I had tried working with 1800 flowers.com. I was trying to get a nice plant to a friend who had lost his father. They failed me. I told her what happened and she just calmed me down and made me feel like family. She made some recommendations that she could have delivered same day. DO NOT purchase your flowers from this place! I ordered flowers for my mother which I paid $63.00 for the arrangement and a total of $93.00 dollars including delivery. Online the flowers looked full and had quite a few roses with a ribbon around the vase. Luckily I was with my mother when the flowers were delivered and it looked like a $10 dollar market store arrangement. It was horrible! I didn't pay so much money for something I could have picked up at Jons. The delivery man didn't even have the decency to walk up the stairs to give them to my mother. I called the flower shop immediately and spoke to Elizabeth who is the manager and she is returning half of the money for the flowers because that arrangement was not worth $63.00. I hope she see's this review so she can see the crappy quality of her flowers. Overall a horrible experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone! read more

Received a call from Van Nuys Flowers earlier today. Katie left me a voicemail, stating I had a delivery and wanted to see if I was available.. I called my husband and he informed that he had sent me flowers but it was suppose to be delivered tomorrow for Valentines Day. I called back and spoke to another person didn't get her name and she said that there would be a rainstorm and that's why they wanted to deliver today instead of tomorrow (Valentine's Day) . I am so happy we came here. We decided at the last minute that we needed some flowers to decorate the head table for my daughter's Sweet 16 so we went into the Van Nuys location. We told her exactly what we wanted and asked for a nice table cloth as well. She gave us her expertise opinion so we went with it; not really knowing the exact outcome. We trusted her.
