I was familiar with the process since I a few months earlier I had another car given a ceramic coating at another detail shop and was very pleased with the outcome. I decided to give Detail Guys a try since they did such a good job on removing the scratch and the price was a little lower. The coating was applied in mid-November and I was not satisfied with how sleek the paint felt. It did not compare with my other car. I knew it takes about a week for the coating to fully cure so I waited to see if there was improvement and there was not. Weeks later I had an errand that would take me right past Detail Guy's shop so I stopped in to express my dissatisfaction on how sleek the vehicle felt. They agreed it did not have the feel that it should and they had me bring the vehicle back in to apply another coating. Because another vehicle was successfully given a ceramic coating using the same bottle of Magna Shine Cerama Kote, they called the supplier to discuss what might have caused the different results. One possibility was that the shop was not warm enough for the product to properly bond to the surface. The second application was done in warmer conditions and the result was totally different - the Pacifica is very very smooth and shiny. I am now totally satisfied and I appreciate Detail Guys standing behind their work and applying a second ceramic coating. They said the maker of Magna Shine Cerama Kote is now putting directions on the label to apply it within a certain temperature range.

As I was driving in the right hand lane, the driver decided he would drag race me and then proceeded to nearly smash the front end of my car with the vehicle he was towing, he did at least use a turn signal for the lane change. As if matters weren't bad enough at this point, he proceeded to show me his proficient use of the middle finger when I passed him. When you work in the customer service industry and are flashing your boss's name on your vehicle, best not to behave like this. I only gave one star because I had to.

How does showing a cell phone require me prohibiting anyone from speaking at any time? It doesn't. And when he called me ma'am, I said my preferred title is Dr and it was not respected; he rolled his eyes. If my preferred pronouns were they, I suspect that wouldn't be respected either. Both disrespectful and prejudicial. Cherry on top--I called back and they refused my call or blocked my number. Super duper professional. If I were you--take your car to the BMW dealer. You'll be treated more respectfully even if you pay more. It would be worth it rather than feeling like a stupid little black girl who doesn't know anything about cars. Do better.

My car broke down after visiting my sister back home in Jackson for her birthday. Luckily, we were…read morenot far from town and were able to get help. I had my car towed to Crank-n-Go after a quick Google search as I no longer live in the area and had no idea where to go. I've gone to other Jackson area places when I lived there and nothing but hassle. I digress. Google has this rated at 4.9 and the choice was made. Bill and his crew are absolute gems to work with. He called me first thing Monday morning and asked me what the problem was. Unfortunately, it was nothing good and much more expensive than I had hoped, but that's how it is with cars sometimes. When I picked up my vehicle, they made sure to show me the damaged parts and even lifted the car so I could see underneath. I honestly had never seen the underside of my car ever. They even sealed up a crack in my exhaust that GM quoted me over $2k to fix. The car runs as it should and I have been driving it all over the state ever since. Bill also texted to check up on the car's performance a few days later, which I've never had. Hopefully I don't break down in Jackson again, but if I ever do, it's going there again. After dropping off the kids, i went to St. John's church. In checking out the tires, one looked way more flat than low. After Mass, I called AAA for help. The young man assisted with inflating all the tires. 3 were low, but the 4th had only had 5# pressure. He suggested that i get it checked before driving back to OH. He referred me to Regal Tires saying they would definitely help with minimal wait time. I drove straight there and was instantly welcomed. EVERY person on the staff was professional, friendly and reassuring. They immediately noticed a screw and promptly acted to repair the tire. It was fixed within a shorter period of time than i ever expected, and, they graciously waived the charge!!! They didn't know that TODAY is my birthday, and service, expertise and kindness of Regal's team was such an unexpected gift. Thank you so much.

There was mold on the floors, seats, dash, and ceiling. We contacted a guy named Kyle with Pristine Mobile Detailing and told him "I need a car detailed, that has mold in it" and he quoted her $300 and told her he'd have to take the seats out. The condition was explained to him. I shopped around some for other options but ultimately Kyle was hired. Once he received pictures he raised his price to $400 and said he'd have to take the carpet out too. Kyle came and he ONLY cleaned the mold. He also never removed the seats or the carpet and still charged $400. He claims to have not realized that she asked for a detail and that he thought it was only the mold clean up. He then said he could do the full detail another time for an additional $100. He also said if the mold came back to call and he'd come back. If anyone knows Kyle from the Brooklyn area, we've called, we've texted, and Kyle has yet to respond in any way. Bro if you needed the money, you could've just said so, we got plenty of cars that you could've earned the money on. For additional context, I called several professional carpet cleaning places that quoted the same job at half the cost.
