Do not trust the yelp review...I and my husband contacted this company and Eddie (or Eddy) is the communicator...Once they make you sign the paper, they won't respond to your messages anymore. And he is the broker, will charge you $250 for broker fee and you will meet a driver who does not know about this broker fee and they will ask you more money than the contract. He even forced the driver to collect more money otherwise won't unload the car. Please look for a company who has the driver, not the broker. read more

We had placed an order with XYZ company (in April mind you), I was told closer to the pickup date we would be contacted with exact date and time. We moved June 9 and June 27-30 would be the pick up date, hesitant but we agreed...time had passed by July 6th they still had not found a driver to move our vehicles across country. I called this place and were able to not only get our cars BUT in less than three days... I am grateful for their service and for that awesome driver for making our move to Oklahoma great. Still waiting for my refund after 2 weeks going into the 3rd week. Long story short. I scheduled my vehicles to be picked up 3 weeks in advance. They asked for a 2 day pick up window which I had no issues with. I contacted them days and even a week before with no luck until the last day, I finally get a message at 2am in the morning of the last day of their 2 day window saying they couldn't pick up my vehicle for another week which I could not do. I got one refund back for one of my vehicles within a day. The second one is still not refunded. Still waiting. No reply since June 18th. Update: I finally got my refund back. Took awhile but I got help from Bobby. It was a quick turnaround once u was able to speak to him over the phone and let him know what was going on. I give him 5 stars. I'm updating the stars to due to the fact he helped me on the refund. For the over all experience I give it a 3 for the inconvenience with the lack of communication and last minute updates and cancellation. If they do better with communication, it would be smoother and less inconvenient and probably be 4 or 5 stars. Update: With better communication and apologies. I am updating the stars to 5. I believe they had a little bump during the time I needed their services. But I'm sure they're better than what I experienced. read more

Seriously, I'm blown away by this company. I'm sure they normally operate with amazing services, but I'm so impressed. After reading that a previous car shipping company was being sued and going bankrupt, I had to make a new reservation for a pick up TWO DAYS prior to it needing to be picked up.... and guess who went above and beyond? Van 3. They picked my car up on Monday at midnight from Phoenix, Arizona and by Wednesday evening, I had my car in my possession in Florida! I spoke with Bobby who answered all of my questions and then some. Their prices are amazing. I was out the door for $795 total for my locations, and when I received my car, it was in perfect condition, just like when I left it! No scratches or cracks and it wasn't even that dirty. I'll start by saying the job was complete and no damage to my car so I'm happy there. My issues are the lack of communication once they take your deposit and the fact that they don't communicate with the shipper. This company is a broker and not a direct Carrier as most of these companies are but others make a point of at least making sure the client doesn't know the difference. The broker told me I would be given a 24hr call ahead from schedule pickup time. That did not happen. I get a call the day of that the driver is at the car location and since I'm not there he's going to leave and cancel the shipment. Luckily the driver gave me 40 mins to rush over with the keys. The car was shipped and I was given a couple false delivery dates as it was supposed to be next day but took 4. Not really a big deal because I wasn't in a rush. At the end the shipper told me that the broker still owed him 100 in addition to the money I was paying him and that I needed to either get the broker on the phone or pay it! Side note: NEVER PAY THE BROKER THE FULL AMOUNT BECAUSE THEY WILL TRY TO GET IT. Now I'm having to collect money from the broker that I've already paid OR pay twice. At this point Im doing the shipper and broker job of communicating with each other to get the customer(myself) taken care of. It's just frustrating and not professional at all. My suggestion make sure you go with a direct carrier it just cuts down on the confusion and extra work. *****Update To your inquiry of taking care of the 100, it's more about you guys being transparent as being just a broker first off. Secondly, if you are going to be a broker actually BROKER the deal from beginning to end. I'm paying you guys for a service to take care of something. Not cause me headaches of the actual shipping company calling me asking and demanding things that is your responsibility. As a customer I'm not supposed to deal with any of that headache or else I could have brokered the deal myself. You guys just wanted to be a middle man collect your fee and get out the way. That's not service and that's not brokering. I feel like I should have been paid your $125 broker fee. In the future actually read the customer review before trying to take care of a problem. Not all clients are asking for money. ******Update #2 Surprisingly I received a phone call from Bobby this morning. I must say I'm very pleased that he was not all talk. He listen to my concerns of the experience and he gave a clear plan how this would it happen to another customer. This is really the service a consumer is looking for. A lot of times we don't care that a company has a bad go at it we just want to feel heard and understood. Bobby achieved this on the call today. I now give this company 4 stars for the recovery. After spending days researching auto shipping companies, I was very skeptical I would ever find anyone I could trust to ship my car. It's a very strange industry with no regulation. I read so many bad reviews until I found Van3. I spoke with Bobby and he assured me that they don't run a shady business. I wanted a shipper direct (not a broker) but that is nearly impossible to find. Bobby took the time to re-assure me that he only works with reputable companies that he trusts. I agreed and was called within a day or two for the pickup on Monday night in San Diego with drop-off to Denver by Friday or Saturday. Well, the car arrived even earlier, on Thursday! Van 3 was the only shipping company I could get ahold of on a weekend, and Bobby was very helpful booking the pickup date and explaining the process. I decided to go with them because I knew I'd be able to get ahold of him on a moment's notice, as he was very responsive by both phone and email, and seemed to really care about his customers. My car made it across the country quickly and safely, and was more affordable than the larger shipping companies. The only con was that there were some issues with city/state regulations for large trucks that affected both the pickup and delivery and caused some last minute adjustments of plans. I felt I should've been told up front about any guidelines or restrictions so I could better plan how and where to drop off and pickup the car, but Bobby was quick to accommodate for the inconvenience, however. The driver also had issues in some states with the truck size/weight that caused some delay in arrival, which I would've expected him to have been prepared for or know in advance of the trip. Overall, although there were a couple things that could have been improved (and maybe mostly due to the truck driver we had), I think the company is great and I would recommend them to anyone in the future. read more

I guess I would still only use this company again, if I was guaranteed another 3rd party shipper. This company deserves a zero in rating. They transported my car from Illinois to Las Vegas. Car was in mint condition. My son checked it when it arrived but because the car was massively filthy and parked on a steep driveway, he did not see the damage to the roof which was caused by either the transporter or a car being lowered too much on it. Because he did not see this and signed off on it, Bobby from Van3 would not help pay any of the $3700 damages it incurred. It also cost us $899 to transport. Lakeshore Recovery who was contracted out to transport it took full responsibility in text messages . Sent me for a estimate then when received it, completely cut off all contact. The damages are all mine. Contract them out at your own risk .... They don't even respond to any kind of message or phone call or letter once they are involved in car damages. Shame on both companies. We actually offered to just take the deductible towards the damages but they refuse . I realize my son signed off on the delivery. He said because the body looked fine but filthy didn't see the damage to the roof Because of the filth. Again, hire at your own risk !!!! read more

In August of this year (2021), I contracted with Van 3 to transport my car from Massachusetts to Florida in the middle of October. I was given a price of $1099. I was flying to Florida on Oct 13th. I was told that the car would be picked up around Oct 11th. A few days before the car was supposed to be picked up I still had not gotten a call from them to set the details of the pickup. On the day the car was supposed to be picked up, I still had not gotten a call so I call Bobby, the dispatcher. He told me that he was having trouble contacting his driver but he promised the car would be picked up that day; it wasn't. This went on for a few days. On Oct 13th, I called Bobby from the airport and got the same story (e.g. hasn't heard from the driver with a promise that the car would be picked up that day; again, it wasn't. I called Bobby the next day, I got no answer so I had to leave a voice mail message. Bobby never called back. This happened a couple of more times until I got a message that my call was being blocked by him. At that point I started looking for another transport company. I was told that the prices were now higher (about $1400) because over 450 snowbirds were trying to have their cars shipped at the same time. I contracted with Nexus Auto Transport and my car was picked up the same day. I don't know this for a fact but I believe that Van 3 gave me the run around so that I would cancel with them and they could then sell that slot for a lot more money. They got their wish and I cancelled with them. The only good thing I can say about them is that they promptly refunded my money. read more

I have used many car shipping companies in the past, but this has been the best one so far. I called them over the phone for a quote, and they gave me by far the best price to ship my vehicle from Chicago to Minneapolis, My car was picked up on the day that I needed the vehicle to be picked up ( I had to get on a flight the following day in the morning) The driver gave me his cell phone number and told me that I can always call or text him if I need updates. He called me the day before delivery and scheduled a time that worked great for me. I got held back at work, and was 30 minutes late getting home to meet up with him, but he was very nice and did not say anything, His name was Jason, and he told me that he understands that people can be late and that it is part of his job to wait for their customers in order to do a proper delivery inspection report. I hate being late, and when it happens I always get very worried that the person waiting for me will get upset. Overall, the service was awesome from this car shipper. This has been the best car shipping experience for me as Van 3 has affordable prices, their office staff is very friendly, and their drivers (at least Jason) will go above and beyond to satisfy the needs of their customers.
