Run. Never again. I never imagined going to jiffylube would turn into a situation where I could have gotten seriously injured. I hope no one has to experience what I went through. I went in for a routine oil change at around 11 am and left around 1:30 pm on June 7. While I only came in for an oil change, they told me my brake fluid was low and air filters needed a change. I didn't know any better and told them to do it. They also said they would give me a tire rotation but I didn't have my tire lock key so they didn't do it. I spent exactly $368.99 I left with my splash engine guard not properly installed. Going home was fine until I went on the freeway that night and the splash engine was scraping the bottom of the freeway and lighting sparks. This was not a minor inconvenience, it was a serious safety hazard that could have resulted in an accident or damage to other vehicles on the road. A basic quality check should have caught something this critical before the vehicle was returned to a customer. I have contacted jiffylube corporate, talked to upper management of this site and they refuse to give me a FULL REFUND, only partial. I am extremely disappointed in their service and as someone who doesn't know much about cars, I could have been extremely injured. I am trying to receive a full refund and compensation for all the damages done by my car dealership. It has been difficult to contact management, they are seriously lucky I am not choosing to SUE. I have to go to another dealership and get their damages fixed and pay even more than I have anticipated just for something that should have been a routine oil change. I feel so lucky to even be alive today, please do better jiffy lube. No one should ever bring their car in expecting routine maintenance and instead having to experience this extreme inconvenience. read more

I have been a loyal jiffy lube customer for as long as I have been driving and this is far and above the worst experience I had because of how slow the service was. There were only 4 customers there including myself and I was there for over an hour. It has never been this bad. I have gone to other locations where it was busier and it took me 30 minutes max to get out of there. It seemed like the employees had no urgency in getting through the oil change service and I've seen other locations much more well-ran than this one. Go to the Pasadena or Alhambra locations. Avoid this one at all costs. read more

Brought my car in yesterday for an oil change, everything seems fine at first but after I took the car and drove on the freeway I noticed the scraping sounds underneath the car when I drove with high speed on the freeway, and it never happened before. Try to test on the local streets and it does the same thing, stop the car and take a look underneath and I saw the plastic panel/splash shield weren't attached properly and missing two screws in the front. It was unsafe and unpleasant that it happened, it could have caused damage and issue to the car. read more

I've been to several Jiffy Lube locations before, and most of them were fast and thorough. Unfortunately, this location was the complete opposite. The wait time was unbelievably long--over three hours just for an oil change. Yes, you read that right, more than three hours. During the entire process, there was basically no customer service. The only time anyone talked to me was to try to sell me expensive service packages. My engine air filter had been replaced just a few weeks earlier. They didn't even mention checking it and simply replaced it anyway. Even worse, when I took my car to another shop afterward, I was told that this location had overfilled my engine oil far beyond the proper level. The oil was well above the maximum mark on the dipstick. This place doesn't seem customer-oriented at all. It feels like the priority is simply making more money rather than providing quality service and taking care of customers. If you choose this location, good luck. read more

I went on on Monday November 3rd, to obtain a few services that I really needed for a while. The crew at this location took my car somewhat late in the day, they knew what they're were doing, they worked fast, but also slow enough to avoid mistakes from what I can tell. They even told me what my car needed to be replaced. Which tells me that they really looked through and inspected my car. I'd definitely go back again to obtain more services as needed. read more

Service was amazing! There was a line when I got there so it took around 45 minutes before it was my turn but that's ok because I knew I would be waiting for a while once I saw the line. Once it was my turn, the service was fast and efficient. Martin helped me and he answered every question I had regarding my oil change. He's really knowledgeable, kind, and fast. He explained the different prices and the package deal they had at the time. I went this past Saturday June 6. Will definitely come again! I previously left a good review for this Jiffy Lube, but I take it all back after what happened to me recently. I went in for a routine oil change, and they told me they couldn't remove the oil filter cap because it was "on too tight." That's all they said , no warning, no honesty. Later, I took my car to a real mechanic and found out Jiffy Lube had completely destroyed the oil filter cap by using the wrong tools to try and force it off. It was cracked and stripped, and had to be replaced. I ended up spending an extra $100 somewhere else to fix the damage they caused, and still had to get the oil change done again. They never admitted to any of this. They knew they broke it and said nothing, hoping I wouldn't notice. Also, don't believe all the five-star reviews. They ask people to leave them while still in the shop, before you even know what kind of job they really did. I regret ever trusting them. Don't make the same mistake!!! read more

DO NOT change your car oil at Jiffy Lube. I have very terrible experience to change my car oil at Jiffy Lube. They didn't put gasket on the oil filter, it caused small amount oil leaking every time when I was driving my car, I found oil leaking after I saw oil stain on the ground. and oil was spread to engine body everywhere with thick dust. They didn't put washer on the oil drain bolt. read more
