HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! First and foremost, I chose this establishment based on their reviews. Tisk! Tisk! I placed an order on 09 May, and requested when ordering online that the flower arrangement I ordered be delivered on 10 May, in the late morning or early afternoon. This was supposed to be a surprise for my mom, since I couldn't spend Mother's Day with her, and I wanted her to have flowers at work that she could enjoy for a few days prior to the weekend. I called the flower shop around 1pm and was told they were delivered. I spoke to my mom around 4:20pm and she didn't say anything, so I called the flower shop again, and spoke to someone different. He said he'd check, put me on hold, and then ended up hanging up on me. Fine...mistakes happen, I get it, so I called back. When I called back, he informed me that HE CALLED MY MOTHER'S OFFICE NUMBER TO FIND OUT HOW LATE SHE'D BE IN THE OFFICE. Talk about royally screwing up a surprise. Now my mom is hanging out at the office for another 2 hours, but for crying out loud...when I spend $156.85 for a bouquet of flowers and delivery, I expect them to at least be delivered on time. What do they not understand about "Please deliver in the late morning/early afternoon"? The last time I checked, 6:30pm was NOT considered early afternoon. If, as a business, you can't follow direction, or at least do what is needed, please let your customers know. I really shouldn't have to have followed up to find out the mistake, and...again, thanks for screwing up what was supposed to be a beautiful surprise. I'll never, EVER, EVER use your services again. I'd have better luck going to the grocery store's florist. Ugh. Quick update: When the guy (mentioned above) called my mom, he asked, "How late will you be home?". Seriously? Since when is "Harris Corporation" a home address??? AND I selected "office" when I ordered them. I am seriously hot. When my daughter got married, I knew I would not trust anyone but them to provide the flowers for this grand affair -- and they did not disappoint. They went way beyond with both service and flowers. At first, i went to flower district in downtown to find my florist but i ended up being very disappointed with the vendor i dealt with. It was only a few weeks before the wedding and she was able to accommodate us. The flowers looked really beautiful and she was able to add more to the look of the venue and i was really surprised! My wedding coordinator was pleased with her crew and she even complimented how professional and helpful they were during the preparation. The only thing that i was kind of disappointed was my wedding bouquet. It was not the arrangement i was hoping for but the colors and the flowers at least made up for it. For my birthday my husband decided to order me flowers and have them be delivered to me at work, so he decided to use Van Nuys Flowers--BIG MISTAKE! He ordered flowers and a balloon and told them to deliver it IN THE MORNING to my office. Around 3:30pm I got a knock at my office door from one of my co-workers holding a bouquet of flowers and said, "I think these are for you, and i guess there was a balloon that came with it, so if you want it, she can drop it off tomorrow." Perplexed i read the card and was touched my my husband's thoughtfulness. When i called my husband to thank him, he was stressed and annoyed at the flower shop since he had called them SEVERAL times to remind them to deliver them in the morning. I got them at 3:30pm. I decided to call myself to complain that i didn't get my balloon with my flowers, and i spoke with the owner Elizabeth (delivery girl/shop owner) and asked her why she didn't deliver it to me herself, so she said, "I was so frustrated that i couldn't find your suite i just gave it to your co-worker." And I asked her if i was supposed to get a balloon with my flowers and she said, "Yes, so if you want, I can deliver it tomorrow." What do you you mean, "If you want your balloon"?!?!?!? Elizabeth provided the flowers for our July wedding. Our first meeting was a Saturday morning appointment for our consultation. Our wedding colors were cornflower blue and gray, so we asked for mostly white flowers to avoid awkward dyes. We didn't have any specific flower demands - just whatever would be in season and inexpensive. We only wanted bouquets, boutonnieres, flower girl baskets, aisle arrangements, two altar arrangements, and a cake topper. We looked through photo albums to find styles that we liked. Per Elizabeth's suggestion, we planned to reuse flowers for the reception - the aisle arrangements for our sweetheart table and the altar arrangements to place beside our cake table. She provided 3 choices of increasing price for each item (budget, value, and luxury). We had a second meeting in June to choose the price level for each item, choosing mostly budget with some value items. I thought it was a bit odd that she didn't show us any samples at this second meeting, but we put our trust in her and everything turned out so beautifully!
