This morning I received a call from an executive at Valyou and she listened to me. I am happy to have been heard!!! i ordered a sectional that I could not get an accurate update on no matter how many reps I spoke to. So I changed the sofa model to receive a sectional in a timely manner. I got the new sectional but was due a refund of 300+ dollars and was given some out dated run around about when I would received the refund first it was 7-14 days, then at 23 days I was told oh it's 7-14 business days, or you are in a que waiting for the company to refund you to you will have the refund by 6/27, and never received the refund until this morning. So they never processed until I blasted them on social media and then blocks me for telling the truth about their customer service instead of fixing the problem or apologizing to me the customer. He was super helpful, able to answer all of our questions and gave us great recommendations/advice without making us feel pressured while shopping. We chose the delivery service and they brought the boxes right to the condo. Assembly took a bit of time, but my boyfriend did it easily with no issues. I've always found furniture shopping stressful because few companies ship to Hawaii and the ones that do often charge double the cost for shipping! Thankfully I was introduced to Valyou, which offers an amazing selection at really reasonable prices. I visited the Kakaako store a couple times before finally deciding on the Eirik sofa in light for my new place. Both Devin and Leah were really awesome and helpful. I love how friendly and knowledgeable they were about all the products. I initially fell in love with the feathers sofa but since I plan to move again in a year or so, I decided on the Eirik sofa which was only about $550. It's great quality and a really nice sofa, especially for the price. The delivery team was also really great -- they showed up on time and were able to carry the couch through the awkward skinny entryway of my apartment. This company was great to work with! I was nervous to order at first because some of the reviews mentioned a poor shipping experience, but the quality of the product looked SO good for the price I had to give it a shot. I was in the process of moving and needed a platform bed since my box spring wouldn't fit in my bedroom downstairs. I found their Charm 2.0 bed platform and loved it! Hit order and was so excited at how fast they promised delivery (about 6 days out). I believe my order came on day 7, still pretty amazing for the size of the order and the fact that it was coming from Hawaii. Setting up the bed literally took me five minutes, and it looks beautiful! It's so sturdy and was clearly made thoughtfully. And to top it all off, the company calls you directly (and it's a real person, not some lame automated system) to make sure your experience was better than good, and to explain their great warranty that's included with your purchase. I purchased the Valita Media Cobsole from their website and the experience was really great. Delivery was very fast, there was a little damage to the package but it did not impact the overall experience. The material this shop use is good material with a relatively low and very reasonable price. I was expecting manufacturing wood of my console but it was actually hardwood, yet the pricr and the look was only about 30% of those main stream "High end" furniture stores would charge at retail. It was not hard to put the console together as it was really well designed. Customer care was also great. They actually called and followed up with me to ensure everything was alright and reminded me of their return and replace policy. I have rarely had such experience. Growing up in Hawaii, I was always frustrated with the lack of furniture options around. The mainland always seemed to have a larger variety with more modern designs. Who would've thought that I would end up purchasing from an Oahu-based furniture company when we were finally able to move into our first home on the mainland! I purchased the right-facing feathers sectional in beige 110" and valxa accent chair in mocca. They're both incredibly comfortable, stylish, and quite high quality for their price! Shipping did take a little bit, but understandable due to covid-19 delays and it was also affordable, so I can't be too upset. I came across valyou right before Christmas on Facebook market place. I've had my eye on the dream vanity for a while. I wanted it for Christmas but I couldn't get it in time. I then went back looking and they were sold out. The placed me on a waitlist and when it was in stock they called me. Unfortunately I couldn't get it at the time, either. On Memorial Day weekend I decided to look into it for my birthday gift to myself. I found it on marketplace again. The lady was so kind and efficient. She sent over my form to order my vanity. After having a bad experience with Elite Discount Furniture on Nimitz Hwy (you can see my negative review on their page), I stopped by this store as I'd seen an ad and thought they had some cute stuff. I went into the store on a Friday and tried out the couch I'd seen online that caught my eye. Not only was the sales associate Jenn very helpful, she mentioned that color/style was in stock, and I could pick it up Monday as their warehouse is closed weekends. They do offer free local delivery but since I live on a military installation, I didn't feel like having to deal with getting a day pass (you can read about my struggle with Elite in that review) so picking up was my best option. The couch I saw in store was the Light Grey ValMinimal. On their website they also have a dark grey so I called the store to see which one they had in their showroom as I thought it was the dark grey. I was on hold for about 45 minutes with "one person ahead of you" repeated every 30 seconds. I finally gave up and tried the message feature on their website in which I was able to talk to someone and get my answer within 5 minutes. I placed my order to pick up at their warehouse on Saturday and was beyond stoked to get it Monday! I was told I'd would get a confirmation text when it was ready for pick up. On Monday, I messaged someone using their website again to see if picking it up that day would still be the case as I was borrowing a friend's vehicle and that day worked best. They talked to their logistics person who confirmed it was ready for me to pick up. Off I went, I did have to make two trips but to me, it was worth it to have my couch after not having one for two weeks in my new house. I LOVE the style of this couch, it's very boho and minimalistic. Also, the covers are all machine washable which is awesome. It's also comfy and I take at least two naps a week on it lol. I would recommend this company but I'd say you'd have better luck using their messaging feature to get ahold of someone, and picking your furniture up, even if it means renting a pick up truck from Uhaul. read more

Everything I bought was poor quality. 3 out of the 3 times I purchased had something wrong with it. 1. The chair I bought was missing a screw. 2. An end table I bought was glued together by once piece and it came off as soon as I started to use it. It looked like someone used a hot glue gun to put it together. Also the metal base was chipped when I opened it. When I touched it it chipped more. Lastly the drawer set I bought opens and closes poorly. The drawers also don't close completely. The instructions for all the products were also either missing or hard to understand. I will never return to this store. read more

This is basically a scam company. After ordering a couch from them, that would ship faster than other couches- it seemed like a great fit. I ordered the couch, and received notice that it would be at my house over a week ago (which after doing some deep diving and checking the Better Business Bureau, apparently my experience is not unique). I received correspondence for 3 days it would be delivered- no couch. Each day it was a new excuse. One of them was that it was the truck broke down- which okay, happens. Then they send me a tracker to track the couch... and I see it going to the wrong address. I call them immediately and confirm that they have my right address, which they say yes, they do, ignore the tracker. So I do. And then I get a notice it is delivered to the wrong address. I call them to check, and they say that it wasn't delivered because the truck broke down....? How am I getting updates that i was delivered if the truck was broken down? For the past three days, they have been "unable to reach logistics" to find the couch.
