My brother-in-law suggested I get an oil change here while I was in town visiting. About 8 cars were lined up in the dual bay driveway and the employees were running like a well oiled machine. On the approach I was greeted and some general information exchanged. After moving up a bit I had a lights, signals, etc.. check and my tire pressure was checked too. The friendly crew exchanged light banter with customers and themselves making it very pleasant to wait in line. Before long I was driving in and getting my oil change. As a woman who knows her way around old muscle cars I appreciated the direct information and suggestions on my choices pertaining to choices of oil grades, etc.. and I did go with adding an air filter when they showed mine to me. I require very few things from oil change places but those few are important. Valvoline (formerly an Oil Can Henry's) ticks off the list just fine: - Reasonable prices. Check - Efficient operation. Check - No sales pressure for extras. Check - Don't screw up my oil pan drain plug. Check And that's about it. They also do a routine check on such things as headlights and turn signals, air filter, etc. If you're there for an oil/filter change, you'll be asked what type of oil (standard, synthetic, something else). You'll be asked if you want your tire pressure checked and adjusted. You'll be asked if you want new wipers. All good things and all with zero pressure to buy extras. The people at Valvoline follow the verbal acknowledgment routine whereby one person will announce a step in the process and someone else will acknowledge. A lot of oil change places do that so Valvoline is not particularly ahead of the game there but it gives you a sense that your vehicle is getting proper attention. And it keeps things running smoothly and safely for the business. Recommended. read more

The manager (didn't get his name) was a really down to earth dude, and ran the shop well. Seems like all the workers are happy to be there and everyone's really on the ball (minus the guy in the pit... he seemed mildly disgruntled). Got a coupon and they fixed two lights for nominal fee. I waited for over a hour to get my oil changed.maybe ever two hours. I recently checked under my hood on my car and the battery terminal covers are missing on my battery. I have a newer car and I don't know why someone would steal something like that. then I checked my oil gauge on my car and they over filled it. I paid at least $70 for my oil change and I don't plan on coming back to this place for another one. I guess that's why you shouldn't hire tweakers. read more

Service was quick (no one there getting serviced when I arrived around noon on a Thursday). I was in and out within 15 min for sure. You get to stay in your car the whole time which is more comfortable than the hot sun or sitting in some horrible waiting room. They guys were clean and efficient and offered me additional things but didn't pressure them on me. This is probably where Ill go for every oil change in the future! read more

It's not often you get to take a 1-star review and swap it out for 5 stars. The team at Oil Change Henry's fixed their phone that hadn't been working this morning, got in touch, and worked with me and the Honda service department (where my car was towed to) to determine what was wrong and whether it was the fault of the oil change. Looong story short, the low oil pressure light did not come on at the dealership, but the check engine light was now lit because an unrelated part failed. Why it seemed to be an oil problem last night is a mystery--and by the way, if you learned to read oil levels on a metal dipstick, be warned that freshly changed oil is perfectly invisible on an orange plastic one... So, moral of the story: the guys at this OCH (can we call it that?) were courteous, professional, and went out of their way to provide excellent service. I'm grateful, and I'm glad that last week's oil change was done right after all. read more

It's an oil change place, with guys in funny hats and bow ties. Sometimes, you get a newspaper. Often, you don't. That said, the workers are really nice. I talk to them every time I go in. They get you in and out quickly, and the Smart Shopper almost always has a coupon. They also send coupons to your email right around the time you're due for an oil change. Not bad. read more

They really don't care too much about costumer service anymore. I've been coming here for years and the last oil change I got was pretty impressive, but this was not. They gave me a 15 minute wait time it was close to 45. With no one letting me know it would be longer. They have a safe key policy that they did not preform. They took a car that came in after me before me. It was not a good experience this time around. I'm pretty sure I will not be back. They did not check lights are take off my oil change light. I am happy people have had great experiences so I will only tell you about mine. Look, for $90 dollars to change your oil I hold high expectations. But I will say, pressure to get multiple things done. They showed me my air filters which they admitted were still good but at least blow off the pine needles and feathers that were present instead of putting it back in! Don't half ass wiping the dashboard down! You almost make it look worse by doing that. They also really half assed vacuuming. Maybe everyone has $90 dollars to blowoff and not worry about small stuff like this, but for some of us that's a whole days work. If you want to keep customers coming back, work hard. and a punch card is almost offensive at these prices. read more

4/2/2016 Needed to make a last minute trip to Portland from Bend but couldn't do it before I got my oil changed. I rushed over to the south side Oil Can Henry's where I was welcomed by a very cheery staff of young men. Javier provided me with outstanding customer service! He assured me of the type of oil I needed to be using in my Audi A3 and walked me through the entire Oil Can Henry's process!
