Top notch service and crew here. What a night and day difference compared to the Palm Bay Valvoline location, where we had a very bad experience at one point. This Melbourne location completely restored our trust in Valvoline's service. Thomas was kind, friendly, and accommodating to us from the very beginning. When we mentioned the bad experience we'd had at the other location, he genuinely checked in on us throughout our visit to make sure everything was going smoothly. That kind of care doesn't go unnoticed. Ryan and Troy were extremely professional getting our oil change done. We let them know we were heading out on a cross-country road trip, and they made sure all fluids were topped off and the basic point inspection included in the service was thoroughly completed -- exactly what we needed for peace of mind on the road. Absolutely unacceptable. After trusting Valvoline with my vehicle, I ended up with a damaged oil pan. Something that clearly happened during their service. Instead of taking responsibility, I've been given nothing but denial and runaround. I returned to their two locations four separate times trying to have the issue properly identified and resolved, giving them every opportunity to make this right. Despite that, nothing effective was done to properly identify or resolve the issue. Mitchell, the area manager over the Palm Bay and Melbourne locations, has now denied my claim AGAIN proving no accountability and no effort to resolve the damage. Just a flat refusal to stand behind their negligent workmanship. This is exactly the kind of behavior that makes people lose trust in companies. Mistakes can happen, but refusing to take responsibility when they do is inexcusable. I'm now stuck paying out of pocket for damage that occurred while my car was in their care, after wasting significant time making multiple trips back and trying to resolve this the right way. The complete lack of professionalism, integrity, and customer care here is shocking. If something goes wrong with your vehicle at Valvoline, don't expect them to help you. My wife went to this shop and the guys were rude and disrespectful. She accidentally drove on the curb and she didn't hear the end of it. They openly ridiculed her over and over again as if she wasn't sitting there hearing them. I wish I could say they made up for it with good work. Less than a week later, her car was overheating and she had to pull over on the side of 95. The bill of service said they checked her coolant and it was ok. So when I had to add 1.25 gallons of coolant, I know they lied. There is no evidence of a leak. We are not going back and I suggest you avoid this place. read more

The manager Peter is rude and cares more about making sure he isn't helpful than his customers. The oil changes are also severely overpriced. We've had multiple oil changes at previous places and this place charged $30 more for the same service as well as performed services that we did not agree to nor did they ask if they could do them. When I brought this up to the manager, he refused to reimburse me. I had to call corporate to get a refund. They used a more expensive oil change than required, without my permission. His response to my request for a refund of the difference is that I bring my car back in (mind you I waited an hour the first time) and they will drain the oil they used and replace it with the cheaper oil. That would have cost his business more money but he only cared about not admitting he was wrong. I will never go back to this location because of him. Also make sure you're aware of what you SHOULD pay before you go in because they will rip you off! and tell them not to perform any service they would charge for because they do not communicate with their customers! read more

Took my car in was told all my fluids were to be topped off and was sent on my way with not only my fluids not topped off fluids but low. Why wouldn't you sell me the fluids but sell me air filters. A great place to go for an oil change It is located on the north side of Wickham road as part of a car wash complex. I went just for the oil change. It is a drive into the building and stay in your car. The layout is better than other places due to the person on the computer being right next to the driver's door. The place opened on time, the people were friendly, the bay was clean and the service was fast. The prices were reasonable for the service performed. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for an oil change. read more

They tried to upsell her for a $300 service and they forced her to pay for the synthetic oil change instead of the affordable oil change they advertise. I sent my daughter to get a basic oil change.They up sold her to get the higher priced oil. They them upsold her a cabin filter replacement. I had changed the cabin filter 4 or 5​ months ago. It did not need to be changed. They took advantage of her being young and inexperienced. I usually do all my own oil changes, but was in town for only one day and did not have the time. I thought I could trust this place, but apparently... I can't. Calling did no good either. They could care less about screwing people out if money. I've been going to this place for years with my suv- pulled in this morning a little before 9am- Daniel "helped" me- scanned my door and started the process like I have done dozens of times before/ he let me know that the recommended oil for this car was $104, I said no thanks I'll just take the standard oil for my Oil change (around $50?) he said no I can't do that it was has be this Synthetic brand, I said no thanks I get the up sell but I'll just take the same oil change I did a few months back. He again said no, he can't do that and that I have never been here with this car before- false. I even showed him THERE sticker from a few months back, he STILL said no you haven't been here before- can't help you. I gave him yet a third try to make this right, just asked for the same oil change As before- I got another no from Daniel. So I guess Costco is just the place to get everything and now my oil changed. I'm not a fan of "the customer is always right" but Daniel- I had YOUR sticker on my windshield- I've been there before and got a standard oil change. Similar story to others, go in for an oil change say NO Thank You to all the offers: fuel injector, wipers, etc and then they pull out my air filter and compare it to a new one, yes its dirty but No Thank you I'll wait for the next car service. Asked them to be sure and put it (original air filter) back and next week Check Engine Light comes on. Made an appt. with Nissan for the next week and then the engine starts stuttering...next day it cuts out on me while going 55MPH on busy highway. Lucky I was able to make it to the shoulder and wait for a tow. At Nissan, "Miss your air filter was installed backwards causing the MES Sensor to break!!!" OK well fix it I need to work and Valvoline should reimburse me, pretty cut and dry right - negligence on the part of the technician. Called Claims, he investigates and tells me I was over charged for the Labor and they will only pay $470.00 of the 625.00 cost to repair - ($25.00 of this was Lyft). WTH? So they break my car, I had to get towed and fixed, they should pay my AAA membership for the tow, and I have to take a loss? How is this fair? read more

Brought my sons car here to change oil. I have had my oil changed here in my company cars many times. I personally had changed my sons oil the previous time. A day after the oil change my son called and his skid plate was dragging on the ground. When I jacked the car and looked at it.. only two bolts and not even the correct bolts were put back in. One was a sheet rock screw and the other the wrong sized bolt. Remember I changed the oil the previous time.. so I had to go buy a set of all 8 now.. and fix the skid plate since it was now bent badly. Thanks valvoline.. This is second horrible experience we've had with this store. Haven't been back for awhile but decided to give them another try. Took 1 and a 1/2 hours and they never checked lights, tire pressure, fluids, anything! When they went to charge us we asked about all the other services that should have been included ( why we go there and pay much more) they said we are really busy and short staffed. Don't ever go to this place as, not only can they not be trusted but they are deceptive and do inferior work. When our oil was changed, they stripped the oil plug pan and performed a "jury rigged" repair without informing us. They marked on the invoice checklist that the plug was in good condition. After 4,000 miles we went to another facility for our next oil change and the stripped plug and faulty repair was discovered. We returned to Valvoline to address the issue and the manager tried to convince me that a valve lifter had broken away from the engine and had made its way into the oil pan! Yet the engine was functioning perfectly with no tapping or engine noise and no loss of power! Does he think I'm stupid??? Avoid this place!! read more

I'm sad to say that my experience here was terrible. I've come here for years and when it was owned by Mr. car wash it was wonderful! Very kind... Today I was shocked. The people were extremely rude, never once said please or thank you, just shouted out their commands, never once smiled. They were short and rude to one another as well. I felt a need to respond well hoping I could leave a little kindness in case they were just having a bad day but I'm hearing stories that are similar to my experience. They absolutely don't care about their customers. I'm hoping that the owners will call a meeting and encourage their employees to treat the customer well not just try to get them to buy every service! I will not return!
