A DREAMY spot to unwind with friends!! And the baby goats are ADORBS. This gem has no entrance fee. Park and come on in. Try to visualize this...goats roaming happily nearby, music playing in the background, a playground and tire swing for the kids, hammocks swaying gently in the breeze, and wide open spaces everywhere you look. The kitchen closed around 6p so no food review this time. Instead we kicked back with a tasty beverage and soaked in the sunset. Heritage Hill is the kind of place where kids can roam freely and parents can finally relax and catch up. Casual, welcoming, and full of simple joys. It's everything a Sunday or any day should be. Love this place.

Such a great location with many dining options on a nice night. They have indoor seating, porch seating, and tables around a fire outside. Mostly barbecue choices but I had the brisket and it was spectacular! Perfectly cooked and melts in your mouth with just enough seasoning! Brought the dogs with us and the thoroughly enjoyed their night out as well. This place has the most beautiful sunsets!

I will never come back to this place - the plate was barren, looking more like a cafeteria meal than a sit down restaurant. The brisket meat was dry and plain. It took almost 2 hours to receive my food.

We were in the area to get our Christmas tree-with hungry kids. We decided to feed them first and had a great experience. We noticed new acoustic panels, and the sound was much more bearable-albeit a much less crowded time than my last review. The kids are older now, but still picky. Our daughter's grilled cheese was excellent, and our son ordered another side of fries. We had adult drinks, shared the Bavarian pretzels and soaked in the Christmas decorations. The staff was tuned into our kids needs, and almost every table had young children. And, the tree hunt was a success because the kids weren't hangry! Yay!

The service here was amazing. We came in for a bachelor party with 26 people. We all sat at one huge table. The service was amazing. The kitchen staff had the food out to us in less than 20 minutes. The food was delicious. Not one person complained about the food or drinks.

Stopped in to HH at about 6 on a Thursday. Mild crowd but nothing crazy. Waited somewhere between 10-15 minutes for our waitress to come take our drink order. Not great. We both had house beers, were really nothing special. Mine was a Vienna lager that wasn't unpalatable but unmemorable. 6 bucks for a pint was actually quite fair- especially considering the rest of the menus prices. The menu is decently sized but everything is really, really expensive. 17 dollars for 10 wings? 16 dollars for poutine? How about 17 dollars for a Hamburger- cheese to you ask? Two dollars more. 19 bucks for a cheese burger is highway robbery as far as I'm concerned. My date had pickle fries and cauliflower wings. She liked both of them but I found them to be middle of the road. I had a cheese steak that was the special of the night. It was...fine? Didn't taste like much of anything and definitely could've used more peppers and onions. Some very strange SU lacrosse radio show was occuring in the restaurant while we were having dinner and that added a certain ambience that I had never experienced. It was also the owner's son's birthday and the whole restaurant sang to them so that was something. I've been here a few times and never have come away as anything other than disappointed. Beer is mediocre, food is too expensive for what it is, and the service wasn't great either. Oh and there were kids running around the restaurant-cool vibes for a brewpub. I have a feeling that this place gets far more credit than they deserve solely based on the fact that they're in Pompey. There's nothing else in Pompey and it's simply the de facto best option. I'd be hard pressed to find my way back.

I love the ambiance here and have been here a few times with friends and family and have always enjoyed the food and drinks. Our last visit, however, was so fantastic that it deserves 5 stars and more! We were there with another couple to drop our kids off at a private event in the big barn, and OMG- what a fantastic space for a private event! I could totally picture a wedding or bridal/baby shower there. They also had one of the smaller enclosed outdoor spaces set up for a private party the next day, and it was so cute and the perfect place for a small, private celebration! We proceeded to enjoy dinner in the main dining area and we were enthusiastically greeted by our server, Kelly, who has such a sunny and funny disposition. We ordered burgers, a 2-meat platter, and I had the rack of ribs with sides. The ribs were perfectly tender and fell right off the bone, and their Mac n cheese is so creamy and pure deliciousness! The others in our party also really enjoyed their food. Kelly was the highlight of our evening though- her spunk and attentiveness made the night so enjoyable! Heritage Hill is a great local spot and hopefully one we can frequent for years to come.

Heritage Hill seems like it is far away from Syracuse, but it is actually a short, beautiful drive. From the farm, you have a wonderful view looking downhill towards Jamesville reservoir. I bet that on a clear day you can see quite far. Heritage Hill has a large dining area with outdoor seating under cover, and picnic tables under the sky. There is lots of space! Given the location and outdoor seating, I get this is an awesome spot on a hot day. That might be a good time to visit again. Heritage Hill has a good beer menu, although not as extensive (or varied) as I expected. They were out of our first choices. It would have been good to know that when we were deciding what to order. The food is very good. Both if our dinners were filling. The bean burger was hard to eat because it fell apart, so the person resorted to a knife and fork. The chicken sandwich was messy because of the amount of hit sauce, but I love hit sauce! I used the extra on my fries. The menu on their website is different than the one we were given. Having an up to date menu online would help with planning in advance of getting there. Finally, the prices on the menu are the CASH prices. If you do not use cash, the prices are 4% higher. This is written on the menu.

Had heard about this place from a Facebook page and was visiting the area and decided to stop in. First impressions is that they have a very seamless online reservation system. Was able to place a reservation for 2 an hour out. When we pulled up we were a little early so we walked around and took in their views. It is in a beautiful location! Also stopped into their little cafe where you can warm up by the fire and grab a hot coffee or hot chocolate and even a cookie! We sat at the bar (our choice) so we could watch the football game pre-show. My husband tried a beer flight and then ordered the Tijuana beer. He liked it a lot and compared it to a more-in-depth corona. He then ended up ordering one to drink as well. I had their spiked cider and it was delicious. Very impressed with their pretzel sticks! Really great flavor and the mustard and cheese sauces that accompanied them were yummy as well.

When I saw an espresso martini and cake pairing, I knew I had to pull the trigger. Met up with some friends and we all ordered food beforehand to offset the impending sugar rush. I'd had their naan pizza in the past and loved it, so this time I went with the one that had caramelized onions and goat cheese. AMAZING. Crispy crust, melty cheese, tangy onions and the perfect amount of everything in every bite. Then onto the main event: the flights! The staff brought over our cake and drinks and were so great about explaining what to pair together. (There was also a card) Desserts were a carrot cake with the most impossibly airy icing, a pistachio cheesecake with chocolate ganache, and a chocolate cake with a light nutella icing. I'm usually a carrot cake girlie and while I enjoyed it, the cheesecake was actually my favorite. Just the perfect pistachio flavor and a wonderful consistency -- so, so smooth. Our waitress told us that the owner is the one that makes all of the desserts too. A multi-talented queen. As far as the martinis, my favorite was the affogato one. These flight-nights are one-off events and the items aren't normally on the menu, so if you see one that looks extra appealing, get yourself there! I've been for normal service too though, and honestly, never have had a misfire here. One thing I especially love is the option to order drinks in 5oz pours, a godsend for lightweights like me. Ambiance, food, drinks, all excellent.

Well presented and delicious! The carrot cake, especially was the best carrot cake I've ever had. The martinis were the perfect complement. I also had kataifi for the first time (it wasn't coconut, as I initially thought)! The only sad thing is that this is a special menu and not offered permanently at the moment. Perhaps that could change with some strong positive reviews..... The special flight nights happen periodically. I'll keep my eyes open and plan to visit again regardless!

Any other time, if you are not a regular, this place might not be for you. I've been here several times with mixed experiences. The last time I was there was a Thursday in the summer of 2024. My husband, brother and I were excited to find seats at the bar and order dinner. The bartender was a short blonde woman and there was a male bar back. The bartender did not acknowledge us for over 15 minutes. We were actively looking at the menu on our phones and talking about what we wanted to try and attempted to make eye contact with her as she walked by us with no luck. She didn't even say "I will be right with you", literally no interaction. She was very friendly with everyone else around us seeming to know exactly what they were drinking and happy to get it for them. We left as we felt very unwelcome there and ended up having excellent service down the street at Lukin's.

We found this little gem and holy toledo did we we strike gold. First of all, the hostess was super nice and greeted us right away even though she was clearly busy and hustling. We chose to sit outside at a picnic table to soak up the beautiful weather. The outside is fun with brightly painted picnic tables and murals on the building. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and offered great suggestions. She was great and we really enjoyed interacting with her. We started with rum punches which were made with freshly squeezed juice and they were out of this world. We shared the "everything" wings which were crispy and that sauce was delicious. We were tempted to lick the sauce off the plate. We refrained so we didn't get strange looks. I had the Kimchi Reuben which is made with house made kimchi I might add. My husband got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. We both opted for Poutine Fries for our sides. Guys, this food was unique and spectacular. I'm just bummed it's 3 hours from home!
