Located in Hollywood and Little Armenia. Tucked in the corner. Parking in the front. The owner said he has been there over 30 years. He wasn't very friendly. Very short and didn't seem to want to answer questions. Open late hours. However, the baklava was really good! The pieces are a great size too! The pricing was really good too! Locals shop here so that helps you know it's good!

Gayane is the best!! She is very kind and sweet. Her customer service is 10/10. I wish the world had more people like her. And the cake was delicious. I wouldn't go anywhere else to get a cake moving forward. Also the pricing is good!! You cant get that anywhere else. Thank you so much.

Absolutely beautiful cake. It tasted as amazing as it looked! My guests absolutely loved it! Very thankful to Alla for baking this lovely and delicious cake for my birthday. I frequently order cakes at this bakery and I am always very pleased with not only the appearance of the cake but the incredible taste as well!

I mainly come here for their meringue and their cheese rolls. They have plain cheese rolls and flavored, my faves are the pineapple ones. I took some to a few gatherings I went during the holidays and people loved them! This is an Armenian style bakery and you can find so much sweets and goodies. Perfect stuff for gifts and pot lucks. I like this location even when there's always sketchy behavior around. I never had an issue outside but I have seen it from afar so be aware at all times. They have Armenian cake by order and I will try to get one for my upcoming birthday as everyone should try that cake. It's pretty good and sweet, such a treat! Plenty of parking in this plaza next to Ocha restaurant on Sunset & Serrano Ave. Every worker is nice and always explain their stuff if you're not familiar with them.

Super appreciative of this bakery to custom make a cake with 3 days notice. Very affordable even with the short notice.

While waiting to do the escape room, we stumbled on this amazing bakery. My family and I decided to stop by and explore the pastries. Wow! What a pleasant sight! Greeted by a round table adorn with several bouquets of beautiful white roses and good looking pastries. Gayane, the staff behind the counter, made our experience at the shop enjoyable. Hubby went crazy with the sweets and bought 2 boxes full of pastries to bring back home to San Diego. Glad we stopped by. Totally enjoyed the experience. Gayane, keep smiling! Thanks 4 making our visit to your shop fun and memorable!

So happy we found this bakery ! The ladies are super helpful and nice but not only that , they can create magic and make any vision some to life. I ordered 2 days before the event and they accepted my order, and did an amazing job beyond my imagination ! I just sent some pictures as inspiration and gave her a few guidelines and less than 48 hours later I picked this amazingly beautiful cake that tastes delicious ! It was pink inside as the gender of the baby is a girl and they use vanilla cream and strawberries. It was fluffy, not too sweet and delicious ! And to top it off , the price is super reasonable ! Definitely my go to place now for cAkes !!!!

I swear I am addicted to this place :-) I found this place…read more10-12 years ago, when we lived in DTLA. We used to come here and buy salads, Sandwiches, Donuts all the time. About 5 years ago we moved to San Fernando Valley, but I am still visiting this place at least twice / 3 times a month. I wish I could come more. Their Mango Jicama salad is my favorite, and the donuts... oh my goodness... Do not miss this place if you are in the area.

I've visited Café Dulce in Little Tokyo before, and I usually enjoy stopping in, especially when…read moreI'm in the area with my two kids. The drinks and pastries have always made it an easy place for us to grab a treat, so I'm not writing this based on one random first impression. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing enough that I felt I needed to say something. When we came in, the trash cans were overflowing, and the floor looked like it had not been cleaned in quite some time. I understand that cafés can get very busy, especially in Little Tokyo, and I never expect a place to look perfect every second of the day. However, the dining area felt noticeably neglected. With two children, cleanliness is something I pay closer attention to, and it was uncomfortable trying to find a clean area for us to stand and sit. The overall atmosphere also felt disorganized. We waited at the register for help, but it took a while before anyone acknowledged us. A simple "I'll be right with you" would have made a big difference. I have had better experiences here in the past, which is why this visit stood out so much. I'm hoping this was simply a bad day, because Café Dulce has always been a place I was happy to visit with my family. I'm sharing this because I would genuinely like to see the cleanliness and customer service return to the standard I remember. Private Feedback for Management I did not feel comfortable putting the full details of this experience in a public review, but I believe management needs to be aware of what happened. While I was standing at the register waiting to order, the male employee working there was engaged in a conversation with another person and appeared to be openly gloating about drinking while on the job. Based on what I heard and observed, he also appeared to be impaired or intoxicated. He continued the conversation while ignoring me, even though I was standing directly in front of the register waiting to place an order. The tone of the conversation was not subtle or professional. It created a much darker and more uncomfortable atmosphere than what I would ever expect from a family-friendly café. I was there with my two children, and hearing someone behind the register casually talking about drinking while working was deeply concerning. Someone who appears intoxicated while operating a register and handling customers' money creates a terrible narrative for the business. It raises concerns about judgment, accuracy with transactions, food-service safety, and the overall professionalism of the workplace. Even if the employee was exaggerating or joking, it was still completely inappropriate to have that conversation openly in front of customers. What bothered me most was not only the conversation, but the fact that I was being ignored while it continued. I was waiting to spend money at the business, yet the employee seemed more interested in talking about drinking than acknowledging a customer. As a mother standing there with two children, the situation felt uncomfortable, disrespectful, and honestly a little disturbing. This is not my first time visiting Café Dulce, and I have never felt compelled to complain before. I understand that employees are human and that businesses have difficult days. However, the combination of overflowing trash cans, a dirty floor, being ignored at the register, and an employee appearing impaired while discussing drinking on the job crossed a line for me. I am sharing this privately because I believe management should have the opportunity to address it directly. I hope the situation is taken seriously, not only for the reputation of the café, but for the safety and comfort of the customers and employees.

Personally, I don't like that style, I was hoping the original would change that for me! Long story short, I didn't like the Walnut Chocolate Chip. I personally just don't like that style still, so I'll chalk it up as a "me" problem. The cooked part was good. The Rocky Road was cooked through. It was an amazing baked good with good flavor and add-ins. Between the roasted almond slices and fudgey chocolate chips, I was enjoying it immensely. A highlight of my day for sure. If you love underbaked cookies, Levain is your cookie shop! I don't and they had something for me too!

Based on my memories, this LA location keeps it consistent with a similar taste and texture as the NY location. 3.5/5 Chocolate Chip Walnut: This cookie was tall and slightly undercooked in the middle. The middle was a bit on the squishy side, and crunchy on the outside. Due to the undercooked quality, it's not a cookie I'd get regularly, though I am a big chocolate chip cookie fan. 5/5 Rocky Road: This was delicious. I'm not usually a marshmallow fan, but the addition of this ingredient formed a nice chewy consistency that I expect from a cookie. Chocolatey tidbits were well melted into the cookie texture and produced some fudgey notes. The cookie sizes are large and potentially shareable, and feel like an every once in awhile treat.

Chocolate Hazelnut Pain au Suisse: Tasty, chocolatey, and hazelnut flavors throughout. Feels like a refined Ferrier Rocher wrapped in bread. Definitely needed water alongside this one because it's quite rich! This was a fun spot to try, and the vibes are beautiful, cozy, and quiet on a weekend morning! Downside is that I first tried the fish panini years ago and it was a bit better then, but it's still good currently. Other pastries I've tried here have been pretty good. They had some various buns with mochi inside, and those were great. Another one of my fave is their mentaiko salt bun. Great flavor, though I wish they would stuff the thing with more mentaiko. Their curry breads are good too. I took my daughter here and she got one with cute emoji drawn on, and she said the custard filling and the bread was tasty as well. I've tried some drinks here and they were alright. A friend was into their banana matcha when they have that in stock. Pretty simple layout here. Get in line and see the goods, then you reach the cashier and order and pay.

I got a sausage bbang, a chocopie, and a dalgona latte. The sausage bbang was soggy on the bottom and honestly tasted like it was from the day before. The chocopie barely had any filling, just a thin layer of marshmallow and jam. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. My total was $15.25 and I paid cash, but I was given $4.75 in change. When I said it should be $5, she seemed confused and asked what I meant. I told her I literally gave you a quarter right now, and she questioned it before eventually giving me the correct change. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a mistake. I understand times are hard, but charging more for products that clearly had corners cut doesn't sit right with me. It just comes across like there's no integrity. Clearly the quality and portions are going downhill. I wasn't even planning on writing this review. I was going to stay quiet, but the chocopie really ticked me off. I'm not going to pay for food that skims on ingredients and shortchanges customers by charging more for less, so this will be my last visit.
