a tough job put out a lot of effort. I've never really seen anybody standing around. I paid $113 for this. from now on I'm just going to my regular mechanic. I've been here twice and both times took so much longer than the estimated time. The first time they dropped a cap into my engine and three people sent twenty minutes trying to get it out and then as soon as they did they shooed me out, no apology or anything. The second time was better. The man who worked on my car was very nice and once he started working it was done quickly but, I did wait over ten minutes before anyone even looked at my car. It wouldn't be so annoying if they didn't jump on the car of the person who pulled in the bay next to me a full ten minutes after I arrived. I also hate that you have to wait in your car. It is hot, and in my experience takes forever. Finally, the other oil change place I go to tells me when I need other things done, such as a tire rotation and ask me if I want it done today. This place just checks things off and says nothing. I need somewhere that will tell me what to do. read more

The techs here are always very polite and honest. I've never had to wait more than 20-30 minutes.

The guys and girls here are always friendly and don't harass me to upgrade my oil change or buy additional services. There's always more than one lane open and it never takes long. They also send me a coupon every time I'm due for a change. I like that they are open on Sundays. I also love that you can stop by anytime between your last oil change and 3,000 miles and they will check all fluid levels and your tires and add fluids or air if needed for free. That has helped me out several times. Valvoline continues to be my go-to stop for oil changes. Oh, and they have those wacky, wavy, dancing, blow up things that I can stare at while they work on my car. SCORE! read more

This by far has got to be the absolute best customer service I've ever had-especially dealing with a car. As a female, I HATE going to do anything automotive related because I always feel demeaned and get harassed about trying to buy things I don't really need. (Have you ever just tried to buy two tires?? UGH!) To be honest, I thought that me pulling up at 6:20 yesterday after work when they close at 7 was kind of rude of me, assuming these guys are exhausted and this would take time...but they greeted me cheerfully (yes, not just nice but cheerfully), and immediately took care of me. I expected them to be short and blunt, not too excited, and was ok with that, because I very carelessly haven't checked my oil in a while and it was dangerously low, and my guy friend told me I was on borrowed time and urged me to not even drive home like this after seeing my oil stick...so I felt desperate and just stopped here.They explained to me exactly what they were doing for me/my vehicle, made small talk, and showed me that my air filter wasn't looking too good, but said it wasn't the end of the world and I could come back in a few weeks to switch it out for only $21.99 I believe he said. Seriously, I'm very impressed with the level of service I received yesterday..I didn't know that getting an oil change could be somewhat enjoyable or be completed so quickly. I think I was in and out in 15-20 minutes...I left feeling very informed and trusted everything they said. As I was getting ready to leave, I was on the phone with my mom and she was like "they sound so nice in Tennessee!" and I said "Not usually THIS nice..WOW"... Those boys deserve a MAJOR raise...it is one thing to be efficient at your job and know how to, for example, check out the belts and oil levels..but to excel at customer service, and create a now repeat customer (and impress a customer who tells EVERYBODY where to go or where to avoid), is a rarity..if I was in charge over there, I would give all of them at minimum a 5% raise. Some new guys were working today. Unlike the regular folks at this location, service was not as great. They did not reset my oil change indicator. They were just talking more than working today. There was three people working on my car, one out of the three was running around doing everything. I got oil change done for 9735 miles but my next oil change reminder sticker says 9681 miles. This used to be my go-to place for oil checks, top ups, check engine light readings, etc... But lately they've been a LOT slower than usual and my experiences there have been really hit and miss. It seems like I used to never have to wait more than 10-maybe 15 minutes- including the time to have the service done. The past few times I've been it's been at least a 20 minute wait just to get in. The last time I was there I waited over 30 minutes, plus the time it took to refill fluids, check oil, tires, etc. Overall almost an over 40 minute trip. I really appreciate the amount of services they offer for free, but the wait is starting to bug me. Used to this would be a true quick-service place, but I think some of the people that used to be there are gone and now it's just not as speedy. I'll still go because it's the closest place to me, but I wish they would at least be honest about the wait times. And it would be nice (if it's going to be that long of a wait) if they offered to let you wait inside. Also...they do like to upsell products (like any car place) so be careful. One time they showed me a clean air filter and told me it was dirty & I needed to replace it...they are always honest about the oil though. They won't try to get me to buy an oil change just because it's "time" to if the oil is still clean. I think what would really help is if they scheduled people to work a certain bay because it seems like they'll just have a couple of people who are jumping from car to car instead of just one person who can spend 5 minutes working on your car. I've been coming to this location for several years. At first the service and staff were five-star, but in the past year not so much. The last time I was here whoever was in the pit left the washer off the oil pan nut and tried to tell me the leak was coming from the top. I didn't have any leaks until this visit. I took my car to my regular mechanic, who told me what happened, brought me under the car and showed me the visible leak from the nut and said it was obviously the fault of the person who changed my oil. $50 to fix it. read more

I've been here a few times, and never received great service but it got the job done. Today, I pulled in and the gentleman came to ask me what I needed. I asked for a full synthetic blend oil change. He said okay, it'll be about 10 minutes. Over an hour goes by, and I finally pull in only for them to tell me they are out of synthetic oil. Not only that, they were hardly sympathetic for my wait or waste of time. I understand things happen and sometimes you run out of stuff. That's not anyone's fault. But the way it was handled was absolutely inconsiderate. I called the Murfreesboro Valvoline to make sure they had synthetic oil and after telling Amber my situation, she was so helpful and emailed a coupon. Service was quick and extremely friendly, which is not something I normally expect at a shop. I know is their job to suggest other services when getting an oil change, so I don't mind them. Normally they're very pushy though, and not is not the case here. Greg (I think was his name) was very helpful and friendly but not pushy what so ever. My low oil light always comes on about halfway before I need another oil change and they informed me that I can stop by for a free top off when that happens! I went to get my oil changed at Hermitage location on Andrew Jackson, they showed me air filter.when I told them my husband would replace it, i thought they would put it back just how it was. Two days later,my husband went to replace it. Not only was a screw missing, one was not screwed in and ready to fall out. Then you top it off,they didn't reconnect the hose, the clamp was just hanging there. So they were ticked I wasn't getting a new one, so just threw the old one back in and called it good. This was my first visit. Will NEVER go back. Don't want to take a change of them messing up something really bad. Not worth it! read more

I am extremely disappointed with your Jackson Tennessee store. They denied service to close early, saying they are done at 4:30 not 5:00. That may be true but they need to advertise that.
