Firestone saved the day! My daughter drove from Indiana to Nashville and there was a bad shaking when she would brake on the highway. It was a problem we thought we recently had fixed in Indiana. She didn't feel safe driving it home. We called Firestone in Brentwood and Dalton said no problem, just bring it in. Within maybe 2 hours, they found the problem, fixed it, and had her on her way to she could return home the next day. Every time I have brought my car in one of the employees always feel need to talk back and talk down to me as a customer. Especially the employee Jon. He is always rude and wants to tell you how to do something. I have had multiple interactions with Jon and a few other employees that have been rude to me and the person I'm with. I have several warranties with Firestone but after this past interaction I will no longer be using Firestone. I do not feel valued as a paying customer that has always paid in cash. Went earlier in the week (Tuesday) and the alignment fell out and was messed up by Thursday. We called this morning (Saturday) around 7 and they told us to come around 9:30-10. All that was needed was to look at and fix the alignment. Once we got there the guy at the front desk said that they "didn't know if they could fix it". We sat for 2ish hours waiting on them to even put it on the lift, to start the alignment. After they finished, and went to pull it back around to the front, they got in the truck and gassed it multiple times. Not in a "just driving it" kind of way but in a "trying to make it be loud" way. After they pulled it around the mechanic came to the desk and began to disrespectfully say that it was my boyfriend's fault that the alignment messed up, not theirs. Then later said that the first time it was there they "didn't adjust the camber". Their reasoning is that it's a lifted truck and they "don't usually work on lifted trucks". While I understand there is a difference between stock and lifted, we've both been to other locations of firestones and NEVER had a problem with it or had anything said about it. We both have lifted vehicles. As well as us both having lifetime alignments. Again, I completely understand that there's a difference between stock and not, I understand that it may be more tedious, or complicated. What I do not and will not EVER understand is being disrespectful, condescending, or rude just to prove a point and justify not doing the job you're being paid to do. read more

Total clown show. They sell you a lifetime brake program for $1100 and change all the rules. It only covers the pads and not the labor. They also press you into false repair's using scare tactics. If you don't understand cars, they will scare you into repairs not necessary. Stay away read more

Complete Joke of a Firestone. Very disappointing. I was charged about 150 dollars to get told "my car has to much rust and they cant do anything" not even my free tire rotation. I took the "rusted out car" to another Firestone and they had NO ISSUES replacing my tie rod and doing the wheel aliment and tire rotation. Brentwood Firestone Doesn't care about fixing your car unless its a brand new car that has no issues. read more

We have a long list of vehicles on file at this shop, having patronized this particular location since 2002. We have returned to this store time and again because they take god care of our vehicles and treat us like family. Family they like. ;-) We have referred our friends because we know they will get more than fair treatment, as well. The GM, Tim, has bent over backwards to help us over the years .... been honest in advising us, even to the extent of telling us that "honestly, that issue is outside our wheelhouse". Much respect and appreciation for that!And last week he went WAY above and beyond the call of duty. Our UT student had an issue in Knoxville & she went to a local Firestone for help. Not being able to get in touch with her Dad for guidance, she called Tim. He called the service manager at the Knoxville store and helped work out the issue. Having Tim advocate for us was not a surprise. He and his team have always been more than fair when we bought tires or had repairs done, over these past years. But the fact hat he went out of his way to take care of our daughter, like she was his own....that was AWESOME! Two stars only because the staff was nice and very efficient. Brought my car in due to a sound in my engine, was told it was the AC compressor, asked for a quote and was given a price of $1600. Charging me $800 for a new compressor, which is totally outrageous (you can find them brand new for max $400). Ripping people off is obviously their specialty, because I called a LOCAL auto shop and with the tow, parts, and labor it equaled out to $850!!!! Will never recommend this place to anyone. Highly recommend avoiding this place... I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation that I had rescheduled from a weekend to a weekday early morning as they said it would take me about 45 minutes. Nearly 2 1/2 hours later they finished the oil change and rotation and called me up three separate times to try and upsell me on services, including a firestone credit card. Said twenty more minutes and proceeded to take an additional hour. When reviewing the invoice noticed that they had up charged me for a service I didn't ask for at the time I released my car to them. I had some lights come on for ABS on a Saturday and immediately took it in to ask if it was safe to drive. The guy said yes. I knew I needed new brakes anyway, so made an appt for that Monday to wait with the car during service. 2 hours into waiting on Monday, they said they diagnosed it as something where my brakes could fail at any moment, so they hadn't/wouldn't change my brakes, and I needed to take it to a dealer. After 8 hours at the dealer, they said the part is under warranty and it is totally safe to drive otherwise! So I lost several hours at firestone and still don't have new brakes due to insufficient knowledge on their part read more

After dealing with a flat tire from debris that was on the interstate and dealing with my insurance person trying to find my location (which he was no help) , I called this location because it was the closest to where I had the flat tire, plus my tires were purchased from the Firestone in hermitage and I had bought the road hazard deal! Jessie answered my frantic call and was able to help me and even though they did not have my specific tire, she found it-had it delivered to their store and by the time my car was towed to their location, they took my car in fixed it within less than 30 minutes! The folks at Church Street Firestone always do a great job. They re fast, polite, and trustworthy. I bring all 5 of my cars here for service. Florin Ciorton goes out of his way to help me save money on my repairs and explain any recommended services. I can send my wife and daughter here for service and know it will be done right and they won't rip them off. The dealership told me my daughters vehicle needed new brakes. I wish I could say I had a fantastic experience at this Firestone, but it was very disappointing. Everyone I spoke with at this location was very friendly. The offices and waiting room were very clean and neat. But that's where the positive experience ends. I took my car in after I had driven it across the country. I could feel that I needed brakes, but I also wanted to have it looked over to make sure the rest of the car was in good shape after the trip. I called and made an appointment and said that I thought I needed brakes and wanted to get my oil changed and tires rotated. I didn't mention the miles I'd just put on the car because I wanted to wait and see what they told me. I was an easy target: I had out of state plates, an out of state phone number, and had said that I might wait on the car while they did the work. I'm sure they thought I was brand new to town and knew no one, none of which is true. Plus I'm a chick. Everyone tries to take advantage of me when it comes to cars. Once they had changed the oil, rotated the tires, and examined the car, they called me over to the desk to tell me everything I needed to have done to the car. They told me I had 50% of my brakes left, which was odd for so many reasons: the car has 60,000 miles on it and the brakes have never been replaced; before I left on my trip the shop I've taken six cars to over ten years told me I had 30% left (I trust them implicitly); I could feel that they were worn and needed replacing. The strangest part, though, was that they told me I had 50% of the pads left and still needed to replace the pads *and* rotors. I'm still trying to figure that one out, all these weeks later. I also want to note that I asked them to put nitrogen back in my tires after they rotated them and they didn't. When I asked about it I was told they could do it for $30. The nitrogen that goes into tires is 80% air sooo... no thanks? Then the gentleman handed me a three page list of things I needed to have done, including: --Replacing all shocks --Replacing the oil pan (told me this after they had already changed the oil) --An alignment --A new battery --Brake pads --Rotors --A brake fluid flush (because that doesn't come with new brakes...) All of this totaled well over $1,000 and I was very skeptical about what they were telling me, so I told them I'd wait. I left and promptly called a friend's husband who isn't a mechanic but does all of the work on all of their cars. He took a look at my car and said he didn't think it needed anything except brake pads. But that I was definitely below 50% of my brake pads. A few weeks later I made an appointment with a dealership. When I called them, all I said was that I driven my car across the country and wanted to have it inspected. They said my brakes were almost completely gone, that I was almost metal on metal. I'm not sure what that translates to as a percentage, but I feel pretty confident it's below 50%. They said that my shocks were fine, my battery was like new, there was absolutely no need for an alignment. They replaced my brakes for less than half the cost Firestone was going to charge me for the brake pads (and that included brake fluid) and they did it in about the same amount of time it took Firestone to change my oil and rotate my tires. I went to Firestone because of brand name recognition and because I hadn't developed a relationship with a dealer or mechanic here yet. I'll never go to another Firestone after this experience. I will never, ever trust a single thing Firestone says about my car. I don't recommend this shop at all (on the plus side, I now have a dealer I trust). read more

I would not recommend and will not go back. I went to get a flat tire replaced and they tried to take advantage of me whenever possible. When they told my tire needed replaced and could not be repaired I asked if the price of the tire included balancing fees and all other fees and I was told yes that is the total price. When I went to pay they had added over $100 of labor fees and when I asked why they had told me there were no additional fees that said well technically I didn't use the word labor in my question. Very disappointed with the customer service here. They knew what I was asking initially yet chose to lie and charge fees I was told would not be added. read more

Before moving from Nashville, I visited this Firestone several times. I always had a nice experience and, as a single female, that is saying a lot. They were always friendly and never tried to up-sell anything. I moved this past week to Texas and had an issue with my car. When I called, Mike, the service manager, went above and beyond the call of duty to take care of everything. Excellent customer service and all around experience.
