I came in for a routine oil change at the Rosemead location. When I arrived, it was very busy and there were 3 cars being serviced and 3 more waiting ahead of me. Even so, the wait wasn't too bad. Once a spot opened up, I was directed forward. The initial service was smooth. One of the male employees asked what service I needed, scanned my vehicle, checked all of the lights, and inspected the air filter. When it was my turn, another male employee checked the tire pressures. During that process, he removed all of my hubcaps. I was a little concerned about whether he would put it back properly, but I assumed everything would be checked before I leave. A female manager came over to review the information on their system, but I didn't notice a final walk-around inspection of my vehicle. Overall service took about 30 minutes. However, when I got home and checked my wheels, I found that the hubcaps had not been reinstalled correctly, just as I had suspected. Overall, the service was efficient, but I wish more attention had been paid to the small details and the final quality check. Those details make a big difference in the overall customer experience. read more

I always get nervous when it comes to ANYTHING car related but everytime I come here the workers there just make it a lot better and less nerve wrecking. Honest to God, this used to be my favorite place to come. They were always reasonable and always helpful. Always explain things in the way that they needed to be explained. My first challenge came in a few months ago when they said that there were oil leaks underneath the car and they didn't want to touch or to move forward with any oil changes I took the car to get looked at by two different places none of them confirmed oil leaking under the car And to be honest, I was so upset that I just decided not to go back instead of writing a review But this morning I looked at my tire pressure and I decided to pull in just to ask if they can give me some air They want $9.99 to put air in my back left tire Do what that what you will, but I think that's completely ridiculous And they can try and dress it up anyway they want with fake safety procedures and all this other stuff to make themselves look good But everybody who's had a car for at least 15 to 20 years knows that no one has ever charged $9.99 for air I know this review doesn't stop people from coming to this place. I had a terrible experience at Valvoline. I waited over 30 minutes for them to check on my oil change, only to be told they don't have an oil filter that fits my car. What frustrated me the most was the lack of communication from the manager. Instead of addressing the issue directly, she had another worker relay the message to me. It felt completely unprofessional and dismissive. I expected better service and efficiency, especially since I was already waiting for so long. I won't be returning anytime soon! read more

Nice job draining my coolant during the oil change and not taking responsibility for it. Cost 1.5 hours of waiting and $50 at a local shop on top of the $70 oil change. Dunno if you guys only meant to drain a little bit to make me want to add the service but the hot coolant being pressurized shot it all out. Shady business. Never going back here again. read more

It's a "drive thru" oil change so you stay in your car & I was lucky because there was no cars when I arrived on a Thursday afternoon & plenty of employees ready to help. Staff were friendly & felt honest which I appreciated. They also had a 20% off coupon on their website which was great value. Today I went in to get an Oli change for my 2024 Honda Passport. Andres was very helpful and explained to me in detail about the maintenance check up everything came out to be 100% good. I asked one of the technicians about the windshield wipers to check if they were ok. He said it seems to be ok but if you see if the windshield wipers smear on your shield come back and we will replace them .and he told me the price of the windshield wipers. I thought about it. The last time it rained I did see the windshield wipers smearing. So I asked the technician by the name of Rudy to go ahead and change them . So the customer service here is good. I paid 150 for the oil change and filter. The service is quick and fast. I'm not too sure if it's a good thing now because a couple weeks later my car ends up leaking. I ended up taking it to a mechanic who specializes in japanese cars and told me the wrong filter was put in and the oil leak is due to them not closing it properly so i'm not fond of them rushing the work or not trying to do oil changes the correct way read more

I do bring my own filters since I own a Lexus and their filters don't fit my car 100% which causes leaks. Just went to get an oil change. The place I usually go too was busy. So used good 'ole Yelp. This was recommended and it didn't disappoint. First off it's drive-up and you stay in the car. Love how they do everything as you sit in car. You don't have to worry abt mechanics taking advantage of us women. Everything is on the computer, no pressure of like "it has to be done" oil change and cabin filter were changed. I was given a sheet everything else should be done soon.
