Just wanted to leave a 5 star review on their terrible workmanship and complete lack of accountability. When my work truck started overheating only when in idle after a radiator replacement, i took it to tires plus by eau gallie. They told me that they had found that a fan assembly had been unplugged. When I contacted Greg, the store manager where they had performed the "work", he implied that I was LYING! How can they have a grown man working there as a store manager that can't even take simple accountability for an obvious mistake. I just wanted store credit for the ac diagnostic and vehicle inspection. They discounted it, but I still paid 90 bucks to find out they almost destroyed my vehicle, then they blamed the disconnected fan motor on the last people to change my oil, even though they're in completely different areas on the engine. Would never go back here. While getting an oil change they said I needed new rear shocks for $800 on my 35,000 mike Toyota RAV4! They showed me oil on the shocks. Hmm, since the piston is on the bottom, oil would have to run up. Sorry no way after you probably put some new crankcase oil on that shock. Now, with 20,000 more mines there is no problem with my shocks. read more

I have used Tires Plus for all my auto needs. I had an emergency where my underbody cover became dislodged due to a high sewer cover in a parking area. It was close to closing time at Tires Plus but the manager Wade took care of me. The technician was efficient and friendly. I stopped by the store today on New Haven Ave West Melbourne. I had a nail in my tire. The guy in the front followed me out told me he would not fix it as he saw another place where there looked like a plug was, That didn't bother me, but his attitude did!! I am a customer as well as a US Army Veteran. I served my country proudly in the 60's. I deserve better than to be treated so rude. He needs to learn how to talk to people. I came home looked over my tires, and they are all getting pretty worn. I am thinking of just replacing all, but it won't be at tire plus!! I fact I just cut up my credit card as I won't ever be going there again. I always bought my tires there, and had other services also. Never Again for Sure!! Stay away!! warning message to all!! I took my car in to ask them to diagnose the power steering issues. After being upsold on a slew of other parts and labor and tires, etc. - my final bill was over $1000 for the "immediate work that needed attention now" which included an oil change. Not to mention an additional $3500 of recommended work that needed to be done ( which I declined ). I got the car back and now I have a basketball size oil leak in my driveway and when I tried to get them to acknowledge the issue, they tried to replace the drain plug 2x times which ( they changed while doing the oil change ) and so there is nothing more they can do and now if I want to fix the oil leak it will cost another $1000 for a new oil pan. When I refused to pay for it and said it wasn't leaking when I brought the car in, then Brian the manager started twisting the story and saying he told me there was an oil and that's why they changed the drain plug, etc, etc. However I told him that's not true, there were no oil leak spots in my driveway prior to bringing my car to them - they changed the drain plug and now it's leaking and refuse to be held responsible. Now that I became upset about it, he said he is simply refusing to do any more work on the car - ever ( because I'm a bad customer ) - They told me "they always change the drain plugs when do the oil and if the last pump and dump place didn't do it, then they should have" - I had the oil changed at Valvoline and this was never an issue and never had an oil leak. Now I stuck with a car leaking oil and they refuse to pay to fix it and refuse responsibility and are now changing their story to say it was leaking when I brought the car in ( although they didn't say that until after they changed the oil and the drain plug ). do yourself and your family a favor - stay away for this place, terrible customer service and always trying to upsell you and $3500 worth of stuff you probably won't ever need in the next 3-5 years - and you will walk away with a bigger problem than when you took the car in. This Tires Plus in Suntree is 100% the place to go for any auto needs. I was concerned about my water pump. Brian was so helpful and made sure that they would be available to do the proper testing to make sure they could diagnose what the car exactly needed. After doing that the Awesome mechanic there concluded the water pump was fine. They are HONEST, HELPFUL and really capable. Took my car in to get all four tires replaced, talked to Chris who was very professional and was all about getting me taken care of. After taking a look at some options we came to the conclusion they didn't have the size I wanted in stock. He recommended a slightly bigger tire that was still OEM. Once installed and on my way home they rubbed. One phone call later and and one additional later, new tires were ordered and installed with no questions asked. This is how you do business. The crooks that work the counter at "tires plus" (in Viera, Fl) should be ashamed of themselves! First of all they absolutely do not price match, and second of all they will bold face lie to you about their competitors, to include pretending to call them and talk to them on the phone. Yes, this actually happened. A grown man at tire plus pretended to be on the phone with a competitor in order to make that competitor's offer look worse. I found this pathetic action despicable! I have had a good experience almost every time I have gone to the tires plus location in Melbourne. All of the staff, except for one, have been very kind. Every time I have gone they have fulfilled my request without any hassle. If they find something wrong they will call you and explain what the problem is clearly and they won't give you a long list of recommendations without reason. Tires plus has been very good to me however I cannot give them a five star review. Every time I go there when the manager Brian is there he is very rude and aggressive. When I talk to other employees they explain things clearly however the few times I talked to Brian it felt like he was talking down to me. read more

Coworker Brought in their car yesterday to have the dash lights looked at and fixed. Had car for 8 hours and when got up this morning the check engine light is on. Brought it back and they charged them an additional 130 (after I spent 1500 yesterday which was 3 times more then was quoted) because they had to re-diagnose it. Took my car in to have two tires replaced. They replaced the two tires, but put the wrong size on. Instead of having 235/65 they put on 235/55. Unfortunately, we didn't find out about this until we had to replace the other two tires. I called and they will only prorate the ones that are incorrect, they will not replace them. The manufacturer only recommends one size so the fact that the wrong size were put on in the first place was their mistake, however they won't make it right. read more

I should have known when I called to make my appointment and the guy on the phone told me he was the new manager and that all the staff had been replaced. After calling the company main number and filling a complaint I was told the area manager would call me back in 48 hours, guess what NO ONE returned my call. Beware! A couple years back when I lived there I took my Miata in for an a/c issue. They diagnosed that my a/c was shot - needed to spend over $1,000 to fix it. I decided I didn't want to spend that as it was a convertible car. 2 years later I planned driving 10 hours in mid summer and knew I would need it. I took the car to Fairway Auto (Marco, the owner is the best and honest as the day is long) he kept it a day and over night to make sure there were no leaks - all the car needed was freon! The a/c worked perfectly on my trip and still working strong 3 months later. As I started this review with BEWARE of this place and those like it. Disappointing experience. I made an appointment 5 days ago to get the tires rotated. I showed up about 10 minutes early to find a few customers in the waiting area but no one at the service desk. A pleasant young man showed up shortly and informed me that they were running between one hour and one and a half hours behind. Reason was a tech called in sick. first of all i want to tell everyone in my opinion they lie about just about everything they tell you about what is wrong with your vehicle. my first visit i took it in to get my oil changed and a safety check also to check my tires to see if there was any problems with flat spots because my truck had been sitting for a while and align my truck. the manager told me my upper balljoints were loose and my tires had flat spots but despite telling me my balljoint were loose they aligned my truck anyway. not believing what he said because i never could get my car aligned if it had bad front end parts i checked the truck myself which isn`t easy for me because i`m going on 70. what i found is the balljoints and the tires had nothing wrong with them. they even went as far as to give me a price for tires. what a mistake that would have been if i had bought new tires. my next visit was to get them to i wanted wanted to see if i got the same lies. will to my surprise i got different lies but told me the parts and tires i was told were bad the first time were good but was told other parts were bad.once again i checked and they were lying.The parts that i was told were bad i took off and brought back to confront them with them and to no surprise to me even after showing them the bad parts also tell them about the previous visit they would take no accountability for any lies they told me.I contacted their corp.office and was told someone would get in touch with me about the problem but it`s been two months and I haven`t heard a peep. so please in my opinion stay away they suck read more

I already know i'm wasting my time because companies like this have horrible business models, doesn't care about brand loyalty and very rarely change due to multiple and consistently negative feedback. With that being said, I will post my experience with this company. I came into the shop because I assumed I blew out my rear differential (what the tow truck driver suggested). My check engine light did not come on until this occurred. When I went to pick up my truck after the service was completed the check engine light was still on. My wife went in the next day to inform the company that the light was still on. She was told by William Cannon that the light was already on as if I had previous issues. It is my understanding that you run a diagnostic in order to know what repairs are needed. I was told that a diagnostic was ran and that I needed the rear differential along with some other smaller parts replaced. If those repairs were done then why would my check engine light still be on? And if there were any additional "issues" you discovered then why wouldn't you tell me so that I can have them repaired? The answer is that I received unsatisfactory service and now i'm being told false information. I do not believe it's your company's standard practice to say that repairs were done and the check light engine is still on. I am not a mechanic so how am I supposed to know if the repairs were done correctly if the check engine light is still on? Is it standard practice to return a customer's vehicle with the check engine light still on, not tell the customer, and that customer is supposed to believe the service was completed and have confidence that the vehicle is safe to drive? I have a 5 and 7 year old that I drive around so this horrible and unsafe service may potentially effect others and not just me. After looking at the previous Yelp reviews, it's safe to say that this company has a history of unsatisfactory service. I write all of this in hopes that others don't have to experience what I went through because the odds of my issue being resolved is next to impossible as well as this company changing its negative business practices. read more

Terrible,worst place I have ever had a vehicle serviced. The quality of work might be ok I do not know yet. The store manager is a pathological liar. The service representativ gave me a quote just to get my business and made promises of completion time and discounts including veterans discount. When I went to pick up the vehicle the bill was $119.79 over what I was quoted and a day late on completion. He promised to apply the discount if I came back to the store. When I did he tried to bargain down the discount and lied to me about his phone call and the actual discount he did apply. The bill was over $1060.00. I call my Discover card and they are refusing the $119.79. I call Tire Plus corporate office and filed a formal complaint which the regional manager will be investigating. Do not trust this Tire Plus location or anything the manager of this store tells you. Run to a competitor. I am giving it one star because the yelp system would not let me give this store a negative star review. read more

This place dicked me around for almost 7 hours. I understand mistakes happen, and there were several, but the manager was not helpful and when I had to get my husband up there to handle it he used the phrase "happy wife happy life" as if my issues were not warranted. I went in for an oil change and was told $100 and one hour. I got sold on a 4 new tires and an alignment and was told the total was going to be $600 and it would be an additional 60-90 minutes. I ended up waiting for 5 hours and then got to the counter and it was over $1000. They made a mistake and did not communicate with me at all. Then the manager was a total ass to me, threatening to not give me my keys after I said to put my old tires back on and comp me the oil change. It took several phone calls to the general manager to resolve the issue all while the store manager pointed fingers at other employees as if he didn't manage that store. It was a truly awful experience and I feel bad for the people who have to work with that guy. After I finally got the tires they quoted me for they refused to do the alignment and when I got in my car the tire pressure light came on. More excuses and finger pointing then they filled my tires to the proper psi and I was home after 7 hours. Not sure if they are incompetent or if there was some deliberate scamming going on but if nothing else is addressed, they need to at least replace the manager or get him some additional training. They have no idea how their incompetence trickled down to cause me so many issues with my day. If you need reliable service, trustworthy quotes, honest communication, and standard customer service, don't bother going here. read more

Dropped my car off at 9:30 for a 10:00 appointment. Shop closes at 4 for an employee meeting. At 3:30 the car had not been touched. Summary: So if you want to be overcharged, with a possibility of being more grossly overcharged, pay for a diagnosis when others don't charge for it, be guided to fix an inconsequential problem and ignore what you came in for, Tires Plus is good to go. We moved to Florida in 1991. I have been using Firestone stores to handle my tires and front end since. In this respect they have done a good job and treated me fairly. Since I moved to Melbourne I feel very differently with regards to the company's auto repairing. I wanted to have the repair done quickly so I trusted Tires Plus. Afterwards I found I could buy this $1250 repair $850 cheaper. Also, Tires plus gave me an up charge option of repairing 2 other unbroken parts for an additional $800 that I luckily refused. Tires Plus said they priced what they did and got similar prices from auto repair stores on Wickham Rd. When I complained, they said I had "buyer's remorse" and boy were they right. I don't know anyone who would not be upset at overpaying 3 times more than they had to. I got the $350 price from someone I have spent over $5000 over the years with who has been extremely reliable and trustworthy. Besides this repair, Tires Plus used a scope for a $100 chargr to make another diagnosis. I checked with 2 mechanics and they don't charge to use the scope. Furthermore Tires Plus diagnosed my problem as a bad O2 sensor when in fact my problem was bad CV joints. So had I relied on Tires Plus I would have had an inconsequential problem repaired for $325 and still had my existing problem. So if you want to be overcharged, with a possibility of being more grossly overcharged, pay for a diagnosis when others don't charge for it, be guided to fix an inconsequential problem and ignore what you came in for, Tires Plus is good to go. read more

I took my Acura in because of a slow leak in the right rear tire. The young man behind the desk checked it and said he saw a nail in the tire but it was in an unrepairable area and the tire would have to be replaced. I took him at his word, he had the exact tire in stock, and the tire was replaced. No problem so far. At the completion of the job, I was told the front tires had only 3/32" tread remaining and would need replacing soon. I was also told the front tires were wearing on the outside and I needed an alignment. I took my Acura to my dealer and was told the front tires had 5/32" of tread, not 3/32" as I was told at Tires Plus. The 5/32" tread depth was uniform across the width of the tire so they were not wearing on the outside as I was told by Tires Plus. Therefore, an alignment was not needed. After I got home I noticed my chrome valve stem cap was missing from the new tire. Careless work. Overall, not a good experience. I will not go back to Tires Plus again. read more

Not happy! Went there on Saturday June 30, 2018 - with an appointment for an oil change -- they told me it would probably be close to an hour but he would would do everything in his power to make it less than an hour. After an hour and 20 minutes i complained about the wait. I was then told then, "I've got good news and bad news" the good news is they started to change the oil and the bad news was they found a nail in my tire and my tire was not repairable. Pleasant man showed me prices on tires - I told them i was going to see if I had purchased the road hazard insurance where i bought the tires. After an hour and 40 minutes i was on my way with a quote for new tires. I looked in my paperwork (tires were only about 5 months old) and yes i had purchased the road hazard insurance - brought my car in there and i was told it was completely repairable - i was in and out in about 30 minutes, maybe less.
