I know that the car shipping business can be very tricky, but he did a great job getting a driver to transport my vehicle quickly and without any problems or delays. Bobby was very friendly and understanding and always responded to all of my questions within a reasonable time. This was not my first time shipping my vehicle, but it was by far the best one. After doing careful research, I found that Van 3 Auto Transport is a carrier and a broker. This means that they have their own divers and they also work with other companies in order to make sure that every vehicle is picked up on time and delivered within a reasonable time frame. Bobby assured me that if it is not picked up by their company driver, it will be picked up by a carrier that they have used in the past and that my vehicle will be absolutely safe. I spoke with Bobby and I booked my order on Friday afternoon. Bobby called me a few hours later in order to tell me that the driver will be loading the vehicle on Monday. My vehicle was picked up on Monday afternoon and it was delivered on Thursday morning. I was very worried as I booked my order on Friday and I really needed the vehicle to be picked up Monday. It was very last moment, which I know made things much more difficult. Bobby worked very hard to make the best out of my tight pick up window. He was very clear and also explained to me that it would be ideal if there is someone on call in order to release the vehicle to the driver and hand him the keys. On delivery, everything worked out really well for me. The driver called me on Wednesday in order to let me know that he will be delivering at 10 AM on Thursday. I had to drive my son to the dentist and got back home at 10:30 AM, but Jason (the driver) was very understanding. This was not the cheapest car shipping company I have ever used, but it was worth every Dollar that I paid. This was my third time shipping my vehicle from Los Angeles to Miami. I had some really bad experiences in the past, therefore, this time I decided to do a very good research in order to avoid my mistakes from the past. I found Van 3 Auto Transport online and I loved the fact they they have their own trucks and drivers. From previous experience, most companies are are just brokers, which is something I did not like. Van 3 Auto Transport showed me pictures of their own trucks and I really liked the fact that my vehicle will be in safe hands. They were very transparent from the beginning and they explained the who car shipping process to me over the phone. After speaking to their agent (Bobby) I was certain that I will move forward and ship my vehicle with them. Bobby gave me a very good price, one of the lowest I had received, and I booked my order with him. I paid a small deposit of $199.00 and my Honda was on its way to Miami. Their driver (who was a company driver) was really nice and kept me informed on his location just about every day. My vehicle was delivered about five days after pick up, and Jesse (the driver) was nice enough to wait for me to come back from work! He told me that he will be at my house around 5 PM, but he was ahead of schedule and ended up coming at 4 PM, which was too early for me as I was at work. When I came home at 5 PM my vehicle was in my driveway and he was waiting for me to sign the paperwork. As previously stated, I had shipped my vehicle two times before, but this was was by far the best. These guys really went out of their way to get the job done for me. I needed someone to pick up my vehicle on Christmas Eve. I tried going with another company, but they cancelled my order in the last minute saying that they have a "mechanical issue." I spoke with Van 3 Auto Transport and they told me that they will do their best to have my vehicle picked up on Christmas Eve, but they will need to speak with their driver before we get the order booked. After about 1 hour, they told me that they do have a driver who will be passing through Las Vegas and that my vehicle will be picked up. It sounded great, but I was very skeptical about it and I assumed that the price will be way over my budget. Believe it or not, the quote that I received was actually lower than the previous one that I received from the other company! I instantly booked my order and waited to hear from the driver. In about three hours, the driver called me to give me a heads up that he is one hour away from my house in Las Vegas. He showed up on time and picked up my vehicle in less than 15 minutes. I was very impressed with his professionalism and how he was very careful while loading my car on his trailer. My vehicle made it to Chicago in three days from Las Vegas, which was one day ahead of schedule. They had great reviews and I loved the fact that they are not just a broker like everyone else, they actually have their own trucks and drivers. Bobby was very informative and overall very friendly. He was able to guarantee that my vehicle will be picked up a few days before Christmas and the driver actually delivered my vehicle on Christmas Eve! I did not think that it would be possible, but he made it happen for me. Works cannot describe how happy I was with getting my vehicle on Christmas Eve! I was planning on renting a vehicle for a few days as I had no car, but this worked out awesome for me! Was a little nervous on moving the car from Ft. Lauderdale to St. Louis Mo. I had a tight schedule that needed to be well coordinated. After reading several reviews, it appeared that this industry was just not reliable. Pick-up times and dates were "probable" at best. And worse, it seems multiple companies liked to play with up-charges for everything imaginable at the end of the transaction. Van 3 Auto seemed to be a little different from the first time I contacted them. I spoke with Bobby and he talked me through the process. They were priced about $350 higher than the lowest price I received, but also not the highest either. From the start, they just seemed more reliable so I took a chance. Now that the car has been delivered, I can say this company exceeded my expectations. They picked the car up when they said they would, they provided me a link to a site where I could track the driver across the entire journey. About 2 hours before delivery the driver called me to advise the time he would arrive, then again about 30 minutes out, and again when he pulled up to un-load. Their professionalism, and customer service were fantastic. The pick-up and delivery of the car could not have gone better. Would highly recommend using this company. Terrible.. terrible.. terrible... Please don't use this company. Bobby is a fast talker. He charged us a $200.00 deposit for the transport which we agreed to and the remainder to be paid at delivery. When the car arrived a third part company showed up at my door NOT Van 3 Auto Transport. once the car was off the trailer they said they needed $900.00 to release the car. I was like no problem charge my card that you have on file.. No we need a check or cash to release the car we are not Van 3 Auto. I attempted to call Bobby 10x and no answer for an hour. After an hour of waiting some other slackly from Van 3 Auto called us and said Bobby was not available. By then we had to pay the driver otherwise no car. Still no call back from Bobby and its been almost 6 hours. Below is the email from Bobby.. no mention of having to pay the final payment in cash or check... That is the best car shipping company in Chicago - quite possibly in Illinois. I know that's a big claim, but I have tried 3-4 other companies and the customer service was really poor. I have yet to find better than Van 3 Auto. I shipped my Toyota Prius from Chicago, IL to Atlanta, GA. I did research and decided not to choose the cheapest quote and to go with them because of their perfect online reputation, and guess - It was NOT a mistake. Really appreciate communication during the whole process. They called me 1 day before loading the vehicle and kept me updated while in transit. I could not meet the driver in Atlanta,GA but he'd safely unloaded my vehicle and left the keys to my neighbor. ALSO they have their own trucks and the equipment is I would say - brand new.
