Crispy crust, melty cheese, tangy onions and the perfect amount of everything in every bite. Then onto the main event: the flights! The staff brought over our cake and drinks and were so great about explaining what to pair together. (There was also a card) Desserts were a carrot cake with the most impossibly airy icing, a pistachio cheesecake with chocolate ganache, and a chocolate cake with a light nutella icing. I'm usually a carrot cake girlie and while I enjoyed it, the cheesecake was actually my favorite. Just the perfect pistachio flavor and a wonderful consistency -- so, so smooth. Our waitress told us that the owner is the one that makes all of the desserts too. A multi-talented queen. As far as the martinis, my favorite was the affogato one. These flight-nights are one-off events and the items aren't normally on the menu, so if you see one that looks extra appealing, get yourself there! They have a service area at the bar specifically for folks to walk up and order (they also have seats at the bar and seats at tables). The restaurant did get a lot of sun as it's a corner restaurant and there is some patio seating. I put in an order for the Huli-Huli Pizza, Pizza 'Da Bayou, and Beignets to-go. The server was quick and attentive. The food came out within 15 minutes or so and time felt like it went by quickly. I instantly took pictures of the food because I was so excited for it! If you're avoiding, allergic to, or do not enjoy marinara/tomato sauced pizza, then these were two great garlic oil based options! The Pizza 'Da Bayou was a savory option and the Huli-Huli Pizza was a tasty sweet option. The beignets were still warm when they got home, but they're definitely best eaten fresh. I tried all of their IPAs, and they were all very flavorful. We sat at the bar; the place filled up very quickly after dinner time and most of the tables had people at them. They have a lot of events here ie trivia, comedy nights, and EDM nights. The EDM music started at 6pm and went until 2am. It was $10 to get into the separate back space where the DJ was. If you want to dance amongst the vats of beer, I recommend stopping by for this. They have a food menu where there are more options available now; it includes wraps, salad, wings and some other stuff. We also tried the chocolate chip cookies that were freshly made and were very chocolate-y. The ambiance here was very relaxed too. Everyone we met here was friendly and happy to be here. You can sit inside or you can grab your drinks and go sit outside. They have drones chairs scattered about on what I'd describe as the backyard of a farm. We sat down, watched the goats and Emu's, relaxed and enjoyed our beers. I really enjoyed my time here and I'm looking forward to going back, especially as the weather gets nicer.
