Overall a truly terrible experience and I am a returning customer. The woman working at the front desk is really pleasant. I wouldn't say that about the shop owner and the technician, though. I arrived with a pre-paid Groupon voucher to complete the VA safety inspection. Once the work was completed, the inspector told me, "Just give me $10!" instead of accepting the voucher. When I refused, the store's owner came out yelled in my face, "If you don't like it here, don't come back!" Please be mindful of the dubious activities taking place here. I am so glad this place was recommended to me. I unfortunately have a problem car. Every time I bring it to Van Dorn, they are patient, fair and quick about taking care of it. I recently had my catalytic converter go belly up on me. I checked online as to what I should expect to pay for it. Van Dorn fixed it for less. Other places I called inflated the price to at least $500 more. Van Dorn suggested I get it checked first and the diagnostic would go toward any necessary repairs.
