They never seem to have the oil or filter in stock. I have even tried calling in advance, on previous visits. So, it's time to write a review. This location is always staffed with friendly and knowledgeable crew members. If it is too hot or cold, they have a lounge waiting room with a super clean restroom. read more

Brought my car in for inspection, a blonde rather heavy set gentleman approached and asked why I was there, I told him for a State Inspection. He told me to go to the waiting room and he would let me know when he was done. Within 2 minutes he came in and in a condescending voice said I need to purchase new wiper blades because mine won't pass inspection. If I didn't purchase the wiper blades then and there, there was nothing further he could do. I had told him there was nothing wrong with my wiper blades and was he sure they needed replaced and why? He said THATS THE FEDERAL LAW. I told him never mind, I will go elsewhere so he stuck my registration card out to me and stormed off to the garage door where my car was and impatiently started telling me to move out of the stall. My car is a 2023 with 8k miles on it. I was in the automotive business for 20+ years so I knew he wasn't telling me the truth. I went to a neighboring Valvoline store and was treated with nothing but respect. I told him about my experience at the Wesley Stouts location so he reviewed my car himself. Not only did he say there were nothing wrong with my wiper blades and my car was like brand new, he also apologized for my experience I endured. It's a shame to see these deceptive practices still exist in businesses. Not sure if they are taught to deceive the public or if he is just a bad seed within the organization. I believe it's the latter. Needless to say I will not be revisiting this location with any of my other 3 cars but will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB for Deceptive Practices. read more

Hello, I'm very disappointed at Valvoline located at VALVOLINE INSTANT OIL CHANGE BD0018---Indian Trail - Sun Valley MANAGER Brandon Anzaldua 3001 Wesley Chapel Stouts Road Indian Trail, NC 28079 704-774-8599 On March 24 I took my 2013 Cadillac CTS for an oil change at Valvoline which is only 2.6 miles from my residence in Indian Trail, NC I only drove 2.6 miles back home and left it parked there until I had to use it on Friday March 27 to go to Costco. Driving only 5 miles it notice a loud sound coming underneath the car. Valvoline failed to put the plastic skid plate/lower engine splash shield/guard correctly. When my wife arrived at the hotel the maintenance guy used a jack to raise the car and notice only one bolt out of 5 was holding this piece. We took it out since it was making load noise and got scratch severely including a piece got ripped off. My wife spoke with the manager and explain the skid plate got loose so the Manager "Brandon" said he will have his staff re-bolt it again and said he will double check his staff work. When his staff finish the manager told his staff in front of my wife that he trusted him so he decided not to double check. Where is the Manager Professional responsibility here to ensure the job was well done? My wife drove the car back home 2.6 miles and parked it. The next day Saturday she drove only 3 miles and again the skid plate was loose getting severely damage by the road again. She came back home and informed me about it. This time I took the Cadillac to Valvoline with the skid still on making noise all the way. When I arrive the first young blonde lady who worked on it the first time and did a terrible job said it was closing. It was only 4pm. I said i'm here for the same issue for the third time and this needs to be address. The manager came out - I asked him did he double check the work his staff made on Friday to ensure it is done correctly? He responded NO. He personally did it himself this time ensure all 5 bolts are put on a severely damage skid plate. I asked him again - can you kindly confirm all 5 bolts are done - he said yes. I'm not sure why there was only 1 bolt on the first time and 2 bolts on the second time. I guess Valvoline is not like it used to be hiring incompetent staff/Manager to do the job. First the Manager should be fired for not resolving the issue the second time personally. Both previous staff members who did the work should also be fired for doing an incompetent job. I will hope Valvoline had the decency to replace my skid plate as the Manager himself was no help what so ever on my third time there. read more

To make things worse they did not give me my registration back and I have to drive back 20 min to pick it up. I think the workers spent more time among themselves chatting than working. Sure seems like these people have zero training. Thought my 2009 Toyota Prius was a Honda. Three techs were staring under the hood trying to figure out the cooling system and then they almost put the wrong oil in. Brought in my Dodge RAM 2500 for fuel filters change, the second time because I thought they did a good job before, turns out they can't change my 2nd filter because it's in the fuel tank. Okay but no one told me this the 1st time. So now I have to go to the dealership to get it serviced correctly and the other fuel filter is way past due for servicing. I have used Valvoline Instant Oil Change for years in Indian Trail. Recently I discovered this new Wesley Chapel location that is more convenient to me. They did a good job on an Oil Change. When I came back for an Inspection, they failed my wiper blades (in an effort to sell me blades). I have not been happy with their replacement blades in the past,so I had to leave and go to Autozone for quality replacements. Then I had to come back and wait in line again. I'll be going back to the Indian Trail location in the future. read more

My son went to have an oil change in his truck. Once the oil change was complete the total was $87.00. When the gentleman that took told him the price he told him online it showed synthetic at $45.00. The gentleman stated that's promotional only. Promotional means that is the price because that is what you advertised! When I called to talk with them they still stood by their comments. Total crap and I hope that everyone who reads this goes somewhere else. If you advertise a certain amount stick to that!! Promotional?? The staff was friendly and I didn't have a coupon but the worker gave me one without me having to ask. We were in and out in about 20min. They even showed me the dipstick to show the new oil and oil level. The facility was very clean, and the service very professional, I will be back! I would only recommend this place if you enjoy waiting for around 10 minutes to have your car taken in and then to have a bay open and someone pull up and the staff then tells that person to take the open bay while yours still waits. If you don't want someone to walk up to your car at the beginning and talk to you about what you need done then this is the place for you! However if you want good service and to be taken in at the order you came I would suggest somewhere else! read more

$73 for an oil change on a 2011 Jeep Wrangler - failed our vehicle for bad spark plug. Got it repaired - codes cleared - took it back. Excuse now is can not do inspection until it is driven some magical number of miles. No one mentioned that up front. Called to resolve - they could care less. AVOID THIS PLACE! read more
